I ordered a hibiscus margarita and cheese sticks with pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños with a side of marinara and ranch. I come here often and Jamie has been very sweet and attentive even during a chaotic rush. She makes sure all her tables are doing well and answers any questions about the menu. She offers gluten free pizza and desserts which are really good! Recommended trying their hubcaps, satisfies the sweet craving! Thanks for the great service Jamie! ☺️
GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS
Food was delicious !
Service was excellent and our server was knowledgeable about gluten free options.
Sadly the only option for dessert was the Frozen Yoghurt was gluten free. I didn’t end up getting it because i was too cold to eat something cold since we sat in the patio area.

Via 313 is my favorite pizza in Austin. You can never go wrong with the Detroit style pizza, the Detroiter is my go-to because of the double pepperoni. They also make really good meatballs and have an excellent gluten-free crust. Check out their Happy Hour!
A good spot for gluten free brunch! You can get any of the pancakes in gluten free or get the pancake flight like I did if you want to sample multiple flavors! I think there is a gluten free French toast as well. Definitely join the waitlist before you leave the house if it’s a weekend!
I got gluten-free chicken strips and mashed potatoes, and they were more than I could eat. But so good. I didn't want to stop eating til I ate them. All will definitely come back again for this plate.
Suzi was our waitress and she was wonderful! great service and she remembered my daughter and granddaughters from past visits! even remember that my daughter had a gluten intolerance! food was amazing too
Every dish we ordered was delicious. Alejandro provided very friendly and helpful service. His recommendations did not disappoint. We ordered the gluten-free cinnamon roll pancakes, absolutely delicious! Gluten-free eggs Benedict were a real treat and the hashbrowns were super flavorful without being too salty. I was super impressed with the very reasonable amount of time it took for our food to make it to the table. This was a much better experience than previous visits and wait time. Perfect Mother’s Day brunch.
Great staff, good gluten-free selection of food, and the staff will help with recommendations if you can't decide. Their drinks are delicious too, if you're old enough for the bar menu.
Always fun to go and eat there.
Went here for brunch and it was great! Pretty patio, and a mimosa flight is only $6! They have so many gluten free and vegan options, so there is something for everyone. Cute place
Shayne was great! So attentive, gave great options and always smiled. He’s a genuinely nice person. The cocktails and food were great and there’s gluten free options. Will return.
Lyric was AMAZING! I’m a BJ’s regular and I’ve never had such good service. He was very helpful, attentive, and kind. He said he hadn’t been serving very long and I couldn’t believe it! The margarita flight was good, as was the burger and gluten free pizzookie.
I had been wanting to visit since we moved here 2 years ago. Many people have recommended it , including on reddit as a romantic place but also family friendly. We went with the intent to only order dessert as a celebration of a special event. We were not asked if we were celebrating, as per custom but I also didn't mention it so whatever. After we noticed other gluten free and dairy free options we decided to order meals. The server was friendly and attentive despite it being very busy. She was careful with our children's allergies which I truly appreciate. The atmosphere is very 90s grandma's house but with all the cousins and crazy aunts over, which is too say loud, chaotic and drunk people all over. I would not call this place romantic or family friendly. The food was priced accordingly with other similar Austin restaurants, about $25 per plate. I had the pecan salmon, it was fine. Definitely not what the other reviews suggested. Something I would make at home on a weekday. Mine didn't have any delicious sauce. I added the sauce that came with the fried pickels to it bc it was very dry and had several bones which is expected. The fried pickels were very good. The batter was light and crunchy . We also ordered a burger it was fine. Kids meals were the usual with the exception of a healthy option which we love to see. it was a very small serving of protein even for a child, but a win is a win . The chocolate mouse was thick pretty much solid and very bitter but for a vegan gluten free option I'm glad there was something on the menu they could have at all. The creme Brule was runny and lacked flavor. We spent about $120 for 5 people but for that we could have gone to our regular place , kerby lane for similar price but better environment for a family already feeling over stimulated. The best thing we ordered was the side salad that had a great ceaser dressing , maybe house made ? Overall I don't understand the hype. Maybe we went on a bad day or time but the flavor and food quality wasn't what I expected after what I've heard. Very chain restaurant with only microwaves in the back. Good service and server doing her best with help. Also restrictive deit accommodating.
They can do gluten free pizza’s that are pretty good. Not my favorite crust but the pizza flavor and crust crispiness are great together. I like the Cadillac and Hawaiian.
This is my favorite place to eat when I visit Austin! Kyla was our waitress this time and is like sunshine every time she visits the table! I Gluten allergy is never a problem here 🙌🏻
This is a very good restaurant to eat at night or day with your family. The waiter service is very good and they are really nice and respectful to the customers. It is a very nice atmosphere and is very well build and clean and nice. It is expensive for the salad bar but it comes with an unlimited use and it includes waiters bringing meat to your table and asking if you want some and they come in all shapes and sizes and are extremely tasty. This restaurant has a bar and a ton of tables in different shapes and sizes for any family size. And some of the food here is gluten free too for people who have celiac disease or allergies. I would rate this 5/5 stars for service ,food and atmosphere.
