We come here regularly for scones and tea, have been for twenty years, but I just wanted to write a review in particular for our afternoon tea we had a couple of weeks ago. The service and presentation were lovely, and their gluten free cream tea is really excellent (sometimes the gluten free scones are a bit tough, sometimes they’re soft and fluffy). The personnel were very good with our requests, and we enjoyed our afternoon tea on the plush green couches in the living room. Thank you!

Extremely popular cafe with a varied menu but I did ask for a specific salad which was gluten and meat free, very accommodating. Suggest they take orders and payment at the till at the same time as customers were leaving as hot drinks took too long to arrive and table service was slow as more staff needed. My prawn salad and chai latter was very good.

A great place to go for Gluten- Free fish and chips - one of the few places in Suffolk that do them.
Except that as from Apr 2025 they no longer offer them! A wasted journey and a big disappointment.
