Visiting the Copenhagen Café in Tarpon Springs, was such an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff provided top notch service, making me feel warmly welcomed. Amazing coffee and wonderful selection on a very diverse menu. I was pleasantly surprised to see vegan and gluten free choices.

We're always looking for GLUTEN FRIENDLY restaurants because of food allergies. So I'm happy to report that Johnny Grits offers GF pancakes and Belgian waffles! It is awesome; but beware, they both have milk ingredients, so they're not entirely allergy friendly.
Additionally, I want to commend them for not mixing pancake batter into their omelets like IHOP does, because that makes even more GF menu options.
We visited Johnny Grits for the first time today, while on vacation from out of town. The new manager made a point of introducing herself to us. She's sweet and seems very involved. The rest of the staff was pretty attentive as well. The place seemed really popular. It was very busy, and it's not a large place, so I appreciate the outdoor seating option.
I'm sure we'll go back during our trip.
Charming and cozy, this delightful spot offers a warm atmosphere with a cheerful vibe, making it a perfect weekend retreat.

Saturday mornings at Sweetwoods Bakery is a highlight of my week. My husband and I meet up with a Wisconsin couple visiting
Tarpon Springs for two months. (We too are Snowbirds). While three of us are bonkers over the fresh cinnamon rolls, the fourth, out of necessity, indulges in a slice of gluten free cake 🍰 with his coffee. Gluten free chocolate chip cookies were also an option today. The bakery itself is SO SWEET, QUIET and HAPPY. Everyone has a smile on their face. I must mention the Staff. Every one of them is WELCOMING, SMILING AND A DELIGHT TO INTERACT WITH.
Dive into a menu bursting with amazing flavors and unique creations that keep diners coming back for more.

Absolutely blown away by this new menu! Excellent flavors! Started with the ahi tuna - delicious and they were able to modify it to make it gluten free! Moved onto the beet and goat cheese salad. This is actually meant to be a dinner salad, but I just couldn’t resist, so I had only half to ensure there was enough room for the main course! The flavors were so well balanced and enticing I wanted to eat the whole thing! Onto the main course- I went for the swordfish. Perfectly seasoned and cooked! And make sure to get those brussel sprouts! They just exploded with flavor! For dessert- crème brulee. Your waist line may object, but your tastebuds will swoon!! I can not wait to return and try more of the new offerings!
A must-visit for unique flavors, inviting ambiance, and options that cater to various dietary needs while being super delicious!

Was on a dairy free ice cream hunt and found this treasure! I sampled the Lavender Honey, which had a nice clean finish & full bodied dairy mouth feel. I ordered the Lemon Blueberry and was not disappointed! Stephanie was very helpful and welcoming. The store was clean, quaint and full of more traditional flavors! They also feature sugar free and gluten free ice creams. Prices are great!

Awesome dinner, full bar, fun atmosphere! We started with the broiled octopus, which was absolutely delicious and tender. Highly recommend. For dinner we had imported lamb chops, cooked perfectly, the salmon with dill sauce and the combination platter. Service was prompt and friendly, food portions were very good, plenty of gluten free options (wife has celiacs) and was very kid friendly for our little ones. Would absolutely rush back here for dinner.
A must-visit spot with a fantastic owner and a diverse selection that keeps bringing people back for more!

We had a wonderful meal and drinks at The Bistro. We especially loved that they have an extensive gluten free menu. Melissa was our server and is hilarious, we ended the night by signing our check with a “this idea is garbage” pen.
A must-visit for great pizza lovers with a unique twist, plus a standout Greek salad that'll keep you coming back for more.

So I have been a long time customer of Queens pizza and unfortunately my time going here is no more they recently changed their menu and don't offer Gluten free pizza in a medium size pie as they once did for $20.00 about now they do but only small but it cost more money very poor decision.
Now for today's issue 5/6/2024 went there to dine in for lunch with wife and I ordered a veal parm sandwich and I must be totally honest I would not even offer what they call veal parm to anyone as a matter of fact I would just remove it off my menu that's how bad it was it was totally dried out very tough it was the utmost worse veal I've tried eating as a matter of fact I didn't eat half of the whole sandwich it was that bad,the waitress came and asked how everything was and I was totally honest and told her the sandwich was horrible dried out all she did is said I'm sorry and walked away never offered something in place of it or and even worse didn't offer to take it of the bill very sad place has changed for the worse and my wife and I decided sitting there we will never go back im sure owner won't care but enough of these honest reviews maybe they will realize they need make things right or in time closing the doors forever sorry to say but thought I'd submit my honest review as I always do.

