What an awesome spot- love the inner design uniqueness woody theme, the type of place you could spend hours. Coffee is banging, unique in flavor and can get a bottomless cup. I am gluten-free & there are many options which do not taste gluten-free, in that the texture is right and will bring you back in. I love this spot/ highly recommend, the staff is genuinely polite, and even allows dogs.

Excellent artisanal pizza, including gluten/free options. Dined in “the Yard” down by the river along with lots of other families listening to live music while their kids played on a Saturday evening. Very enjoyable.

It was GREAT. I had the 10" gluten free crust with garlic herb butter sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms and goat cheese. You can text your order ahead and it will be ready when you get there

This is the Italian Restaurant that we take out-of-town guests to. The pizza dough is great. The Chicken Marsala is my favorite. When I'm in a spaghetti mood I get their meatsauce. They also have Gluten-free Noodles (I get those when I'm pretending to limit Carbs). The Limoncello cake is FANTASTIC! Even though they bring fresh bread out, I order the Garlic Bread. I also enjoy the sausage slices (appetizer). They have a house dressing that I really enjoy on their salad (Red Vinaigrette base?).

Great BBQ and sauces. Really enjoyed the brisket and ribs. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful about dietary restrictions, such as changing out gloves, the cutting board, and knife when needed. The original BBQ sauce, original sausage, and chopped brisket (in sauce) are *not* gluten free but there are many safe options for those with gluten intolerance / celiac.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Bastrop. Doordash completely mucked up my order. And their driver after picking it up, took an hour to get to my house which is only ten minutes away. When the food arrived, it was cold and my tea was watery. Due to the fact that the ice had completely melted. The owner went out of his way to bring me fresh food, to make up for the driver's deficit. Their food is delicious and fresh. And they have an incredible amount of options to choose from. They also happen to be gluten friendly. Next time I will go eat at the restaurant instead of using a delivery service.. Their customer service and wait staff are beyond reproach. And their food is absolutely delicious.

Simply Sweet is simply the best! 😊 And Friyays are even batter, because they include gluten free options. Today’s gf-option was a “pecan pie” cupcake. Loved it! And I’ll tell you now, you should go ahead and buy 2, cause no one can eat just one. Service and location are also great, but really, it’s about the cake!!!

We’ve lived in Bastrop for two years and had never eaten here. Sandwiches are not my favorite thing to eat out and also I can’t eat gluten. We were walking in Downtown last week and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did because it was fantastic!! I had the turkey and havarti on gluten free bread, and it was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten! The turkey was great and paired well with the Havarti. The greens on the sandwich were fresh and are tossed in their house made vinaigrette. They put sprouts on it and I love sprouts. I had them add Dijon mustard along with the herb mayonnaise, and all of the flavors combined so well. Gluten-free bread is not always great, but theirs was and it was toasted to boot. Yummy! 😋 My cousin had their egg salad sandwich and my husband chose their turkey reuben. Everyone loved it. We will definitely be back! In fact, leaving this review makes me think I might head there now before they close. 😆

The food was well made and oh so tasty. I had grits pork chop and scramble eggs. And they had gluten free toast. The coffee was excellent- I drink decaf and it was robust and really flavorful without bitterness.

This is definitely a food truck to try. It takes time for her to prepare the delicious food. Good things come to those that wait. It is not fast food. I love Ethiopian food and this place is closer to my house than the North Austin options. Limited menu but great food! I got the healthy veggie plates and it was only 10! In todays expensive world that was a good deal! Also you must try the flat bread if you have any gluten issues as it is gluten free made out of Teff flour!

Decent service. Delicious food. Got the Green Chili Pork Chicken dinner and it was outstanding. Added jalapeño ranch to the side salad that came with it and the chicken. The chicken dinner was gluten friendly. Arnold Palmer was also a highlight. Good iced tea and lemonade.

Super decadent cookies. We had the Austin, the fairly gay, and a gluten free chocolate chip. All of them unanimously delicious! The Nutella croissant will blow your mind.

What a cute establishment! They are located right off the highway in a little corner. Don't let that fool you, they have really tasty coffee and excellent service. They have gluten free pastry options that look absolutely delicious. They also have a lot of merchandise that is really neat. I highly suggest making the trip down the road and supporting this business.

Great service. Friendly and welcome with a smile. Can you imagine that little old Bastrop Texas has some of the best sushi around! Seriously this place could compete with the finest sushi chefs from nearby Austin! Fresh and very tasty! Gluten free options available too! For sushi, this place is actually very reasonably priced too.

Small coffee shop inside of The Merc on Main. They are wonderful! Gluten free options for pastries are available. They really like to make sure your drink is exactly what you want! They have a lot of syrups and milk options! I highly recommend!
