My husband and I absolutely loved out visit here. We were in town for the weekend and needed a quick bite to eat. I have several food intolerances and am non celiac gluten sensitivitie, so finding food while out and about can be hard. This place was able to help with that as they are gluten free and very accommodating with any other food issues you may have. I had the smoked chicken box (which was rice, then smoked chicken on top of that and then a layer of slaw. My husband had the brisket box.(rice layer then brisket and pickles on top of that, then a layer of slaw) Both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The customer service was spot on. The only thing we were sad about it there isn't one in the town where we live. So next time we make our way back up to waco, this place will definitely be on our list of places to eat at.
Indulge in uniquely delightful treats, from moist cinnamon rolls to decadent scones, served up in a charming food truck atmosphere.

My husband and I stopped here as it has gluten-free options. I got the scone combo box, which included a large scone, baby scone, and I added a kolache for extra charge. All of which was gluten-free. So I was super excited about that as I'm NCGS. The mini scone, which I got orange cranberry, was amazing. The large scone was bacon cheddar. That one, I didn't care for too much as it was too thick for my liking. The kolache was small but very tasty. My husband got 2 regular kolaches(not gluten-free) he really liked their flavor, but they were small. It's a mom and pop kind of shop so that was cool. Wouldn't mind if I was back in the area going and trying their gluten free cupcakes or cookies.

For me this place checked every box Sophia was super friendly and energetic. The cook was super apologetic when she accidentally forgot the veggies. The food was really good, I haven't found a place like this in a long time living in Texas. Meat was tender and juicy 😋 Great place if you're a celiac like I am

Very good food for reasonable prices. The biggest pancakes you've ever seen! Seriously, they're the size of the plate. And they can make them gluten-free. Nice atmosphere & a friendly, competent staff.
Freshly made and bursting with flavor, this charming food truck offers delightful eats that keep fans coming back for more, despite busy weekends.

I absolutely loved my order of chicken and waffles. My waffle was perfectly cooked. The breading on the chicken tenderloin was perfectly seasoned and not salty. The fresh strawberries were sweet and really added to my enjoyment. I appreciate the organic and gluten-free ingredients. It's definitely a must on my next trip to Waco, TX. Last but not least, the owner was an absolute joy!
With a cozy vibe, this spot is a must-visit for delicious fresh options and unique baked goods that keep everyone coming back for more!

I’m so glad I stopped by here while driving through! My son is dairy and gluten-free and there were several options for him! He loved the sausage (he asked for a second) and the cookie. I had the berry salad and added chicken, bacon, and avocado and I also ate his gluten-free pancake that was SO good. I’m not a big pancake person but I might come back just for the pancakes with their special coconut whipped cream and syrup. Next time I’m driving through I hope I time it right to stop by!

We were on our way out of town and wanted something that I was able to eat while traveling due to having celiac. This place was so good and knowledgeable to what was safe for me to eat.
They were so careful and the food and service was amazing.

The pizza is absolutely delicious and I'm beyond grateful for their inclusion of gluten free and vegan options. The service has for the most part been friendly, but there have been two instances where it was pretty disappointing.
The first instance occurred when my mom called and made a reservation for homecoming weekend. The reservation was lost and while they were trying to figure it out (shout out to the wait staff who were so kind and humble with the situation), the owner came out and said, "you mean to tell me you're walking in at 6:00 on homecoming trying to get a table for eight?" To which my mom replied that is why we made the reservation. His staff was very helpful in sorting the situation out, but as the conversation continued the owner remained snarky. The service took a long time, but again, it was homecoming weekend and we had a large group, so that is very understandable.
The second instance was an issue with pricing. I asked the waitress how much extra gluten free crust cost. She was beyond sweet and said, "Oh it doesn't cost extra!" I then asked if cheese counted as the one complimentary topping to which she responded, "no, you get another topping in addition to cheese. No extra charge." When I got the check I ended up paying 10 more dollars than I expected. I was charged both for the gluten free crust and the cheese. I brought it up to the waitress, not to argue the charge, but to let her know in case someone else asked in the future. She was so so sweet and they gave me $5 back in cash, however I was still disappointed with the miscommunication.
The pizza is delicious, the waitstaff is kind, but these two experiences make it seem that the establishment struggles with organization and communication.
Experience a lively atmosphere with top-notch service and exceptional offerings, making every visit memorable and enjoyable.

This place is very clean and our waitress Peyton was super knowledgeable when it came to our son’s dietary needs of gluten free. She went above and beyond and honestly the best waitress we’ve ever had. She also had a great smile ! She seems happy to be here and I love That.

This was my first time eating at Mod Pizza, and it was awesome! They have a gluten-free option! This place is perfect for those who like lots of toppings, as you only need to pay for the crust, then you can add whatever toppings you want on your pizza. You can also get dipping sauce or have sauce drizzled on the pizza. The food was great, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the employees were kind and worked fast. Overall, a great experience. I plan to come again! 😁

It's a lovely little bakery, with very friendly service, but the cookies did not live up to the hype. My friend and I ordered the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Gluten Free Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla Bean Shortbread cookies. They were all horrible. The chocolate chip cookies were grainy and the taste did not represent the name of the cookies at all. The shortbread cookie was so dry, it just crumbled when I broke a piece off. When I put it in my mouth, I couldn't get water fast enough. It was like eating sawdust.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and decided to stop at this very nice local place! I have dietary restrictions (gluten & dairy free) and Richard and Devon made it all possible by customizing my meal so I was able to enjoy every delicious bite! Truly some of the best service Ive received! Thank you Olive Branch! Will be eating here again
I am gluten intolerant, so I asked if they have gluten free tortillas. They don't, but the whole line sprang into action! They served my bowl with fresh utensils to avoid any cross contamination. I appreciate the additional effort to keep me well!

