Our experience at Uchi was flawless from start to finish. The food was spectacular and the service was incredible - highly recommend asking your server for advice when ordering, because we loved his picks and had fun branching out (also super helpful for ordering the right amount!). Both flounder nigiri options + the pomegranate oysters were real standouts to us, but we enjoyed everything we tried. The atmosphere was upscale but unfussy. Abundant gluten free options and knowledgeable staff on that front. High chairs are available & the baby in our group was able to eat off the menu, too. Pricing is great given the quality of experience. We went to celebrate a birthday and they made the experience really wonderful for us.

My husband and I ate here while in Dallas for work and we both have allergies to gluten (he’s celiac, I have a wheat allergy/gluten intolerance). The food was incredible and we felt very safe eating here. Gluten Free is clearly marked on the menu and when we told the server she made sure the kitchen knew our allergies. We shared the chicken satay appetizer, my husband got the curry fried rice and I had the massamun curry. The flavors were out of this world delicious! I would eat here all the time if I lived here. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had dinner here since we passed by after a movie and saw it was open for thanksgiving. Had a lovely time, food was great! Our server Jewel was the absolute sweetest. She recommended a sushi roll that is now my husband’s favorite, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything I ordered was gluten friendly. She was attentive, kind and so very helpful. The whole wait staff took such great care of us, and accommodated our wide variety of spice tolerances (nailed it for everyone). For one of us with a gluten allergy, they have a dedicated GF/allergen menu (all curries but not paneer are gluten free, plus wide variety of desserts) and wait staff are trained to talk about food allergies and preparation. We took our toddler and he loved the ambiance and food. They do a lot of takeout but if you have the opportunity to actually dine there, they will make it worth your time!
