I was hoping for a good meal away from the French Quarter, but we got so much more. The entrees were SOOO good, they truly took us by surprise. I’ll remember the chicken and the shrimp dishes for a while.
I rarely order dessert, but after an entree that good, I needed to see what dessert offered. The Salted Peanut Pie was delicious. Only thing of mention was about the lack of gluten free dessert options - typical ice cream and sorbet offering.
Unique crusts, upbeat vibes, and satisfying salads make this spot a must-visit for pizza lovers seeking a great time in the city!

I ordered the Vegan Lover Pizza, which I’ve gotten several times before, only to have a different employee tell me that it’s not actually vegan unless you order it with the gluten-free crust??? Wildly misleading! Apparently, the regular crust has butter in it. I am so thankful that other employee let me know.
Sad and deceived.
Charming spot with elevated casual dishes, delicious baked goods, and fantastic coffee, perfect for a satisfying meal or a sweet treat.

This place is entirely underrated. It can be hard to get quick meals with my allergies and values regarding food. This Green Fork was perfect. The ingredients in the smoothies, juice, and prepped meals were obviously fresh and high quality. No unnecessary fillers, preservatives, or refined sugar. I got the butternut squash chili and ate it with some chips. It was very filling and comforting. I also tried the kindness smoothie, and I got a few other soups and juices. This is real, safe food that makes me feel good. I normally just have to eat at home. Try them if you're gluten or soy-free.
An unexpected gem with a warm vibe, offering a creative menu, fantastic drinks, and a location perfect for a quick stop in town.

Decent food. Server allowed me to switch out corn grits for potato when she found out I can't have milk or cream. They have gluten free toast. Server also recommended the rta bus and streetcar for me to go to the art museum. Very convenient and saved a lot of money

Gluten-free labeled on the menu! Great cocktails made with their own spirits - we tried 6 different ones and liked all - and excellent food. We had the chicken sandwich and gulf shrimp over Creole slaw with a GF chocolate torte for dessert! A great way to spend a few hours, especially at happy hour prices - $5 for craft cocktails!
With a funky vibe and must-try dishes, this charming spot draws you in but expect a wait for a taste of its delicious offerings.

Really cute cafe with delicious food we had the crab meat omelette (must have) shrimp and grits (must have) gumbo soup, biscuit sandwich and migas. Fresh squeeze juices were great. The biscuits are made from scratch and wonderful. No gluten free bread but there are some gluten free and vegan options in the menu. Cute vibe inside. No reservations so be prepared to wait but it’s soo worth it.
Chill vibes and a cute aesthetic await, with a stylish interior and a lovely outdoor seating area perfect for sipping on unique drinks.

Omg!!! I would eat here again in a heartbeat. Lindsey our server was the absolute bomb-she helped guide us through the menu (especially providing me with gluten free options) and made some great suggestions. We had the double pork chop and shrimp and grits with Sangiovese wine -superb! Fantastic meal - best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had!!! Gluten free brownie was so most and full of chocolate flavor. Top notch place!!!
Had the local swordfish. Was cooked perfectly. Nice medley of local flavors. Very friendly wait staff. Good for gluten free considerations. Creme brulee is very delicately delivered in a white chocolate bowl, which is nice. Dessert is small but very enjoyable.
Happy hour vibes flow into an incredible dinner experience, featuring unique flavor combinations and a welcoming local atmosphere.

New Orleans locals and can easily say this was the best meal we’ve had in months. Absolutely excellent. We got happy hour drinks at the bar (3-5pm on Sun) and then transitioned to the restaurant dining room for dinner. We split the duck with sweet potato hash and the scallops with crab hash. Both absolutely INCREDIBLE. Also, for my allergy peeps, many menu items were dairy free & gluten free - they have a designated gluten free fryer.
Amazing spot that brings a taste of Trinidad to New Orleans, perfect for takeout and ideal for family gatherings!

The best food in New Orleans period… I used to pick up to-go three times a week on my way home from work! Since then I’ve had Catawampus cater my parties and I take my family there when they come to visit. It’s so good for everyone, whether you're a vegetarian, vegan or gluten free Catawampus will get you right!! Their cauliflower is so good and their chicken is die for 🌞 Catawampus is so good! It’s always a special surprise when I bring it home for dinner! Would highly suggest ordering if you’ve been to Trinidad, the food will take you right back to that beautiful island.
