A wide variety of gluten free options, the food was delicious and it’s attached to a cool book store you can check out while you wait because like all good places, it’s busy.
This cozy spot boasts a vibrant atmosphere with unique dishes bursting with flavor, perfect for a fun night out with friends.

Zhug oozes warmth and class, and is probably my favorite of Doug Katz's restaurant ventures. Like his other recent restaurants, it's best enjoyed as a tapas adventure with friends. Unlike his other ventures, they unfortunately are too cool for reservations. There's usually a couple spots open at the bar for the taking, but come with any more than 4 people and your wait on a busy night may be upwards of an hour. If you're lucky, you can find street parking in front on Cedar (free since COVID days), or park in the old Dave's grocery lot across the street (also free).
The dim lighting allows candlelight, plush pillows, and verdant greenery to dominate the atmosphere. The staff are entirely the opposite of the standoffish lot you might imagine would work here - every person we've encountered has been friendly and incredibly accommodating. Also accommodating is the menu, which is vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan friendly. Although they do have high chairs and children are welcome, it's not an ideal place to bring little rowdy ones since there's quite a bit of glassware and candles, not to mention tight quarters. Two gender-neutral bathrooms are located at the back and kept in orderly condition.
Be prepared to get lost in the sauce, because there are a lot of sauces and dips. A satisfying order usually consists of about 2-3 dishes per person. The usual culprits on our group's order are the Nigella Seed and Burnt Onion Hummus - paired with the complimentary pita bread, and a little dollop of their complimentary zhug (a spicy green Yemeni sauce), this provides a cozy foundation for your stomach as you await the rest of the food. Cauliflower, Roasted Carrots, and Potato Tostones are other delightful, textured bites to get your fiber in and fill up. Protein wise, I'm a huge fan of the Crispy Chicken and its brightly seasoned dipping sauce, as well as the Warm White Beans (more pleasurable than the plain name would suggest) and plump Butter Roasted Shrimp.
Their wine and cocktail menu is tastefully curated, but I've actually never made it to the desserts since we're usually so stuffed after the savory dishes.
A charming spot with a lively atmosphere, offering a diverse menu that caters to various diets and features cozy indoor and outdoor seating.

I love Luna. They're something for everyone, while still maintaining a simple menu. I like their crêpes, the savory ones in particular, which are served with a really taste quinoa salad side. Their batter makes fluffy crêpes.
Their baked good are consistently good and offer a nice selection. The Lemon Zucchini loaf is among my favorites and you can even have them made gluten free (special order). I also really enjoy their season/ themed frosted sugar cookies, croissants, and vegan cookies and brownie bars.
I've catered with Luna many times and they're always perfect. It's very easy to work with their catering manager, Erin. See responsive, organized, and very helpful. They do a fine job with quality (even hot foods) and presentation.
They're my go-to breakfast caterer in town.
My only qualm is parking. But, it's not their fault.
Sometimes it gets busy and you end up needing to find parking outside of their lot/ right in front metered.
I strongly encourage you to try Luna. You'll keep coming back.

Great pizza (and decent gluten free pizza) along with some respectable beer and wine choices. The service is attentive. Ambience is casual with both tables and booths and good lighting.

Came from out of town due to husband needing surgery at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. We were in search of Mediterranean food, cuisine that is HARD to find in our home state. I needed gluten free, they had it, husband wanted something light and nutritious before surgery day, they had it. We were greeted by the assistant manager, super welcoming and friendly. Our server was great, above all the food was SO FLAVORFUL. We highly recommend this restaurant!
Such an adorable place! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was delicious! Definitely recommend. It was a little too cold when we were there to sit outside, but they had a great patio area as well. Very gluten free friendly too.

Love it here. Such a cool neighborhood place. They love the neighbors and are super cool. Any coffee shop that plays slow dive and screaming trees is worth visiting. Coffee is great and the bakery is excellent if you are gluten free. A gem on Coventry. Check the hours before going
Great establishment! Great sushi and the waitress was so caring in making sure that my order was completely gluten-free when I mentioned it. Will definitely go again!

