What a great find! New to Deland and friends recommended. This is NOT your typical ice cream place. Their flavors are creative and unique! They start with basic chocolate and vanilla flavors and build new taste sensations. Our banana bread Flavor of the Day was amazing. They even have gluten free ice cream sandwiches! The simple vibe is enhanced by a killer play list for the background music that seemed to have something for every generation. Service is college-age casual, but perfectly fine for this location near Stetson University.

This place is absolutely adorable!! The butter pudding cake was delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They do have a couple of gluten free options which is fantastic. I cannot wait to go back.

Amazing store, high quality items. In love with the potato millet bread and other gluten free items. The people are as beautiful and welcoming as the products they offer. Great restaurant. It's small with a 55 person max cap and stays busy.average food cost is $15 to 20 a roll or meal. The portion size is huge and honestly it has more sushi fish than most restaurants. I like the Stetson. Service is great but can take a minute depending on how busy they are. We go every couple months and have not been let down yet. Multiple gluten free options including Gluten Free Soy Sauce.l but ne sure to mention it and the chef will make changes as needed. We had 5 rols and an app for about $100 and it was totally worth it.

I heard of Positano a long time ago and was waiting for my trip to go. I tell you, my friends and I just talked about ordering extra next time because it was so good. I had a gluten-free crust; I loved the crispiness, and the tomato sauce was perfect—not acidic or heavy. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza with a regular crust, and she loved it too. We ordered a cannoli and a cheesecake; the cannoli was delicious, but the cheesecake—OMG! I ordered one to go. The best thing was the service; they were super nice, and the coffee was an extra plus. Amazing Key Lime Pie! A little shop that seemed to be in the middle of no where that is a total gem. A must if you love Key lime. They have fabulous chocolate covered Pie on a stick and out of this world gluten free Key lime pie. The pie has a strong Key Lime flavor but definitely not overbearing. Done to perfection.

Cozy dine in / take out pizza restaurant. Lots of different pizzas by the pie or slice not to mention other Italian offerings. For me it is known for really good Gluten-free pies. I have the Celiac condition, allergic to wheat flour making pizza a challenge. We have been getting our GF pizzas hear for several years with no issues. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Tables and booths are available.

BEST ice cream in DeLand (and surrounding areas)! Home made ice cream and gelato with lots of delicious flavours, and the home made caramel sauce on top is the best I've ever had! They have several gluten free and vegan flavours too. Highly recommend this place, will definitely be back! 😍

Very helpful staff, accommodating to the gluten free diet in our group. Great service. Food was delicious and portions were very generous. Prices very fair. Not a lot of seating inside the restaurant, but there is outdoor seating also. Loved it.

I've only been sitting outside when eating here, but the service is really good and the food is delicious! Big portions and lots of options on the menu. I eat gluten free because of food intolerance, and the waiters have no problems answering my questions.

“Sorry for the hiccup” Never seen a manager blame their staff for mistakes especially in front of their staff and guests. Explicitly told the waiter I had severe gluten and dairy food allergies and was still served a salad with croutons and then to make up for it I was brought a dessert covered in dairy. The manager felt that he did us a favor of taking off the salad from the bill that I couldn’t even eat, how generous. He also constantly blamed his sever for the issue. The whole team was kind but very unaware of the proper way to handle allergies. When we left I was told “sorry for this small hiccup” because yes screwing with my allergies is a “small hiccup.” They did not understand the severity of the situation which is a shame because everyone else enjoyed their meals but none of us left in a positive mood because of the experience and the negative way things were handled.

Very good and plentiful food. Friendly place and offers take out or dine in. Sushi is great, beautiful plating. Waiting for their liquor license still, but otherwise, a rising star for the community. Update, 02/2024, we eat here about once a week (closed on Tuesdays) they do have their liquor license with nice wine and saki. Takeout or dine in, always good food with several gluten-free choices.

They have really good ice cream, lots of flavours and friendly staff! If you're gluten-free or have other allergies, you will have to "guess" which ones are safe, as they don't have a list of allergens in the different ice cream flavours. I asked the girl behind the counter who also mentioned about cross-contamination. I am gluten-free so I chose the flavours I know are "safe options" that doesn't contain wheat or other gluten-ingredients.

Food is good and employees are nice, but every single time we’ve gone here, they’ve forgotten to put something we ordered in the bag. Literally every single time. Also, I have celiac disease and need a gluten free bun for the grilled sandwich. It’s almost ALWAYS forgotten, which is extra annoying because you have to pay extra for the gluten free bun.

Adorable atmosphere. Excellent service. Very small limited menu with very few gluten free options. We enjoyed it but would not go back again due to the limited menu. Went for lunch, but the menu was geared towards brunch with several breakfast options.

Had a great server and the place was not packed for once. It was later on a Sunday and the food came out fast and was on point. I ordered some gluten free options such as nachos and got real cheese instead of beer cheese. The nachos were huge and amazing. My last visit was not as good when they were busy bit this visit redeemed my thoughts on the place Definitely reay good burgers and lots of alcohol to choose from. I will return again.

Locally made mead on tap, great for those who require a good gluten free drink! You can taste the different flavors before you choose, would highly recommend coming in for a pint of delicious mead

Love this place!! The atmosphere is light and tropical. The food is amazing!! We got the NY Mac and the Mexi Mac. The NY Mac is Buffalo Chicken based, and the Mexi Mac has pico and a meat option. They do have gluten free and vegetarian and vegan options.

A pleasant dinner, was seated upon arrival. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, and above average quality. Prices are also above average but the quality makes it worth the cost. Full bar for drinks, everything except for blended drinks. Wish they had a glutenfree menu, but staff were helpful to inquire what was available.
