I was pleasantly surprised to learn that not only are their ice creams all gluten free, they also offer gluten free cones and are knowledgeable about coeliac disease! Extraordinarily rude - we came in excited to get some gluten free breakfast and the cashier told us to leave, or get outside and come back in when we knew what we wanted and order - difficult if you’ve never been there before…

I was visiting Hobart for work and I was in the mood for some delicious oysters and seafood. Pearl + Co did not disappoint. On entrance to the venue I was greeted by a very lovely wait staff who was very attentive to my requests. Being gluten intolerant and dairy intolerant, there was a large selection for me to choose from. I started with their delicious oysters in a Pearl mignonette sauce, followed by a cured/raw plate of tuna, octopus and snapper. Everything was so tasty and fresh. I also ordered the side of edamame, broccoli and bok choy salad with a gluten free sauce that was divine. I could have eaten 10 of the side salads alone it was that moorish.
Would highly recommend this venue, with great water views by day and ambient setting at night.
