Lunch time on a Sunday, and we were the only ones in the place, which was a bit surprising because the food is out of this world!
The restaurant is beautiful. White linens. Gold framed paintings. Dimmed lighting. Lovely.
She had the beef stuffed ravioli -- exquisite.
I had the tutti di mare (gluten free, because they do that here and do it well) -- absolutely succulent.
Salads -- crisp, fresh, delicious.
Cannoli -- the freshest I've ever had. Decadent.
Upon my request, our server even made me a lavender Italian soda. Perfection.
She was friendly and attentive, and even let me know that the cannoli was not gluten free, because I had chosen gluten-free options for the other parts of my meal.
Every experience I've had here has been like this one. Never bad service. Never a bad food item. Magdaleno's is hands-down, my favorite Italian restaurant.
Expect a lively atmosphere with unique drinks and a solid menu, though noise and seating might not suit everyone’s vibe.

Upscale lunch and dinner with elevated pub style foods. Owner has gluten intolerance and understanding of celiac and dietary needs. They have gluten free buns, fries, pasta, and many naturally gluten free dishes. I have had fantastic experiences here as a symptomatic celiac.
A must-visit for health enthusiasts, this spot boasts an impressive range of fresh groceries and unique products, making shopping a delight.

I came for a smoothie and their detox salad, but I coincidentally wanted to make seitan tomorrow and their vital wheat gluten is cheaper than Kroger! The vegan jerky they stock is also a favorite.

I'm sad to write this review.
Quality has sadly gone way downhill since the new owners took over. I've been eating Frank's since the 1970s; I know what it should taste like. Today's pie was terrible. Sauce isn't the same, and the crust was either not made with quality, high gluten flour, and probably over proofed.
The bacon was missing, but since I didn't check the box,I didn't discover that until we got home. It didn't eat like a fresh pie, but rather one that has been sitting around.
Owners need to honor the commitment they made to the former owners, and more importantly, customers.
Bye, Frank's.
Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with attentive service and delicious meals, perfect for a relaxed outing with friends.

I wish I had taken more pictures. I can’t express how disappointed I am in how our experience went for my Mother Day dinner. Our first time dining with you will likely be our last. We ordered a gluten free burger for my husband (who has celiac disease), which is why I also spelled out my directions for the sauce needing to be either gluten free or omitted. His order came on a gluten bun, with fries made in a shared frier instead of coleslaw (further contaminating his dinner), and he couldn’t eat. F he had, he would’ve been hospitalized. My steak was well done, instead of medium rare, and my daughter’s Mac and cheese meal came without the veggies we ordered.
When I called to ask how we could be refunded for our meal, I was told I could come back and have it remade (I live 45 minutes away round trip), or I could have a credit for the next time I come in. The drive time meant feeding my daughter past her bedtime, and is impractical. And, why would I want to come back with a credit, to expect better service this time? I just wanted my money back. Not a single meal of the three was edible.
Then, the hostess hung on on me.
I’m so wildly disappointed in how this entire thing has gone. I reached out on Facebook first, five days ago, to see if anyone would be willing to make this right. I was left on read.
Disgusting way to run your business. I’ll never be back, and will tell everyone I know to never step foot in this place.
This place offers a vibrant atmosphere and fantastic cocktails, making it a downtown gem you'll want to visit often!

Such a vibe here! Always good service. Food is good, limited gluten free and shared fryer. Wednesday nights are half of cocktails. I love the Ube Cocktail! 💜
