Really good service but we didn't really enjoy the food. We ordered off the gluten free menu and pasta didn't taste that great. Ordered the lobster meal but pieces were very small. Substitutions were common because they didn't have what was offered. Overall we felt disappointed in the meals.
I'm gluten free and was thrilled that Club Car had a separate GF menu that included a lot of choices. They even had GF soups!!! Fun atmosphere, great service and great food at reasonable prices. We really enjoyed Club Car and definitely will visit again.
Endless food and bottomless mimosas/bloody marys/mixed drinks is a hell of a way to start a weekend. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and there were plenty of options for gluten free eaters.

Had the BEST experience here. Trying to find a restaurant that offers a gluten free menu as well as regular with no discernible differences in taste is 1 in a million and buzzard Billy’s is exactly that. Any time we ever come back it will be good at BB. Kristen, Kela and shiree are the best servers EVER!
Nice little upscale eatery. The food was good, and the service was fantastic. Prompt attention was paid to everyone in our party, and the atmosphere was fabulous.
The Mediterranean quinoa salad was really good, and the pommes frites were perfectly cooked. I tried the Orange Chicken, and the Rocket Shrimp appetizer, which were both good.
I tried the Spring Fling cocktail, which was served in a champagne glass and was both pretty and delicious at the same time.
Our server was somehow both inconspicuous and still always attentive. She had an excellent knowledge of the gluten free options for one of our party, which was much appreciated.
The prices are not even close to average, but I liked everything I had and would definitely go back again.
Beautiful, cozy, esay going, clean, delicious food and excellent service. If you're in town, make time to visit. Do come with an empty stomach, servings are on the plentyfull side!!! Great variety of offerings with gluten-free and vegetarian plates as well as local meats.
Cute diner with friendly staff and great food. We went with party of 6, some had breakfast, some salad or sandwich. Everyone enjoyed. I highly recommend the Bluebird juevos as it was excellent. They even had good gluten free pancakes for our celiac group member.
We go to a lot of different Culvers for their gluten free buns, and this location somehow made it taste the best. The bun was piping hot when it came to us, and it was so soft and moist. It held together until we finished the burgers which wasn't our experience in other locations. It was during the lunch rush but the service was super fast through the drive-thru.
Burger shed had a separate Gluten-free menu. We all ordered from that menu as one in our family is Celiac. Food was great, gluten free buns were nice and was not charged extra for gf. It would be nice if they had a dedicated fryer for french fries, though. Celiac kids want fries too.
I’m gluten-free, the hubs knows the difference between a drink and a good drink, and we both appreciate excellent food and service. 5 stars on all of the above. Whiskey Road in Cedar Falls is definitely our new favorite.
Our first visit, was recommended to me for the gluten free options. Pleasantly surprised by the number of choices, including sides. We opted for the pulled pork nachos - the highlight of the dish was the smoked meat and homemade salsa - both were delicious!! Unfortunately the nachos came out 1/2 heated and had to go back to bake a bit longer (think that might have dried them out and burned the chips).
Service was great!
Driving through Iowa, I decided to take a break at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers—and I’m so glad I did!
From the moment I walked in, Calista’s friendly and welcoming attitude made the experience even better. She provided excellent service, ensuring everything was just right.
The Red Robin Gourmet Cheeseburger was delicious, served on a gluten-free bun that was soft yet held together perfectly. And those sweet potato fries? Crispy, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the meal!
This location delivers on both great food and outstanding customer service. If you’re in the area and craving a satisfying meal, Red Robin won’t disappoint!
Just finished a dinner at Crave. Eight people at the table. ordered drinks. Ordered an IPA that was not in stock anymore, but on the menu. Ordered a gin martini. Lady coming back to the table with the drinks spilled my martini into the other water glasses and drinks on her serving tray. Handed me a glass 1/3 full of a standard martini glass. Mentioned no olives. Her her reply was she wasn’t sure if I wanted any. Asked for olives. In the hour and a half dinner they never came. Daughter ordered a gluten-free no cheese hamburger guess what; we had to re-order. Took so long due to timeframe. Had to leave with food to go. 20% gratuity due to being a table with eight people. Bullshit! Horrible service. Food is way overpriced. Will never go there again.
Went with my fiance to try out the restaurant, as we're looking into caterers for our wedding, and we had heard Crane & Pelican was great. The atmosphere is great! Service wasn't bad by any means, though I think the two servers could have used another hand once guests started coming in for dinner.
The food was not good. I honestly should have left after the second bite. I got the pecan salmon, it came with a side of green beans, and rizzoto. The green beans must have been soaking in a vat of oil. I have NEVER had green beans like this. I understand too much butter, and that's forgivable, but I mean soaked through with oil. I should have just stopped there, but I didn't want to appear rude, so I finished them. The rizzoto? Genuinely so bland it was almost tasteless, other than a strange sour flavor that was reminiscent of dawn dish soap. I took two small bites, and I wish I didn't. The salmon was cooked very well, though. Perfect. But when I ordered, I guess I neglected to realize the salmon would be completely covered in blueberry syrup with pecans? It wasn't bad, per se, but I still can't fathom how those are supposed to taste good together.
My fiance got the gluten free, vegan pasta salad. I don't know what the name of the dish actually is, but it's just pasta salad with those gross checkpea noodles with random bits of broccoli and avocado. We've both had a fair few gluten free, and vegan dishes. There's no reason it should have been so bland. The first taste was simply off putting. It was gross. Not like it needed salt, but it needed to be reconsidered as a dish all together. I felt so bad for her I tried to give her some of my salmon, but she doesn't care for pecans, and is not big into fish. She tried to force herself to get through some of it, but ultimately she couldn't.
