The food was alright, but the staff was amazing. Both my wife and I have gluten allergies and our server and the kitchen did an amazing job of catering to our needs. When they found out we were celebrating a honeymoon weekend, they brought out a feee dessert and a hand drawn and hand signed card from all the staff congratulating us on our wedding. The food was probably a 4/5, but the staff being so attentive and caring about us really made this a 5/5 experience :)

The only thing I was disappointed in was the size of the check afterward. We ordered the Chef's feast thinking we would save money, but if you have to eat gluten-free like I do, you have to order the premium appetizer and premium entree, for which you are charged extra. Our bill was $94 for 3 people and we ordered the Chef's feast for 2. We will not do that again! The food was excellent and the service was very good. I just didn't know it was going to be so expensive.

THE BEST INDIAN FOOD IN THE AREA! My husband and I started off just getting the most popular/well known dishes, however, the quality of the food and flavors are so delicious that we started branching out. We have never been let down, and continue to get more adventurous and expand our palates. So far we haven’t gotten a single thing we didn’t like! Service is warm and friendly. And I appreciate that they are knowledgeable about gluten free options! Eat here!

The cocktails were yummy and very reasonably priced ( most around 10$ with more than decent liquor). Our server was great and very attentive. I had the hoppin jane dish. As a gluten free, vegan I thought it was very delicious. Be sure you ask for extra green goddess dressing as it really made the dish. So flavorful! I wish I lived closer, this would become a regular for me! We would love a Noco in the Ann Arbor area!

I’ve never once had a bad experience with Lai Thai. All of their food is delicious, their service is quick, and their staff is so friendly! As someone with food intolerances I feel that their menu is clearly labeled for things like dairy, gluten, and nuts which is reassuring when I want something I know is a safe food. I definitely recommend them, really one of my favorite local spots for takeout!

Love’s is inside the Public Market - tucked in the back, but so worth finding! I’m dairy-free, and they had six different vegan and gluten-free options, which is a dream. They offer free tastings, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! I ended up getting the vegan dark chocolate, vegan amaretto cherry, and vegan lavender blueberry - loved all three! 😋 The texture is like gelato, but the staff explained it’s more coconut-based. Bonus: there’s plenty of seating nearby, making it a great little spot to chill and enjoy your treat. Definitely coming back! 🍦✨

Good pub with a nice burger and fries. Service was a bit lacking, though nice. - Big Easy: Half pound standard burger ordered medium and got it medium. The burger was juicy and cooked the way I like it. The rest of the burger was fairly plain and not much else to write home about. The cheese was not melted much. I saw it had mustard and no ketchup, so I freaked and asked them for ketchup instead of mustard which they did. I thought the burger was a little overpriced compared to the many of the other places I have visited in the area. If it were that good, I wouldn’t have a problem paying the price, but it was too plain to charge $16 and only get chips. - Fries: I upgraded to the fries. They were again fairly plain, but done right. They are medium sized steak fries with a good fluffy center and medium softer outer skin. They stayed warm until the end and were cooked just right. - Crispy Brussels Sprouts: WOAH! Powerful taste. There are several well balanced flavors that were nonetheless screaming for attention on this dish. I do like brussel sprouts and these were great, but a bit too much. That said, the parmesan was added as large shavings rather than grated which gave a great texture. The bacon is always a nice touch. The sherry gastrique was very sweet and powerful. There was a sour flavor to it as well that hits you at first, but settles down as you become acquainted with the initial shock. I liked it and it is worth trying. You’ll have to be the judge, though. It is a unique flavor. Not on the menu, but they have gluten free buns. Also, their Barnyard Burger was listed apart from the other burgers and I missed it. Their menu needs a bit of organization. They also have Shepherd’s Pie. Maybe I’ll come back and try that some time. They also list specials on their website. They are mostly drinks, though. I do see occasional specials for food listed on their Facebook page. - Service: We were greeted at the door immediately and seated at a booth at our request. However, that is where it seemed to go downhill. We looked over our menu and were ready to order and waited a good while (it was NOT that busy). Finally, I ended up sticking my head into the isle and being served by someone who wouldn’t have served us otherwise. Waters were finally brought (though never refilled) and our orders were taken. When served, it did come in a timely fashion, though. Paying also took a while. We had the credit card on the table for a good 5 minutes or more waiting to pay. BEWARE: The tip by default is 25% when paying by credit card. I didn’t notice until it was too late, especially since we were trying to get out as soon as possible since it was taking too long. I would NOT have tipped that much for our experience. Lesson learned. - Atmosphere: The booths have hard wooden backs, but cushioned seats (a bit worn, but not bad at all). The wood is warn down I think on purpose. It gives it that old-world feel they boast of. I felt like we were in Ireland or Scotland. There is a decent amount of old-world decor and the main of the inside is dark wood. It was overall comfortable in spite of the wooden backs. The music playing in the background was almost imperceptible. I could not hear it unless I really listened for it. Talking to my wife was not an issue and I appreciated that. The bathrooms were a tad small, but were okay. My wife mentioned the women’s room was a bit unclean, but I didn’t think the men’s room was bad. To call this place a “gastropub” (according to their Google Maps description) I think is a bit of a stretch. I think it is more of a pub with a slightly greater emphasis on the food than a pub. Maybe somewhere in the middle. I am guessing they have been around for almost 14 years (November 5, 2010 according to their Facebook page). Visited on a Friday night 7-8 PM. It was not terribly busy for a Friday and there were plenty of staff on hand from what I saw. Even a couple of the cooks came out for a few minutes.