I have never been disappointed with the food here. I've brought several friends and family members who are surprised how much they enjoy Ethiopian food. If you've never tried it, know that it's traditional to eat the food by scooping it up with the delicious and spongy injera bread (they offer a gluten-free version) it is served with. But they'll be happy to provide silverware if you prefer that. The environment is very casual and usually relaxing. There are plenty of vegan optiobs. Service has always been friendly. I hope to go for the traditional coffee ceremony one day. Do yourself a favor and give Zoma a try! I bet it won't be the last time!
Expect a cozy vibe with fresh flavors, though be ready to order sides separately and potentially wait a bit during busy times.

They were having a rough night because they were down staff; however, they were very apologetic about the delay. The food was fresh. It could have been spicier. And you do need to order rice separately as it doesn’t come with your entree. We both had Chicken Tikka Masala. Indian is usually a good option for those needing to eat gluten free, and the man taking our order was knowledgeable.
Everything from the precisely spiraled lemon twists in our cocktails to the perfect ratio of custard to caramelized sugar in our Crème brûlée was superb. Service was fabulous and they were able to accommodate the gluten allergy in our party. The mussels had a unique tomato broth we couldn't stop sopping. I don't know how they made it and I don't want to. It would ruin there magic. The Lamb was fantastic and the lasagna was highly cheesey and delicious. Make sure you have a reservation or her there early because it does fill up fast.
A wide and tasty selection of breads. I recommend asking for the sandwich sized loaf of you like larger slices. They also have some gluten free deserts, the chocolate cloud is awesome!
Vibrant atmosphere with attentive service that keeps the energy high—definitely a place worth returning to!

Food was great! The atmosphere was rockin' and Malcom our server on top of everything . Even running back and forth to the kitchen to make sure my girl didn't get sick. (gluten- allergy) 100% coming on back again.

Ordered takeout via their website. I requested gluten free due to an intolerance, and they called to let me know that unfortunately they are unable to make their curries gluten free and to offer a replacement (most noodle and rice dishes can be made gluten free!). I appreciated the option to replace the curry I had ordered rather than just having it canceled. My husband had the beef pad Thai. I had the pad kee mao and basil fried rice, both with tofu and gluten free. Everything was delicious. Medium spice had a decent kick (from someone who likes some spice). I assume they had to leave out the soy sauce on my gf dishes, so I did pop on some gf tamari before eating for extra flavor. A little pricier than our other go-to Thai place in Cleveland Heights but will definitely be a repeat customer.
A spot known for its tasty dishes and willingness to accommodate special dietary needs with creative substitutions.

We are gluten free and corn free too and they were about to accommodate us with substitutions and modifications. They even went out of their way to do so. Their food is also so tasty and amazing. Would definitely recommend

My family and I came in for the first time and we did have a little issue with my food coming out later than the rest of my families food which was ok but I did state to our server Ariana that I had a gluten allergy who seemed to communicate with kitchen of that but I still received food that I was unable to eat due to the sauce but Ariana went the extra mile and made sure to have my food remade and also brought me out a delicious house salad while I waited free of charge . I really appreciated that I made sure to let the manager know as well that my needs were met thanks to her. Overall my family and I had a good time
Great place for delicious kebabs. Gluten Free friendly. Definitely make sure to talk to the head chef/owner. He's walking around the restaurant talking to the guests, super friendly guy who does a great job making accommodations for each guest.

First time in the resturant.
It's a build your own. First impression- the employees enjoy their work. I saw smiling faces and the first person I encountered was polite, nice, and smiling.
Portion sizes were big.
I did get a bowl and it was more than enough for me.
The ingredients were fresh. I do like the topping bar off to the side. Grabbed two salsas and they were good.
Vegan options available. I am gluten free (sensitive nor celiac) I did not react which is a huge plus- did get a tofu as protein and loaded with veggies, beans, and white rice- vinegarette for sauce.
Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed our dinner.
Overall, I will visit again as this experience was pleasant- first impressions matter.
