Don’t even think about it. Unless you are seeking revenge on someone, in which case you should recommend they order delivery from this place.
Found this place as “(Expletive) Gluten” on DoorDash. I figured out that the business behind that name was moonbowls, and chose to order directly from them so they’d hopefully get more money.
The first two times I ordered from them were kinda rough: Food tasted OK, portions were quite small, and orders were 30 minutes late.
I was foolish enough to order a third time.
When the order was 15 minutes late I checked their app and saw that the food hadn’t been picked up. I texted their “concierge” service, which assured me that the food was just waiting to be picked up.
30 minutes later I texted again. Silence. Tried to call, but their phone number is just a complicated menu where all options lead you back to texting them.
At the 2-hour mark I texted then again, only to learn that the order still hadn’t been picked up. They tried to shift blame, saying that they made the food on time but that their “delivery partner” (read: Uber Eats) was at fault. Whatever.
I cut my losses and took the refund. Will never get that 2 hours back.
You’ve been warned.
Enjoy a cozy spot for a quick lunch with top-notch bowls and excellent soups, but watch out for the plastic lids if dining in.

Super great to have a restaurant with clear gluten free labels, and to have certainty its allergen free. The food was ok, and could use a little more flavors. Portion sizes are large and it hit the spot for feeling full and satisfied, and still had leftovers.
A unique spot boasting a variety of healthy burgers and vegan options, perfect for casual hangouts or a quick bite.

The "Chicken tenders" are really chicken nuggets. While they are good and gluten-free, they are definitely NOT chicken tenders as they have listed on their menu. There is a BIG difference between Chicken Tenders and chicken nuggets. These are definitely nuggets.
Enjoy a unique twist on pizza with a delightfully crispy crust that stands out, and friendly vibes for a great hangout.

Great service and fantastic pizza! I also tried my husband’s gluten free pizza and it was one of the best I’ve ever tried. I would honestly have been happy to share with him which never happens! Would absolutely recommend Piz-zetta 10/10

Great food with a good selection of options (including those that are vegan or gluten free), comfortable seats and overall really nice cinema. Just beware that Alamo chain is very particular on late comers so they won’t let you in if you are late (so don’t be late! 😆).
Expect a bustling atmosphere and delicious options, but be ready for a bit of a wait and some cleanliness issues.

Lunch hour was busy and we waited 25 minutes for our food. It was a mess of people waiting for their order and people trying to find the line to place an order.
That said, the gluten-free hamburger (+$1) was really good, one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Good food but surprisingly slow service.
A vibrant spot with a fun self-serve vibe, offering excellent homemade juices and standout vegan options in a casual atmosphere.

This is the best... I mean BEST Spanish vegan food in nyc!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
They even have some gluten free options.
The sancocho is the closes I've had to my mommies and I'm comparing it to a colombian traditional sancocho.
Staff is super nice and accommodating.
So far been here twice
Love this place and come multiple times a week! Matcha latte is one of the best I’ve had in New York and love that they offer gluten free pastries. Owner is always friendly along with most staff!
Expect a bustling vibe with a lively takeout scene, but be ready to wait a bit longer than anticipated during peak hours.

Great food. They have many gluten free options! Quick, friendly service when dining in.
I attached a picture of what happens at the takeout window on busy nights. It's impossible to know what to do among the other hungry people and delivery drivers trying to pick up their orders. And this is after waiting the "65-75 minutes" quoted on their site during checkout! There must be a better way... 😩
Affordable lunch specials delight with bold flavors, spicy kick, and a satisfying atmosphere, perfect for a quick post-appointment bite.

Grilled chicken and chimichurri sauce were great. Everything was flavorful, the spicy things were actually spicy, and nothing was soggy. Not to mention the price - $10 lunch special really hit the spot after an appointment downtown.
Everything is gluten-free besides the tortillas (and I avoided the chips too because those can be sketchy). They were helpful when I asked about GF options and already change gloves between orders without being asked.
Known for its delicious and filling unique arepas, this spot offers a tasty experience that leaves diners satisfied and craving more.

I have celiac, and according to the person all but one arepa on the menu is gluten free. He didn’t seem super confident so I was a bit nervous, but I didn’t get sick! I would love if they labeled allergens/gluten free items on the menu to help diners with allergies feel more confident eating there (and to attract more gluten free customers!) I got a steak and cheese arepa and it was delicious and one was super filling! Great to have a solid gluten free option in DeKalb Market.
If you're parched and/or anywhere remotely near dumbo, get yourself to Randolph. The food is really good and they have great vegan options (cauliflower wings with vegan ranch! 🤯), but your burger-loving friends will be happy too (i.e. good for a mixed crowd). Veg and gluten free stuff is all marked on the menu (can every place do that?). The bartenders and servers are also super nice--none of that frantic and agro Manhattan bar scene energy, even on the weekends. Bonus: shuffleboard table!
Enjoy a fantastic variety of appetizers, pastas, and pizzas, plus a standout cocktail menu that enhances the dining experience!

Wow. This spot has the MEAL you are looking for. I am gluten free and I can still dine like a queen. My food-loving friends who can have all the pierogis swear by this place, we go all the time, and crave it when we can’t physically get there. Cannot wait for more locations to open up! GO.
Great flavors with a unique twist, but the fish could be a hit or miss depending on your taste.

The sauce and seasoning on OUR CHOICE is GLUTEN FREE GOODNESS! The fish was good, however, a little fatty. Not sure what type of fish they used … maybe tilapia (which I’m not fond of). If they used COD, holy cow I’d go back once a week! The slaw, rice and beans and fish GREAT FLAVOR. Totally on point, could just def go for a diff type of fish.

Soooo, before I begin, the 3 for atmosphere is because it is a strictly a take out spot, unless you are good to stand to eat. There are seats across the street provided by the Downtown Brooklyn Alliance, thank you! It is
clean and well worth the wait for a less expensive cheat day! I had the double cheeseburger, it was filling and drippy good! The flavor is nostalgic for me, reminding me of teen dates when your boy friend wanted to impress you and buy your meal, ladies! Lol Also, a gluten free option is available for sure at the 91 East 7th Street location as Loaded Fries. They have a dedicated fryer, not positive at other locations, but my Celiac daughter has eaten at other locations including this one and have not had any issue. Enjoy!