Of all the items we got. The bread service, and the summer sangria were just about the only two things worth their cost. I genuinely do not mean to be rude to the chef, the staff, or anyone there at all. We were quiet, didn't make a scene, and waited until we were outside to talk about how we both felt. We both agreed. Never going back. I paid, and left a 15% tip. I usually always leave a 20% but I just genuinely could not bring myself to. I don't know if something went wrong with our meals, or if there was some mistake while they were prepared, but I genuinely cannot believe this place has a 4.6 star rating, while serving food like this.
Now it's been about 3 or 4 hours since going, and we're both nauseous. I don't think we have food poisoning or anything, for myself, I feel it was the absurd amount of oil I consumed, and the sour soapy taste of the rizzoto, as for my fiance, I think it was just simply how off, and sad the pasta salad tasted.
I won't pretend to have the most refined sense of taste, but both my fiance and myself have eaten quite a wide range of foods, in a fair few places across the US. This was simply not good. It made me feel sick.
This restaurant has great potential, the presentation, and the atmosphere, and the staff were all great, but I genuinely think some menu items need attention. Maybe partner with a survey company, and offer 20% off, or a free drink at your next visit for giving feedback, on the receipt. The chef is obviously talented, and cares about their work, I just cannot see how the average person would enjoy the items we ordered. I'm sure there are other items on the menu that are much better. We specifically chose items available on the catering menu, as we were taste testing for our wedding dinner.
The food was a genuine 1 or 2/10. But I do believe with some adjustments and reinvention this restaurant could be a regular date destination for my future wife and myself. I do hope to see a few changes, and I hope no one takes this review as an attack. I am just trying to give honest feedback.
Solid food, cocktail, and beer choices, with some vegan and gluten free options as well.
Pricing is in the middle to high end. There are $15-20 dishes, but can easily go into the $25-35 range or even higher. There is a speakeasy downstairs, but it was closed when we visited. Would recommend making a reservation to avoid waiting, as it can get busy.
Did you know Culver's has Gluten Free Buns? So happy about that! As for the young people that were working, they all were great, but a Shout Out to Alexis and Maddox for helping me!
My gluten free bun completely crumbled apart, looks like the recently changed brands. I was also disappointed because something is wrong with their chocolate custard. It tasted like vanilla with chocolate syrup and didn’t have the classic texture and taste I expect from Culver’s. Friendly staff and clean restaurant
Went in on a quiet Thursday afternoon and the service and food were top shelf. Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Brussels were excellent and the cornbread is actually GLUTEN FREE! Start with the deviled eggs or the street corn dip!
I have extreme gluten allergy. Ordered s'room burger on gluten-free bun. Had trouble with fries last time so I ordered a salad NO CROUTONS . Of course when Uber gets here there are CROUTONS in and on my salad.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening here for NYE! Food and wine pairings were phenomenal and we enjoyed discussing French wine with the owner. They have a wide variety of options for Gluten Free on their menu and all the food we tried was delicious. We will be back!
We had an awesome server. The food was also so good. I am gluten-free and they were very good at knowing what was gf and making sure it didn't cross contaminated! Awesome place and their salad bar is too die for!
I eat at Culver's rarely because I am not into yogurt. Also the burgers are so greasy that the bottom bun is soaked. I don't like that. Not today. It was dry and I loved it. My GF was able to get gluten free food also. She liked hers sandwich. It would be nice if they had more than one toilet. One sit down is it. Not enough. People travel and dine in and it holds about 50 people. Yep a line. Not fun. Other than that it was great. I would go back there.
I would like to send a thank you to Becky for being such a caring person. I recently found out that I have celiac disease and was unsure what I could order to eat. Becky gave me several options, and went out of her way to come find me in the restaurant, sit down, and share a pamphlet with me on gluten free options. Thank you, Becky, you are a wonderful person.
Jordan was very helpful and cheerful. My son and I are gluten free and he was very knowledgeable with gluten free options. Great customer service and he had been working 12 hours already, this is very rare nowadays. This young man needs a raise.
Food was fast and really good. We had gluten free buns and it was so great to have options.
Thank you!
Still my favorite restaurant, even after loosing my old Google account. I must be a "yuppíe" as Christy Dykes would apparently say. Please Google the definition of "Entree" before saying it's too small. I generally order 2 appetizers, an entree, a dessert, and two millstream sodas. I am a 200lb man after all. I have Celiac and this place has proven itself to me to be celiac-safe time and time again. Also if you are going to use a derogatory biker term, please know what it means, I am 40+, most are older and no one here is pretending to like Harleys. Is being well paid even an insult, lmao. My "father" was in an MC and I hate Harleys. Oh, and go watch South Park "the F-word" to see what most of America thinks about Harley riders these days. If you can't afford it just say so 🤷♂️. I am a disabled stay at home Dad, I am paid in smiles. I personally can only afford it twice a year (my wife and I spent $140+ a $20 tip last time) and I go out to eat nowhere else because there is nowhere else that is truly safe for someone with celiac.
When I went a month ago the person taking the order was super confused and didn’t know what was gluten free or not. Definitely look online at the nutrition facts before you go so you know what you’re looking for.
We had a server who was in training and yet he did well. It shows the managers are competent. The food was hot and timely. I eat Gluten Free and had no reaction, which means the staff were clean and washed their hands. Good job!
Everything was amazing! I'm gluten free and it was so simple to get exactly what I wanted. I did my research ahead of time and they have a gluten free guide that helped me.
Best Gluten-Free Option in Okoboji
I had a fantastic gluten-free burger with a lettuce wrap bun and a salad. I have
celiac disease and I did not get sick. The menu does state that they cannot guarantee everything will be 100% gluten-free due to potential cross-contamination ("flour flying around the kitchen"), but if you're having a salad or something grilled, I doubt you'd have any issues.
Plus, lunch on the patio was a great vibe.
