I placed an online order for pick up this morning for a variety of gluten-free free bagels. After waiting several minutes, I was told they only had plain even though the selection online was for 4 different flavors. I asked to cancel the order since they did not have what I ordered, essentially wasting my time by driving there. I was told the manager would issue a refund. A short time after, I received a text with a link for the refund less the tip amount. I tried calling several times, but conveniently, no associates were available to take a call. How can you possibly justify keeping tip money for absolutely no goods or services provided and wasting my time because you accepted an order you could not fill. I will never order from this place again. Very poor business ethics.

I wanted to like this place so badly. The waitress was so rude from the moment we walked in. But I tried to brush it off and asked about the gluten-free bread if its cooked separately, then the bread that contains wheat. She said no, so then I tried to educate her, saying once gluten-free bread touches yeast, it is no longer gluten-free, and she proceeded to say the bread is gluten-free she is sorry that she can't control whats in the air. As I tried to explain to her its not about what's in the air its what touches the bread or cross contaminated. I litterly stood up and walked out. She was so rude and will never come back or suggest this place. I SUGGEST TO EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEES WHAT GLUTEN-FREE OR NOT GLUTEN-FREE IS Especially if you offer gluten-free options. If you work in a restaurant you should know that gluten-free isnt something new.

The food at Oreganos is very good! I have gone to about three different restaurants around the Phoenix, Mesa, and Scottsdale area and all are delicious! I order the gluten free pizza and it doesn’t disappoint. This time my husband got a pasta meal with chicken and my son got a meat pizza. I would def return when we are back in the area. I came here on the recommendation of my fellow celiac. She said the gluten free waffles are great & she has never had issues. I came here on 2/13 with family & asked about the GF waffles. The server said that it would be a wait since they have one waffle maker & it gets cleaned for a gluten free waffle order. I said fantastic. No issues waiting.
All of our food came out very quickly, including the GF waffle. I mentioned how quick it was & was told that very few waffles had been made that morning so it was quick to do the order.
Everyone enjoyed their food, & the service was good. When we were walking out, I started having pain & had to rush home due to gluten contamination. I now doubt they cleaned the waffle maker.
So a warning to those with celiac disease- be wary of getting the waffles.
