Needed a gluten-free safe place, and they delivered per reviews! The fries are in a dedicated fryer. I had the brisket with fries. They confirmed our order was all gluten-free when delivering our food. Not only that, but the manager came out to tell us that on slower days, they have time to make GF fried chicken too!

an absolute staple of the island. the staff is amazing, and are always friendly and helpful no matter how busy!! so many great icecream options but on top of that they have an AWESOME breakfast selection. their breakfast sandwiches have saved me and my friends mannnny mornings. also one of the only places on island that truly accomodates gluten free and celiac diners! love them.
A casual date spot with a great atmosphere, offering vegan options and impressing with its choice and quality of toppings.

I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to margaritas and Mexican food. NanTaco 100% great and just what I was looking for. Chicken quesadilla on corn tortilla. Did not have to do this at all but as a celiac they did not hesitate.
Best margarita for 8 years running, after work, every Friday has always been Aye Rosa, Calle Lion, Madrid, Spain. And now I’ve found one just as good. Do not hesitate to eat here.
THANKS
I was disappointed with this place that was talked up so much. There were no gluten free pastry or bread options at all. I settled on a smoothie which cost $13. It wasn’t sweet at all and barely had any flavor. Clearly it was made with frozen berries as it was very cold and slushy. I tried adding honey to it but that didn’t even help. I could only manage to get about 1/3 of it down. Very disappointing.
My party had the Oxtail Gnocchi and the gluten & gluten free Bolognaise (pardon my spelling) dishes. Every bite was perfectly delicious from every dish. Saw God. Will visit again.
Amazing vegetarian and vegan options. Just as many gluten free things as there are not gluten free things. The baked goods are amazing and the smoothies are delicious. A very friendly staff that you get to know well as you come again and again. The crepes at night are so good! I cant wait for next season!
When my wife told me we were going here, I admit to an audible groan - “Health food!? This is supposed to be a vacation!” - I exclaimed.
Dear reader, I was wrong to be skeptical. The Beet blew me away with the quality of food and with the friendly service! We all loved the salmon salad, which was loaded with fresh veggies. Also, the pasta carbonara was anything but a health food - we couldn’t get enough!
Also, there are plenty of vegan and gluten free options.

Had a chance to meet and spend some time with Silas, the head brewer, and his family today. What an absolutely awesome guy. He and his wife and daughter made our day with our three kids so wonderful.
On top of having an A+ fam, Silas also really knows his beer. The Millet Time gluten free pale ale is so good you'd never know it wasn't a "regular" beer. Great malt backbone and still a tight, clean finish. The Spotted Turtle dunkel is also one of the very best dunkels I've ever had from an American brewery. It's on par with Von Trapp, who I think does it as well as anyone in the world. It's a REAL dunkel, a dark lager that's still great even on a hot sunny day, instead of the overly sweet, almost stout like "dunkels" a lot of breweries do.
It's one thing to visit a brewery and have a good time, and it's another to meet people that really transform your day from a good one to a great one. I can't say enough about what a wonderful time we had, and it's all thanks to Silas and the rest of the crew at Cisco.
Friendly and efficient staff even when busy. Ate there twice and would come again happily. Excellent burgers, greek salad, tomato red pepper soup, and "veg salad with warm grains". Reasonable pricing for Nantucket, and dog friendly! Also, there are gluten free items.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with unique mock-tail options, though be prepared for possible delays and mixed reviews on food consistency.

Tasty and atmospheric. From reading other reviews we were pre warned that we might wait for our food, but it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Our waitress was diligent about notifying me of gluten cross contamination after I ordered a gf bun, which I appreciate. I also loved that they had mock-tail options. It seemed a little pricey, but honestly everything on the island is. My husband ordered clam chowder, but it never came out. He also ordered a burger medium, but it came dry and charred. Since it is off season, I wonder if they are having kitchen staffing issues. 🤷🏻♀️
Really liked the location, next to Child’s beach and a good view of the water. Lots of outdoor seating and family friendly. Accommodated our large party by putting us at two adjacent tables.
However, these were high prices for a mediocre meal. I was grateful that they offered gluten free bread, but it came out soggy and tasting like it had been frozen just five minutes before.
A true five star for us on a recent day trip. We ate outside under the shade of an umbrella and had a great breeze. Our server was patient, kind and efficient as we inquired about meals for our daughter who has celiac. Our daughter settled on a caesar salad without croutons. She added chicken as well. She said it was one of the best salads she has ever had. My son and I had the burgers (delicious), and my husband had a shrimp po'boy which he enjoyed. The prices, service, and setting were perfect for the few hours we spent on the island.
5 star service (Abbie was great)
5 star food (try the scallops apptz and steak dinner)
5 star drinks (Cisco beers were good)
5 star gluten free options (chicken and smores tart)
I highly recommend.
Went there several times on a recent trip. Lovely chicken salad with slaw, and great hot chocolate. Really like the complimentary sparkling water on tap. Nice touch. Friendly, relaxed, clean, gluten free options, Wi-Fi, seating inside and out. What's not to like?! I'll be back. 😎
If you know, you know! The Nantucket Bake Shop has somewhat of a cult following to those who know and love Nantucket. From their fresh baked donuts and pastries to the famous Portuguese bread, everything they have is amazing! Due to a recent celiacs diagnosis, I am now gluten free, which sadly means many of my favorites are out. But I was thrilled to learn they have a few gluten free options now as well! Stop by and meet the friendly staff and enjoy a special Nantucket treat!
Great Restaurant! Pickle plate as an appetizer and the swordfish sandwich for lunch. Staff was awesome! Would definitely eat there again. Also had gluten free bread for those that need GF.......
The smell of the coffee in this cozy, little shop is amazing! I bought a gluten free carrot bread to take with me for breakfast the next morning, and it was absolutely delicious! I'm always delighted when I find baked goods that I can eat and taste just as good as regular baked goods.
With a vibrant atmosphere and standout dishes, this spot is a must-visit for those seeking a lively dining experience!