I enjoyed everything about this place. The options for tacos was beyond expectation. The host was very hospitable. I love the menu set up, you fill out your order at your table. Everything is marked if it is gluten or dairy free. Service was great. Price was very reasonable. Food was excellent. My peach margaritas was just the way I like it...tart 😊 They also have a pet friendly deck you can enjoy with your furry friend.

This is our second time coming here while visiting family and it has become our stable. Incredible atmosphere, live music, gluten free options galore. We simply love it and have recommended it to all friends and relatives. Only concerns are limited parking and them being busy so you may have to wait for a table.

Dreamy little escape in Easttown. Specials switch up regularly. All crêpes can be made gluten free. Remember to ask. Efficient staff. Appreciate the fresh water carafe and glasses on the table.

My family and I stopped here and absolutely loved it. We are huge fans of Detroit style pizza and they nailed it. I had a gluten free pie that was nothing short of amazing. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Great place.

With its rich history and local staple, Pietro’s is a must try! My favorite was their gluten free pizza and flourless torte. They have a great happy hour menu with both food and drinks (offered at the bar).

Added our name to a waitlist on a Saturday - we were 20th in line, but it seemed to move quickly. We ordered Smash Burgers and Build Your Own Breakfast. Burgers were great and the breakfast was cooked to order, they have a handful of gluten free and vegetarian options too. Everyone was pleased with the food and we got a big chocolate chip cookie to go from the bakery. The service was friendly, but absent. When we were seated, we waited 15 min before anyone greeted us or took our drink orders. I assumed they had forgotten about our table and that feeling continued throughout the meal. Overall we had a nice brunch, seems like a good restaurant for families, friends, and couples.

I was looking for near by bakeries that make custom cakes and do gluten free and came across this one and decided to give it a try for my birthday and I’m so happy I did! The cake looked perfect it was everything I wanted and it tasted amazing!! You can’t tell it was gluten free, my family loved it and it was reasonably priced

This was our first time at Morning Belle and it didn’t disappoint! Our waitress, Kenzie, made great suggestions for us to try as well as accommodating me at a table that would be more comfortable for me to sit in. She was attentive to our needs and was patient with our questions. Her food suggestions were spot on! Everything came out hot and delicious. The cinnamon roll was the perfect first starter and could easily be shared. I love that they had Gluten Free bread that tasted like regular bread and my omelet, The Hummingbird, was light, delicious and plated beautifully. We will be back again for this morning treat. Unpretentious, genuine people and AMAZING food. They have gluten free bread option, but make sure to call ahead. This is a relaxed restaurant, so make sure you're okay with taking your time. The tea is addictive! Beware! The owner and his wife are usually there and they are happy to answer any questions. They are vegan and honestly the Ethiopian veggie dishes in my humble opinion are the best anyways! I think they're byob as well.

With four of us, we shared two cheese fondues, two entrees and one chocolate. That was more than enough, and we all left very full. They were very good about keeping the gluten free dippers separate from the things with gluten, which was great for my daughter with celiac. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Leave a couple of hours for three courses - we weren't eating particularly slowly and we were there over two hours.

If you enjoy variety and top-notch cuisine from around the world, this place is for you. We had a blast with dishes running from tacos, to kabobs, to poke bowls, to burgers and mushroom burgers. The flavors were excellent. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available too. Enjoy!

Visiting out of state and Hope G was a great server! Nice kind and answered all my questions regarding dietary restrictions. Most places say idk and she went out of her way to get my questions answered. It’s hard for me to eat to other places but this definitely hit the spot! Most gluten free toast are really thin and over price but the toast was nice and thick not too costly either. It’s hard for gluten free toast to be toasted but this toast was good. Some places don’t even toast the bread which I find not appealing since the bread is soft and turns to mush. The potatoes are a bit over seasoned but I rather have it over seasoned than taste like nothing. The portions are a bit small but if you get an avocado toast with two eggs and the potatoes it doesn’t over fill you. I hope they offer turkey bacon in the future :) Thanks for the service! Made my day :)

Worst ramen I’ve had- very bland and did not taste authentic. A lot of authentic ramen shops offer soba noodles, which are a great gluten free option, but the noodles here did not compare, and dissolved in the broth immediately, which was very unappetizing.

Dylan was an awesome server. Very knowledge about allergies & the menu. He was very attentive too! Beacon’s takes allergies very serious - they have a dedicated gluten free fryer!! The walleye, oysters, crab dip, & fish & chips were all great choices! So hard to find fried GF fish. 10/10 will be back!! So good!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary tonight with a special dinner at Butcher's Union with our older children. Great service. Loved how different the patio room was with the huge skylight, rustic painted brick walls and tons of hanging vines and ferns. I appreciated that the Chefs were able to make my dinner free from gluten. Everyone loved what we ate. Dark and Stormy Mule was perfect. Steaks were tender and flavorful. Desert was good, too.

Donkey is one of my favorites restaurants to go to! Not only do they have the best chips and guacamole and margaritas in Grand Rapids, they are somewhere where as a celiac I feel safe to eat (super informed plus dedicated GF fryers so I can actually have the chips :). Great tequila selection and tacos. The staff is also amazing and always welcoming. Having such a large outdoor seating area makes it an a great place for summer dining.

Food is always good, I'm enjoying the new gluten free items, that they are able to substitute for noodles in their delicious dishes! There is some cross contamination, I believe. But gluten free noodles are huge! Still no bread sticks sadly... But maybe one day!
