Fantastic experience. The food was so good! I had a gluten-free pizza, then got a gluten-free s'mores pizza. Both were delicious. My husband got... idk see picture. He ordered another after eating the first one. They aren't really big, but they're enough for one person. We also went there at 1030, so we were eating off the after-hours menu. Beautiful night and location.
I have serious gluten and shellfish allergies and Red Robin did a amazing job keeping my food safe from cross contamination!! Had cheese burger and fries and no reactions! So nice to eat somewhere where they take your allergies very seriously!! Service was great, food was great! If you have gluten allergies and want a great tasting burger try this Red Robin restaurant!
Amy and her team at Tacozzini were amazing, handling a massive takeout order for our wedding party on 4.21.23 and hand-delivering it to Wisteria Augusta Salon where we were getting our hair and makeup done for my wedding last week. They made sure everything was labeled (we had some gluten-free and vegan options included), and even offered to bring over nice table settings and catering silverware to elevate our experience! We declined, in case our hair and makeup finished early and we had to eat and dash (or eat in hair chairs). Everyone loved their food and it was such a great spot, highly recommend Tacozzini for anyone needing gluten-free, dairy-free, or just delicious options for dinners, lunches, or takeout!!

If you have any type of allergy do not go to this restaurant!!! They are clearly untrained. We specifically went there for the gluten free options, got gluten anyways. Spoke with the manager who was defensive in the whole conversation and is referring us to “loss control” obviously thinking we just wanted a free meal. That is after committing multiple times 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant. Pretty sure the waiter’s recommendation of the salad dressing of Italian had the gluten so obviously wasn’t trained well enough as no less than three times did we mention everything needed to be gluten free for one in our party. Maybe manager needs some training too as this review would not be posted if he had better customer service skills with us when we told him of the problem and did better training of staff.
Had a great meal. Shrimp and grits for me (gluten free). My dining partners had strict vegetarian requirements and the waitstaff went above and beyond to make changes to accommodate expanding their vegetarian options. Special mention to Dave!
Stopped
in for a quick lunch, food was amazing and service was excellent. Nice that menu was marked with gluten-free and dairy free options. Will definitely be back!!!
A brunch specific review - it's aight.
The food is ok and the servers are nice, but it's hard to recommend this when you can go across the street to Nosedive and get a better brunch for cheaper. They also don't have some of the gluten free options advertised on their website for brunch - there's maybe 2 things on the menu if you have a gluten free person in your party. Sobys may just be better served as a dinner place
ORIGINAL REVIEW (see UPDATE BELOW):
Mac's seems to be going through a Beer House-Cleaning. From what's been said by staff, they are getting rid of about 1/3 of the 48 beer taps ... well, they are apparently going to leave the excess taps, but not hooked up, with a repeat tap handle from some other beer on tap closer to the middle of the bar. So in effect, as many as 21 fewer beers to choose from. One that is being discontinued is Samuel Adams Boston Lager. This was 1 of 2 bars that featured Boston Lager. There will still be 1 American lager that is on the amber/darker side, Yuengling Traditional Lager, which is OK but without the richer, full-bodied flavor that Sam's has. They "might" still feature Boston Beer's seasonal beers (Winter Lager, Cold Snap, Octoberfest .... ), but that has apparently not been fully determined. The 1 beer in the list I could safely drink of Boston's Lager's caliber, was Boston Lager. On-line information reveals that Gluten Tests place it's level almost at Gluten-Free, below 20 ppm. And I have a Gluten sensitivity. And Boston Lager is highly regarded and consistent!
IT Looks like as many as 21 beers or taps are being eliminated, which is a shame, they were noted for their 48 taps and great selection.
So I guess for now, my backup plan is the Boston Lager tap at Carolina Ale House in city center, or Boston Lager bottles at home. Carolina Ale House has and still features 48 taps. I will still visit Mac's for their excellent food, their flavored Mules which are great, and their friendly staff, friendliest in town!
UPDATE:
Having been contacted by Guest Relations from Mac's corporate, I can say without hesitation that they care about their customers' experiences as much as their local staff does... and that's a lot! I can certainly understand if the numbers say 1 beer has to go, another has to be added ... sounds like business to me. Response from corporate was well beyond expectations, and as of today they have added Samuel Adams Boston Lager in bottles to help keep me coming back, and it is greatly appreciated! I guess in the long run I'd prefer draught beer taste, however attention to the customer that they have displayed would easily win out. Sam Adams is great no matter the vessel, so I was the winner all the way around. Thanks Mac's Team ... 5 STARS!
I don't know where to start. I really like this place and visit more than I'd like to admit, lol.
Excellent selection of craft beers. Taps are always rotating, but I love that they keep the styles balanced (eg, not all IPAs at once). They support a number of local and regional breweries, which is fantastic. They also maintain a varied selection of bottles/cans including seltzers, ciders, and gluten free/reduced. Add in their wine list, and there really is something no matter your preference.
It's a great location along the Swamp Rabbit Trail not far off Main Street making it easy to stop in while on a trial walk / bike ride or a downtown stroll. Sit outside to enjoy a view of the trail and river (and my favorite group of ducks).
The owners and bartenders are super friendly and welcoming creating a relaxed atmosphere.

This is a great food court with a nice selection of restaurants downtown. Easy access and great seating choices. It needs more gluten free and vegetarian options.

I had a great meal here. Most everything is gluten free, and the chef guided me through what I shouldn't have. It was delicious. Reys is a bar. The restaurant is in the back and called Half Rooted.
Needed a quick place for lunch. Found Paloma. Had to seat ourselves. Picked outside table. Took a while to get order placed due to only one server for the entire restaurant. He was great but so busy. Ordered a hummus board and chicken sandwich. Got gluten free crackers which were rosemary. Good food.
Great concept and location but on a busy beautiful Saturday, they need more staff.

I’ve found myself preferring the hotel restaurant scene lately. This place was no exception! The seating was cozy and calm yet active and vibrant at the same time. It was cold out so I’m assuming that’s why it wasn’t very busy for a Friday night but, besides the bar area, we were the only table. Our server was friendly and just attentive enough to not be overbearing.
We started with the truffle fries. They were good but not outstanding. I prefer shoestring truffle fries and these were regular size fries. They also could have used a bit more cheese. To drink I had the Oak and Honey old fashioned. The cocktail menu was creative and typically priced.
I ordered the fried chicken with Brussels sprouts and beans. I didn’t realize when I ordered that it was gluten free and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. It’s incredibly hard to find gluten free fried chicken so I’m definitely highlighting this point! Our server said that the menu is rotating but they always have a fried chicken option and it’s always gluten free. Oh, and ingredients are sourced locally—another plus!
My husband ordered the carbonara. He had a craving for that dish and it hit the spot.
Here’s my only request (and I’m going to start adding it to every review): PLEASE add one vegan dish to every menu. A simple vegetable plate or a grain bowl. It doesn’t have to be fancy. This is needed especially in a hotel restaurant! I appreciate the cauliflower option here!
