Love City O’ City, been coming here for over 15 years. The food is top notch, service is great, and we beat the morning brunch rush by arriving at 10 o’clock on a Saturday. Met a dear friend there for our last breakfast before she moved out of state. Nice to know this place is still doing well. Had the chicken and waffles…it was delicious and gluten-free.
A lively happy hour destination with an impressive range of options and fantastic cocktails that perfectly complement your experience.

Great spot for happy hour! And lots of options too. If you’re gluten free - ask for their separate gluten free menu (love to see it!)
We did the Sunday all day happy hour and were so excited to try a few new things. It’s still pricey but worth it ☺️
Chill neighborhood spot with cozy vibes, unique drinks, and a menu packed with creative vegetarian options and fun events.

I have been coming here for years and absolutely love the community. Delicious food, gluten free donuts, and so many drink options that I can hardly ever just pick one. The rotating juices and mushroom cacao are my current go-to’s
I never thought I could get so attached to a grocery store. I cannot eat gluten and NG has the most options out of any store in the US. I also love that they vet their products for quality; saves me so much time on research. Please come to the northeast!!!
A lively spot with an impressive beer selection and top-notch happy hour deals, but could use a cheerier bar ambiance.

Let me share the good stuff first. The staff is very hard working. The hostess greeted us immediately and was friendly. The food looked good and tasted ok to great. There was a bathroom. We were excited to go bc the one in our area shut down. They have a nice drink selection. The non-alcoholic beverages were great. The service was strong. Now on to the story.
We were told the wait would be 10-15 minutes, and we could wait at the bar or upstairs. We sat at the bar, but the overworked bar tender told us we could not for drinks as not everyone was 21. OK. Outside it is. After about 30-40 minute wait our table was ready.
Why was there a wait? Well, the hostess was our server and the one cleaning the tables. They were understaffed. No worries, it happens. There was only one bartender, so drinks would be slow. The food would be a bit to get there, which makes sense given staffing.
The food looked good. The meatball sub was bland and a little overcooked. Tots were mushy. Neither teenager liked their pizza. The gluten-free pizza looked good and tasted good. However, shortly after, 3 out of 4 were not feeling well. I am not sure if it was the pear cider or the GF pizza, but I had a bad reaction after it. This would be a gluten reaction that is painful and takes a long while to recover. This was around a 2 hour affair, not including wait time. One more thing, just like a lot of places, the prices are much much higher than before. But not abnormal for the area.
I really hope the place turns around and everyone has a better food experience than us. I am sorry to leave a poor review. I normally do not leave reviews like this.
This vibrant spot boasts an extensive sandwich menu, a fun patio atmosphere, and an entertaining vibe with South Park playing.

We loved the place! The sandwiches are exceptional, from the tasty bread to the juicy meat to the sauce, everything fits perfectly! The staff is friendly and helpful. Best of all, there is great gluten free bread, best we have tasted!

Even though the service was just OK and a bit slow, the food was amazing!
Ceviche had tons of lime and just enough spice level. I wish it came with avocado.
The chilaquiles were crunchy (as they should) and the eggs runny but well cooked on the outside.
The tacos de carnitas were good too, the meat was tender and tasted great.
All three plates gluten free!
Price is also fair.
Kudos to the chef!
A local gem with amazing vegan and vegetarian dishes, plus mouthwatering tofu spring rolls and pho that keep people coming back for more.

Anise is one of my absolute favorite restaurants here in Denver as a vegan who also eats gluten free. I get the tofu spring rolls every time (the sauce it comes with is RIDICULOUSLY good), and either the vegan tofu pho or the tofu special which comes with rice noodles, a bunch of greens including scallions and cilantro, and of course delicious fried tofu. I get take out from this place usually at least once every two weeks. It is truly my comfort food.
A place where Thai delicacies have unmatched flavors that impress, along with an unusual option of tented street seating; just watch that spice level!
