The decor is darling! Colorful, cozy, and charming space. Character paintings on the wall and Hello Kitty adorn from the ceilings.
There is bar or table seating, a clean bathroom (always a must), and a variety of sauces and oils on each table.
Grab a menu, chopsticks, soup spoon, and fork with napkin and order!.
Staff was friendly and smiling. Interesting drink options, Modelo if that's your thing and, of course, many Boba flavors. They even have specialty shaved ice for dessert, too.
Menu full pf options from rice to noodles to wraps to salads and of course what this restaurant is known for; ramen. There are plenty of options for vegans and gluten-free as well.
We ordered shrimp spring roll; the peanut sauce was delicious. Also, the crab gyoza. Those were tasty but wouldn't order again due to the amount of filling for price. Next, we devoured the crab ramen and veggie ramen, which I added additional veggies. Broth was perfect heat, and ingredients were plentiful. The sauce from the gyoza paired well in the ramen, too.
We really enjoyed this restaurant.

My wife and I have come here before and used to love it. But we went last night and it was so bad I don’t want to go back. The ramen was cold. The wait staff thinks that soy sauce is gluten. We were recommended a ramen by the waitress and it was very lukewarm. We asked about adding eggs to our ramen and they hyped it up saying it was great because they let them soak in a special sauce. When we got the eggs they were like near ice cold and slimy. My wife and I were starving so we forced the food down and at that point I just wanted to leave. Definitely not worth nearly 50 bucks for 2 ramen bowls, adding one egg each, and also substituting pork belly into our ramen. My server told me an incorrect price on the pork belly and decided to tell me right as I was paying that the pork belly price was higher. That’s just unprofessional. I have no desire to go back to Gorō, which is really sad because I used to love going.

This was our first time of eating at Charlestons, we visited the one in Norman. I had the bacon hickory burger and fries, this was amazing. My husband had gluten chicken piccata and cole slaw, I am picky on my coleslaw and I have to say it tasted great as well.the Hickory Sauce was the best, the price for the food was reasonable, the service was great. Visited for our anniversary and Alex took good care of us. Great shareable small and large plates, and steaks, priced well and was excellent. Chef Kevin stood us up though (just kidding, he was out of town on a private gig). We started with signature cocktails, mangiacotti margarita and dragon slayer, very nice. Moved on to himachi crudo with tomato water topping, sweet potato burrata with gluten free sourdough, and beef tartar. Himachi was perfectly balanced with nice tangy and salty notes while sweet potatoes were nicely sweet with crunch from the skins and creaminess from the burrata. Tartar was chopped just right and seasoned well. Next up was a perfect mid-rare filet and charred onion with lettuce for wraps and 3 sauces, and buttered cheese corn scallops. We added a side of kimchi to round things out. Scallops were soft and perfectly cooked and paired well with the corn, and filet was tender and seasoned well. Finished it up with black sesame creme brulee, creamy and decadent, perfect.
A must try, honestly it is a great choice for an anniversary dinner or special event.
