I adored everything about this place. I arrived around 9:45am and there was a bit of a line in total I waited about 25 minutes to get inside. It is helpful to look at the menus while in line and know what you want once inside the bake shop. I had the strawberry rhubarb croissant a French toast flavored ice coffee and a macaroon and ginger and molasses cookie to go. The croissant and coffee were delicious and flavorful and were perfect for my walk around town. The inside of the establishment is clean and well decorated the staff are extremely friendly and pack everything beautifully. Later in the day I had my cookies and they were flavorful the ginger and molasses was listed as gluten friendly. This is a must try place if in mystic. I wanted to see the rooftop but it was closed for a private event.

Saw this on a list of best coffee in CT so I stopped in on my way to Boston. I loved the vanilla latte, but the sandwich truly blew me away. I ordered a chipotle breakfast sandwich and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. I loved the bread-it almost melted off the sandwich in the best way. The sandwich was well constructed and flavor profile was simply perfect, the cheese keeping the bacon well in tact. I also ordered a raspberry oatmeal bar and blueberry coffee cake at the suggestion of staff, which were great as well. They had a large selection of gluten free baked goods. The cafe is so cute and has tables inside and outside as well as a few couches inside. I’ll definitely be back!

Used to frequent the wood-n-tap in Milford/Orange area. Loved that place, the food was always good & the atmosphere was great too. This was not that.
Although our waiter was very friendly. The food wasn't great. My wife has celiacs, & they had gluten free buns apparently. The waiter mentioned he knew about cross contamination, but I think the cook staff didn't. My wife got very sick shortly after eating here. We had a party of 5, the other couple weren't very happy with their food either. 2 of us got some breaded chicken sandwich. I don't recommend it. It looked like it was breaded & fried several times over before they put it on a sandwich. I hope this location doesn't represent all of the locations. If so, I do not recommend coming here. Hopefully this was a 1 time event. Try if your feeling adventurous. We will not be coming back.

What an AMAZING find! The family and I were up this way for a tour of Oakridge Dairy and this place was recommended by the dairy guide. I am so glad we stopped in. We travel over an hour and a half (one way) to eat here. I’m Italian and GF and this food is amazing! My daughters are GF too and we all love this place! We have tried the entire menu and love everything. The chicken parm is the best I’ve ever had, you can’t even tell it’s GF and my daughters love the chicken Alfredo. The marinara sauce is so fresh you can’t even tell taste it. The staff is always excellent too. Parking lot is across the street from the Olde Mistick shops and Mystic Aquarium near the highway.

I love going to Love Heart's! It's a small business that feels like a family. They put a lot of care and, yes, love into their food. Lots of gluten free and allergen free options. I’m so thrilled to have Ethiopian food nearby- in my opinion it is the most underrated cuisine in the West. Teff, used to make injera, is a gluten free grain that’s high in protein and vitamins. The cuisine is vegan friendly and uses so many incredible spices. The restaurant is beautiful, everyone is friendly, and the food is always fresh. Highly recommend the injera chips as an appetizer.
