My family and I visited St Ignace this weekend. We all have celiac disease. BC pizza staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was wonderful. We had the cauliflower crust pizza and subs. 10/10 will be coming back!
Homemade dishes steal the show here, with a variety of options and quick service that keeps everyone coming back for more.

I read reviews that they are knowledgeable and had Gluten Free options, it’s also on their menus they have GF pasta and buns to accommodate. Reviews state the chef and server were understanding and offered other options outside of the menu. So I met a group of people here after a 4 hour drive and our server Emily states “since the new owners took over, burger is the only GF meat they have with the GF bun and no other GF options”, and they do not have any GF dressings for a salad. So I sat there while my group of friends ate. The reviews I read were 3-4 months ago.
If you do not have GF pasta or a chef or owner that does not accommodate, the menu should definitely be updated. This place is a prime restaurant for travelers and is disheartening getting here and I find out there are no accommodations.
Pro- clean establishment, great views!
My friends food was out quick and reviewed it at 4*!
Charming spot with a cozy vibe, quick service, and tasty dishes; perfect for a relaxed meal overlooking the water.

Went here for lunch with my family. The menu was very hard to articulate as someone who has an allergy. After trying to order two things, I told the waitress I had Celiacs disease where she obviously had no idea what that meant. She offered me a flat bread that when I asked if they could do on a gf bun she said no. I ended up getting a patty melt where I had no idea it would come with cross contaminated fries until served. Very poor allergen etiquette. The atmosphere and view were nice.
Bustling atmosphere with a diverse menu and unique dishes; just be ready for a bit of a wait to fully enjoy the experience.

If you need a place to eat, eat here.
The place was wonderful we had a long wait as we were a family of 7 and it was busy for dinner on a Tuesday. I had questions about the items being gluten free as I have celiacs and they were more than happy to let me tell me. For reference the fries and tortilla chips are cooked in the same fryer with other gluten items. So I chose the cottage cheese :)
The wait was long since we wanted to sit together so they gave us chips and salsa on the house! Which was so nice!
It was a celiacs dream. I had to personally thank the chef as my burger came out first to ensure that it wasn’t cooked with the best of the gluten items. 🥹❤️
They have the BEST gluten free bun I’ve ever had. I got the count burger which was amazing. My brother got the olive bleu cheese burger and he said it was the best burger he’s ever had.
And last but definitely not least our server Ronda was an absolute delight I wish i could have her at every restaurant we go to. She was so caring and sweet and lovely and she gave us the best serve we’ve had in a long long time ❤️ thank you to the chef and to Ronda for making a night I won’t forget!
This cozy spot offers a vibrant atmosphere and a popular selection that keeps the crowds coming back for more.

Loved it here! Had an omelet and cheesy hashbrown scramble! Would have liked to see more gluten free options. Server was amazing, timely, and kind! That’s the northern hospitality!!
Great food, friendly staff and gluten free bread, even if you're not into that I recommend checking this place out just from the amazing amount of pottery
With a quirky menu and twist on classics, this spot is a must-visit for a fun and clean vibe during your U.P. adventures.

Nicest staff I think we ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Our Airbnb didn't have power, and we are from two states over. We arrived close to close (on accident) at a loss to find some warm dietary friendly food and figure out where we were gonna sleep with the ice storm and winter weather warning.
The staff stayed open late. Helped us find vegan food options. Gluten free, nut free, dairy free and egg free food for my partner. And then helped us with the area to find a hotel, explain how many places were out of power, which attractions would be safe in the weather etc. They even got our dog a treat, which we were very grateful for.
10/10 if your visiting the area come here.
Delicious fish dish with fresh veggies stands out, making for a tasty surprise even for non-fish lovers, plus excellent service adds to the charm.

Poor man Whitefish with veggies were delicious, nothing marked if gluten free on menu and this was the only option offered for gluten free. I am not a fan of fish but this was very tasty and service was impeccable.
A visit here offers a chance to experience Michigan's UP vibe, though some prices might surprise you, like the $11 blueberry pie.

The food and service were very good. Our server, Judith was very nice and attentive to our needs - she offered a gluten free bun alternative when I requested my burger with no bun. However, I don't think that we have ever before paid $11 for a piece of Bluberry pie with ice cream!
It was an opportunity for us to say that we'd been to the UP of Michigan!
They have homemade GLUTEN FREE waffle cones. They are awesome. I have only had a great gluten free cone like this once before in Spearfish South Dakota.
