I ate here for the first time and was really impressed by the staff and the owner. Everyone was super friendly and kind. The food was amazing, it was nice being able to eat some fried foods as they have gluten free options which most resturants don't offer. The atmosphere was very laid back and peaceful. Definitely will eat here again and enjoyed it immensely.. Highly recommend this establishment!!

I've never had anything gluten free that tasted edible. I bought a piece of strawberry cake and didn't see til I got home that it was GF. When I tell you it was the best dang piece of cake I've ever had - it's 100% the truth. The lions mane wings were delish too, but that cake made me write this review b/c it was too good to be overlooked. Staff was friendly too. If I come back to Memphis this place will see me again.

We went for Mother’s Day and took our kiddos! They have kid friendly drinks and amazing drinks with alcohol. Service was amazing and food came out super fast. My wife is Gluten free and the menu was labeled with GF choices. Atmosphere was family friendly and date night acceptable.

The food was amazing! Delicious Gluten Free and cauliflower pizza. Good service and would definitely return. Sadly if you want extra dressing for your salad, or a veggie added to your salad like onions; it does come with an up charge.

Wow, that's all I can say. We originally found them on Facebook on a reel. We drove for more than two hours, with this being one of our main stops. Pete was a great time talking with! My wife, originally being from St. Louis was not expecting him to be so kind and outgoing. So, onto the cheese cake! Myself, I had an almond joy! It was amazing, not the taste I had expected, but it was heavenly! My wife, having a gluten allergy, was able to also enjoy a kumquat cheesecake she absolutely loved it. I also had a cookie that was also just as amazing! Please do yourself a favor try this amazing place! Talk with Pete if you have any questions. He graciously answered our questions.

Always have great selections and prices. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian/gluten or any other selections for those with dietary restrictions. The staff is awesome and always friendly and willing to help.

Our first time in Memphis and we lived this place. We were greeted immediately by the staff, given a thorough rundown of the menu items with recommendations. We chose the Texas trio - ribs, brisket, and sausage. All 3 were outstanding. The mac and cheese was different, but really good. The Texas twinkie was a solid classic, and the cole slaw was cole slaw. If we ever make it back to Memphis, we'll be back to Bains. We had a gluten free member with us and she had zero issues.

This little place is a gem. I was going to have the gluten free fried chicken, Wednesday special but we got there at 8pm and they were sold out. Our waiter suggested another dish, pork tenderloin. It was amazing! The combination of flavors was a delight because it was stuffed and wrapped in bacon, sitting on a bed of polenta with avocado etc. Truly wonderful for my taste buds. My husband had a burger and he said it was okay. So it’s better to order something that the chef can create with. Their menu doesn’t describe enough what goes into the dishes so ask. Also we shared (the pic shows half) the watermelon salad. Again a very creative combination of flavors that was delightful. I feel like they picked the best part of the watermelon to make it, (the center) in order for it to be perfect. The food was well worth the price as I don’t mind spending money on food that is excellent. The one down side is the incredible noise as the room was full of loud joyous people. I think they were so full of joy because of the food. I will definitely tolerate this noise to get this food! And last but not least, the service was excellent.

I’m titling this one of the worst anniversary experiences we’ve probably ever had in 22 years. I will keep it short. To start the valet is not covered between the restaurant and where you drop off. It was raining and we got soaked going into the restaurant. Also, the signage is small for the restaurant and valet, we had to call to find both. Next, my wife is gluten free( gluten intolerance that makes her super sick) she stated this on the reservation and to the server when she asked for a gluten free menu. This did not happen, the wrong food, that looked similar to what she ordered( we thought) and was told by the expo was her food was delivered. We did not find out until she was 3/4 the way complete with the meal. The server and manager were great and super apologetic but this is bad. My wife has not touched gluten in 6+ years, she is now in the restroom and will be there the remainder of the night. This is not a good look for a super expensive restaurant. I have to say my food was excellent, the reason I paid for it. Best pasta, I have probably ever had. Anyways food is good despite the circumstance. Last, the valet, we give the ticket to the server to get the car. After 10 minutes or so we go to the stand to get it. The valet standing there says I’m on my way to get it. We wait another 20 mins and still no one has come back. At this point we are worried. We finally see the other valet who tells us that the guy has lost our fob and is looking for it. The guy who lost the fob finally comes back and admits this to us. Don’t forget it is still pouring down rain. I go with no umbrella to retrace his footsteps. Needless to say in the half mile between the lot they park the cars and the restaurant we do not find it. Long story short, we have friends on the way to bring us another key, and I happen to find it using the flashlight I have after an hour and a half search. The owner of the valet service was spoken with and was planning to buy a new fob, but just know if you valet here that they park your car in a gravel parking lot that is unattended a half mile from the restaurant. The car is dirty and again a half mile from the restaurant. To end I will probably order pasta Togo sometime, but will probably never be back. Also, the atmosphere was kind of boring, definitely not a magical night.

I had a wonderful dinner here with 7 other adults + a toddler! The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. I cannot eat gluten and our waiter was able to advise me on what I could and could not have, as well as informed the kitchen staff. The redfish was delicious and I highly recommend! The food and drinks arrived promptly.

This is my favorite place to eat in Memphis! Every time I pass through on a roadtrip this place is a MUST. They are so friendly and the food is delicious. There’s gluten free fried catfish and shrimp which is my go to. It’s close to the river and downtown, super easy to get to. There’s something special about this place and it’s worth a stop in!

My dining companion and I had a lovely dinner at Paulette's before going to the Orpheum. The service was really top notch and our view from our table looking out at the river at sunset was lovely. For food – the shrimp and pasta dish. (She asked for extra shrimp - no fish) then I had the pork tenderloin. In order to make sure I did not get gluten, I did not have any sauce with my pork tenderloin. I'm sure it would've been top-notch that I've been able to eat it. Well, it was quite good and the tenderloin tasty, it was disappointing, not to be able to have any sauce. It was also disappointing that they had no dessert that a celiac could have., but my dining companion got my old favorite(back when I was eating wheat flour) the strawberry crêpe, and I think she fell in love. All in all, highly recommended. I want to go back for brunch soon.
