What a great find! New to Deland and friends recommended. This is NOT your typical ice cream place. Their flavors are creative and unique! They start with basic chocolate and vanilla flavors and build new taste sensations. Our banana bread Flavor of the Day was amazing. They even have gluten free ice cream sandwiches! The simple vibe is enhanced by a killer play list for the background music that seemed to have something for every generation. Service is college-age casual, but perfectly fine for this location near Stetson University.

This was the 2nd time I've been to this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. I have a gluten allergy and the server was knowledgeable and ensured I modified my roll without anything with gluten in it. The spicy edamame was excellent too. By far the freshest and best tasting sushi I have had since moving to Florida!

I heard of Positano a long time ago and was waiting for my trip to go. I tell you, my friends and I just talked about ordering extra next time because it was so good. I had a gluten-free crust; I loved the crispiness, and the tomato sauce was perfect—not acidic or heavy. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza with a regular crust, and she loved it too. We ordered a cannoli and a cheesecake; the cannoli was delicious, but the cheesecake—OMG! I ordered one to go. The best thing was the service; they were super nice, and the coffee was an extra plus. I started off with a wedge salad that was gigantic so I could share it with my husband. It was fresh and delicious. I ordered the baked penne gluten-free. It was absolutely delicious huge portion. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli. It was absolutely luscious. The service was fantastic. Definitely coming back.

Wow! Just when I thought all restaurants were declining, this one blew me away. Our server was very attentive, on top of things, friendly, and very accommodating. He knew the answers to all our questions and confirmed how they make their gluten-free entrees so we can safely bring our friend with us next time who has celiac's. The food came out hot, not greasy, and so, so good! The beer cheese was delicious along with the fresh and warm tortilla chips. The fish and chips were delicious. The patty melt was perfectly cooked, tasty, not too salty, and didn't make the bread soggy! Can't say enough good things about this place. We'll definitely be back, despite being in the heart of DeLand, which I prefer not to stop in.

I've only been sitting outside when eating here, but the service is really good and the food is delicious! Big portions and lots of options on the menu. I eat gluten free because of food intolerance, and the waiters have no problems answering my questions.

Adorable atmosphere. Excellent service. Very small limited menu with very few gluten free options. We enjoyed it but would not go back again due to the limited menu. Went for lunch, but the menu was geared towards brunch with several breakfast options.

Food is good and employees are nice, but every single time we’ve gone here, they’ve forgotten to put something we ordered in the bag. Literally every single time. Also, I have celiac disease and need a gluten free bun for the grilled sandwich. It’s almost ALWAYS forgotten, which is extra annoying because you have to pay extra for the gluten free bun.