If you are looking for great BBQ in casual setting do not miss Terry Black's. I was not expecting its almost fast food style service where you select your sides (single, pint or larger servings), then meat by the pound (sold in 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, or pound servings. We had the brisket, plain sausage and pork ribs. All outstanding. Melt in your mouth brisket. The potato salad and coleslaw slaw are both vegan and gluten free for anyone avoiding those. Great green beans too. I missed that they dont offer collard greens. Corn bread was great too. Highly recommend for a relaxed casual lunch or dinner. The guy by the smoker even offered to take out picture by the sign and next to the smokers and to give us a quick tour of the smokers.

This place is really amazing! The service was top tier! They have gluten free options, I was able to get an Appetizer, Meal, and Dessert. The Whipped Ricotta with Gluten-free chips was very good, the Americano Pizza with Gluten-free crust was even better, and Oh my goodness the Gluten-free Torte was to die for. Highly recommend!
Expect a lively atmosphere where a wide variety of delicious pizzas and unique crust options consistently impress visitors.

My family has been getting gluten-free pizza here for a few years. The cost is around $20, but until now the size was ok. While the price has stayed the same, the pizza has shrunk to 1/2 the size it was.
The quality isn't great, but GF crust is hard to perfect, however we can buy the same quality at Wal-Mart for much less with this one. Bummer.
We've dined in once, weren't thrilled with the service or atmosphere, but I really feel that speaks more of the owners than the staff. I think the staff does try to be accommodating but it's just a depressing place.
Enjoy a great meal with a newly added special menu section that makes ordering a breeze and offers an enthusiastic vibe.

Always an enjoyable meal but our most recent experience was especially great. As of our most recent visit, they’ve added a gluten free section to their menu! Made ordering a breeze. Angel, our server, was knowledgeable about any allergens/ recommendations and enthusiastic about all things Clay Pot. It was a delight to interact with her and she heightened an already solid experience!
Expect a cozy vibe and rave-worthy homemade dishes that keep diners coming back for more.

They were able to make the Quesadilla Burger Gluten-Free. They are very careful about allergies. I’m already in love with this place.
And I’m about to try their GLUTEN-FREE Blueberry Pie!
A unique concept shines in a spacious study spot with exceptional coffee and a relaxing vibe, making it a perfect hangout for students and coffee lovers.
I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten-free bun. . it took 15 minutes to get food, but they forgot the bun. They said they were heating it and would bring it to me. 10 minutes later, no bun. I went to the counter and asked about the bun. I was told it would be an extra 20 minutes. I asked for my money back for bun. 3 minutes later the gave bun but it was still frozen in the middle. I recommend drive through only. They can't customer dining room. Poor customer service.

Absolutely LOVED the care taken to pack my food being gluten free/celiac! Changed their gloves without being asked and handled my food with such care! God the baked potato with brisket and it was so delicious! Thank you for a wonderful meal and service!!!
I didn’t get anything this time as I was already full, but my gluten free wife loved the numerous GF options. She will be back, and next time I’ll arrive hungry.

It was all about Ms. Rita Joy. She and I spent a lot of time here with her family and friends and just us. I return to celebrate her life... time after time... it is one of my traditions. Her spirit is attached around town, and I visit where she still resonates.
I seek to celebrate such a remarkable friend the rest of my life following what she mentored me to navigate against. She was a true friend who, until she died, loved me and taught me the things, only a mother could teach, which I believe is what I've needed the most in my life. My mother died at 39. For this, I will celebrate the one who taught me how to love myself because I am worth love. She taught me so much, and yes, she knew my Father, George Oscar Houseman Sr. My beloved father. They coriografered many of Waco Civic Theater dance routines here in Waco, Texas, many many many years ago. God bless all the hard work, anyone that knows me... it took. I have a family disease from my mother's side... Celiac Sprue disease. Ms. Rita totally understood. For this, I will always be glad to know someone who loved my daddy and me!
So when you see me there, understand these people, I totally understand...me.
God bless that Centra Texas has been my home since 7th grade, Robinson, Texas. We landed here after we left the island. For this, I praise the Lord, my Jesus Christ. I am safe and sound to bring in one more year. May 2024 be an eye opener for those who do not believe "Only God is the Victor, never the devil, he lies!" So hold on to what you believe. God is our only salvation!
Wake up.
It's time to go to Lonehorn Steakhouse, where the Holy Spirit lives among us. Thanks Ms.Rita❣️

Sisters Adventure Day and it was a google search that lead us to a restaurant with gluten free menu (which I needed) a glass of the best rosé (Chloe) we toasted with and the most amazing lunch we could have asked for. The salmon was perfectly cooked and everything was seasoned to perfection. We both agreed that the chefs cooked with their hearts. Cheers to a wonderful staff!
