First time visiting and brought my mom along with me. The owner and person taking our order were very helpful and friendly with suggesting their favorites. The owner asked if a separate fryer was needed for my gluten free order, and understood the need due to his wife having celiacs as well. I felt very well taken care of, and contrary to most gluten free taco options, these were decent sized and the flavor was outstanding!! Will definitely be making more visits and bringing more people to try it out!

I do NOT recommend this restaurant for people with allergies. I went with a group in October for brunch. I made it clear to my server that I had a wheat (celiac disease) and nut allergy. I ordered the farmer’s breakfast and the server let me know that the fried breakfast potatoes were in a shared wheat fryer so she asked for potatoes made in a skillet. When my food came, my potatoes were fried and clearly were the same as other people at the table. I let the server know and she agreed. I watched her take it back to the cook and he just shrugged her off with some words and ignored her. She came back and said that he told her they were made in a skillet. I said, “I’m sorry but it’s clearly not true. I won’t have anything else.” It wasn’t her fault but I was very disturbed the cook tried to flat out lie regarding allergies. It’s 2024, grow up. I would not go here if you have any allergies. For the price of fare, you would think there would be better service. I had been in previous years and was fine but it looks like that’s no longer.

I appreciate a good restaurant with top notch service and this one did not disappoint. I have a gluten sensitivity so I was so excited to find they had a gluten free pasta option. I'd love to see more gluten free options on the appetizer menu but I was overall impressed regardless.

I just have to be honest here, the house burger was a spiritual experience. Literally the best burger I have ever had. The service is always amazing when I go. The vibes are immaculate. Every time someone comes up to visit, I bring them here. 1000000/10, would give a million stars if I could. Only downside: not much in the way of gluten free/friendly. I’d probably be here once a week if they were 🤣

This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. They always have a few different types of coffee from different regions. They have fresh homemade bagels. And they have some vegan and gluten-free baked goods. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere if you want to meet a business associate or just come and work remotely for a couple hours it’s very inviting.

I just had the most wonderful dining experience at Izakaya Bay City! I rarely write reviews, but this place was so good that I had to write a long one. As a celiac, it is very hard to find good sushi that is also safe and gluten free. Izakaya had sushi, entrées, and a lovely dessert that were safe for me! I recommend sitting at the sushi bar where you can view the sushi prep area in full. The chef was present and able to answer all of my questions. He recommended safe options and even made modifications to some items I wanted to try to ensure they were safe for me. The restaurant had tamari for me to use alongside my rolls, but the cuts of fish were so tender and flavorful that it wasn’t really needed. Each dish was meticulously crafted, showcasing the chef's exceptional skill and creativity. The yellowtail sashimi was an incredible cut of fish, as evidenced by its melt-in-the-mouth texture. The seared scallops with avocado rice and lemon beurre blanc were nothing short of sublime—easily the best scallop dish I have ever experienced at a restaurant. The scallops were perfectly seared, boasting a rich, caramelized exterior while remaining tender and succulent inside. The accompanying avocado rice provided a delightful lemony creaminess that complemented the dish beautifully. The seared tuna was equally impressive, offering a perfect balance of seasoning and texture. For dessert, the orange crème brûlée was a standout, featuring a luscious, silky custard with a subtle citrus twist that was both refreshing and indulgent. The service was prompt and attentive, enhancing our dining experience without being intrusive. The izakaya-style ambiance added to the charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, Izakaya Bay City exceeded my expectations with its flawless execution, exceptional flavors, and thoughtful approach to dietary needs. It’s a true gem that I wholeheartedly recommend for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience.

By my wife's want, we went and checked out the new Chipotle here in Bay City. Bring a person with celiac disease, I was sure there food would be gluten covered; however, I was taken aback to hear that 98% of their foods are gluten free! (Avoid the flour tortillas of course!) Upon asking about allergens, the manager on shift promptly gave me a card stating all potential allergens. All in all it was a very tasty bowl they made me and I hadn't felt ostracized for asking about glutens! I shall surely be back again another day.

This was such a great place to have lunch with my husband. He LOVES it and can't wait to go back soon!!! The owner went out of his way to gluten free bread so I could enjoy a sandwich. This is one of my go-to ice cream parlors in town! Not only do they have a large amount of flavors to chose from, but they have all allergens posted with them as well. The worker even kindly washed the scoop for me when i asked her to do so, in order to prevent cross contamination from gluten! The scoops aren't skimpy and the ice cream is smooth and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Polish food! Hard to eat gluten free because so much is breaded and fried but not impossible and the staff was really great about trying to accommodate us. You're in for a treat if you don't have dietary free holding you back.

There are almost 100 different flavors of ice cream from several different brands, including gluten and dairy-free options. Or you can get cider donuts! You go in to pick out your treat, then take it outside to enjoy. There are many picnic tables, both in sun or shade. There are many cages and barns of animals to look at, and they sell feed of you want to feed them.
