I had a great experience here with celiac disease. The server answered my questions confidently and personally walked me through the menu. They confirmed when bringing out the cauliflower appetizer that it had come from the dedicated fryer. I enjoyed a burger and tater tots. Highly recommend!

Nina's is such a cute neighborhood cafe with a pleasant atmosphere and sweet vibe. Service was friendly and welcoming and they had some gluten free muffins and vegan cookies for those who have these needs.
A spot known for delicious polenta at brunch and a knowledgeable team ready to make your visit enjoyable awaits!

We really loved this place! The waitress was super sweet and the food was awesome! We just wish there was GF toast for our breakfast. But over all, it was great! We had a good gluten free breakfast 👍🏻
Enjoy a cozy ambiance with a nice patio vibe, perfect for gatherings, especially on special evenings with friends.

Perfect weather on one of the nicest patios in the city. The food was excellent as always, especially the halibut cheeks, a rare find in the midwest. The celiac member of our party also really appreciated the very wide range of options available. Our server, Bryan, was outstanding. His pleasantness, knowledge and timing all contributed greatly to an entirely wonderful evening.
Expect a vibrant atmosphere and impressively quick service, perfect for those looking for a satisfying meal with customization options.

Lightning fast appearance (of my precise off-book breakfast order- I was 2 sips into coffee after opening a handful of creams into it when my giant platter appeared. It isn't maybe a low budget option but the food is good, quick, and they both know how to leave off the wheat/ gluten stuff and offer gluten-free substitutions for lil upcharges. Place has a good feel. I will be back a bunch for sure.
With a cozy Russian vibe and great ambiance, it’s a popular spot for big portions and refreshing cocktails, especially on weekends.

We met colleagues here, as they love the food - however, they aren't huge fans of the atmosphere when the accordion player is around. I will say that the musician never played at our table, thankfully - as it was SO loud, that you need not bother for the musician to come to your actual table; you can hear him across the entire restaurant. That said, we were leaving after enjoying our supper, and he was asking for tips as we left. When we didn't give him any money (he didn't play at our table), he was both rude and verbally abusive. What an inappropriate and sour way to exit a restaurant. He was standing at the door doing this to everyone who was leaving the place. The food is fine for those who have no gluten/lactose allergies. There are literally two items on the menu that were edible for those with gluten/dairy allergies. So I ate french fries. Pass on it. It's pricey and the musician was obnoxious. He should be fired. As a musician, I cannot justify the attitude given with the skill presented. Hard pass. Buy vodka drinks elsewhere.

Well, wasn't this the most delightful discovery ever?!?! We ditched our plans to go to downtown Mpls because it was too busy, decided to try Yumi Sushi in the lovely Cathedral Hill neighborhood of St. Paul, and I WAS BLOWN AWAY. As was everyone in our group. Here's the best part: if you are gluten free, like me, they have a section of the menu that spells out their gf items, and they readily offer gf versions of some of their sauces. The gluten-free offerings are abundant and there was no compromise on taste whatsoever. I got the Titanic roll and it was delicious. Here's where they really impressed me, though: we ordered the Crispy Rice Tuna appetizer, didn't specify gluten-free, but because I specified gf when ordering my sushi roll, they made adjustments to *one* of the pieces of crispy tuna to make it gluten-free - without me saying anything! So I got my gluten-free crispy tuna (which was so tasty), and the rest of the group didn't have to compromise on account of me. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful. Everything was presented beautifully, and it tasted as good (if not better) than it looked. There is no question that I will be back, and often.