Nice little gem on Tarpon Springs for dinner. Authentic Italian food and decor. Staff was very friendly and our waitress was attentive. I had the Chicken Francese with tangy lemon a white wine sauce, and my husband had a seafood pasta special. It was a pleasant surprise to find gluten free pasta as an option. Best Italian dinner we have had since moving to the area a year ago. Prices fair too. We will be back again!
Charming spot with a unique ambiance, perfect for gatherings; just be aware of occasional mix-ups with orders.

On a night when a group of 6 couples went out to separate places, the guys went to a tavern and the ladies chose the Wine Society. My wife was happy to find they had gluten free options, especially one being the Flatbread which she and one other with dietary limitations had.
Overall, they enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, but one ding was the flatbreads had to be sent back because they mistakenly missed the GF crust on the first go round.
Vibrant spot with delicious octopus, but be cautious if you have food allergies.

Need to be more knowledgeable on gluten sensativies. Was assured the Greek salad was gluten free. However, I had an allergic reaction. The Octopus was delicious and my family enjoyed their food. Would recommend them, but just be cautious if you have allergies to certain foods.
All of the shakes are gluten free and Mo is incredibly cautious with other allergies!

Very good with celiac and other food allergies. Servers are educated on the ingredients that are gluten free, nut free, etc. and they have a sign specifically for everything that can be put in the bowls that shows what allergens are in them. It’s also cheaper than Fishbowl Kitchen even with add-one like avocado and cream cheese.

Consistently good pizza and service! Gluten free pizza is a little expensive and I wish they had larger sizes, but overall I completely recommend.
Ordered 2 large pizzas, one gluten free pizza, 24 garlic parm and 6 garlic teriyaki wings. Total bill 101.79 to a local establishment I supported many of times . Ordered several times for pick up and never an issue. I believe the last order 9/4/21 was a pizza and garlic parm wings which were so crispy I was excited to ordered again. Today wings were horrible! The garlic parm were soggy and one bite into teriyaki it was not cooked all the way. I called and I did say I was putting them in my oven to further cook and wanted to let them know how disappointed we were. I first was told it’s because they sit in styrofoam they get soggy. She put me on long hold. Second person said no this is not the case but perhaps next time tell them I was well done (never did before). Neither of these 2 said it was store policy we needed to bring food back. Later in evening received a voicemail from Donna the manager stating they were wrong. There will be no refund. It’s thier policy food needs to come back. I advised store policy is not posted on website. She didn’t want to hear that the wings were soggy and undercooked and stated $40.00 is a lot of money and cannot refund. My $100 hard earned money she didn’t care about. I was advised the wings are cooked twice so impossible for them to be uncooked. Well they were. I told her they lost our business and I wanted the name of the owner. Her reply was they have thousands of customers so it doesn’t matter and she was not allowed to give owner name. It’s sad because I see within the last 3 months negative reviews. I should have taken photos before we threw them out to post here No way to run a business !
The unique Greek Chow Mein and perfectly grilled skewers stand out, making for a satisfying meal with generous portions and great value.

Based on other reviews I ordered the Greek Chow Mein which is a house specialty. It was good, the tomato sauce was an interesting combination but overall it was enjoyable. The Greek side salad was a big portion and delicious. The chicken on the skewers we ordered was perfectly grilled.
I have celiac so I was looking for gluten free options. Nothing was marked GF on the menu but the waitress did give me some suggestions.
I was a little disappointed that we ordered the cheese for the table that they light on fire and when I asked if it had flour she said it did. When we were leaving another server told us it can be made without the flour (so I could have eaten it), so we wished our server had thought to offer that option. Overall though it was a great dinner and everyone enjoyed what they ate , prices were reasonable and portions were decent.
Enjoy a delightful experience with helpful service and tasty offerings that keep you coming back for more!

I went here Friday and had a lovely experience. First I have to say how amazing the customer service was. The cashier was so helpful and kind. She let me try 2 of the dips since I was indecisive. They even cut up cucumbers for me, instead of pita since I don’t eat gluten. The food was so yummy!! I especially loved the humus. I’ll definitely be back!!

The coffee was amazing and refreshing! The barista was so nice and willing to answer any questions! (They have some Greek style coffee i personally have never tried or seen before). Also willing to customize as much as you would like for sweetness and milk alternatives. They also had gluten free food options. The shop it’s self is so clean and welcoming. I love the furniture and small design/decor details. They also have some outdoor seating and merch for sale.
Great vibe and good food, but expect a bit of a wait due to staffing issues.

Very good food. My wife has severe celiac disease so we need to be very careful and selective when it comes to eating out.
We definitely will dine at Tarpon Tavern again.
Why 4 and not 5 stars? Like most places, i imagine, they're short staffed so the waiting time is longer than it should be.