This is a new brunch must for my husband and I! I recently became gluten free and had the BEST GF pancakes I’ve had yet. They also can make almost any menu item GF. My mother in law is also Vegan and said her pancakes were also incredible.
The service was great. The vibe was awesome. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well.
Do yourself a favor and GET THE BACON 😋
Absolute disaster at Northern Italia today. Despite my clear dietary restrictions, they served me gluten-loaded toast and potatoes alongside a veggie scramble. Oh, and let's not forget the dairy-drenched salad after specifying I'm dairy-free. The pièce de résistance? Finding out I'm allergic to the hidden peas in my scramble. The service was nonexistent, I had to hunt down the waitress myself. To top it off, no seasoning, no sauce, and not even a comp for the disaster. Never again.
Food was good. The deck and the views of the water were great. They also had a menu that listed gluten free items. I ordered the lunch portion of the St. Louis pork ribs, which were really good.
We absolutely love RedFarm! The food is consistently delicious, with plenty of options for everyone—gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian included. My personal favorite? The gluten-free lobster dumplings—oh my god, they are incredible.
Robert was our server (as he often is), and he always takes excellent care of us. He’s knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly thoughtful when it comes to food allergies and dietary needs. Jen, the manager, is also a standout. She’s been there for years, always greets us with a smile, and it’s clear she cares deeply about both the staff and the overall operation. The restaurant is clean, well-run, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
My favorite restaurant in Austin!! Been going here since I was in a highchair.
Seating is remarkably fast for how packed this place always is.
Food is incredibly consistent, and it happens that you have any problems with your order they'll make it again for you fast, and with no questions asked.
Beautiful atmosphere, history all over the walls, team members & customers always smiling.
Drinks are strong, and you will never leave hungry. Same-day-made complementary chips and spicy table salsa. Try not to fill up on chips if you can help it, because entree and appetizers are both all a LOT of food. I usually leave with leftovers that turn into a beautiful breakfast the next day.
Personal favorite appetizer: Bob Armstrong Queso Dip. They just recently won a Best-In-Austin award for their queso dips, which is saying something.
Personal favorite signature cocktail: Matt's Knockout Martini. As the name suggests, referencing the founder's professional boxing career, this is a POWERFUL drink. They don't let you have more than two of them. A one-two punch of these can really get to you, but it's tough to stop drinking it because it's so delicious. Be careful!
Personal favorite entree: Janie's Combination Salad. A gorgeous dinner salad topped with your choice of protein and dressing, but I always go with the Beef Fajita and only-found-here Cilantro Vinaigrette. This one is a terrific decision for those of us trying to avoid carbs, too.
You can get a drink and a dinner for $30 here, which is very refreshing in the big city that Austin has become. I always take my friends & family here that come from out of town. They also have vegetarian and gluten-free options, which is great.
Remarkable service. Employees all seem happy to be here, which is very refreshing as well in the current economic climate. Managers seem to know all of their customers by name, which is a cool thing to watch in a restaurant that's been around for 70+ years.
Five stars. Come to Matt's if you've never checked it out.
Love all the burger options! Our server Tyler was very friendly and helpful. They are also gluten free friendly and even have a separate fryer for cross contamination which is a plus for my wife.
Yndira was our server and our service was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. The burger was delicious and had a gluten free bun option which was also very good. Definitely recommend.
Overall, the food was good, as a crab Alfredo goes. The service was wonderful with staff that were very willing to help navigate the menu of gluten free options. We would eat here again.
The food was good. I get so excited that the gluten friendly window is opening and more places have that menu option.
Nice environment. Warm and cozy was the feeling we got. Even had an enjoyable conversation with an elderly couple sitting across the way.
My only issue was we were over charged $20 after we left. We left a cash tip 🤔.
We called a few days later and spoke with the manager. The overage was refunded with no problem.
We plan to visit again.....but paying with cash 🤑 next time. 110422
This place is surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. In fact, every time I come here I think "I should come here more often!" This most recent time, I had the fillet and lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed a blooming onion and an excellent chocolate brownie dessert which also happens to be gluten-free so my daughter could eat it as well. I think I'll come here more often.
God I love Busty’s! The vibe is just immaculate with the 70s theme. The ribs are the best I’ve had (maybe ever?), and they offer gluten free buns, fries, pancakes. The music is always good and service is amazing.

I loved it here. It was my first time here. It was my brother's birthday and we all loved our meals. Jen, our server, was very professional and very helpful. My sister-in-law has gluten allergies and I have severe dairy allergies. Jen was very patient and helpful with us. I ordered the fried oysters and I had the blackened red snapper with out sauces and it was still so delicious. Great location and great ambience.
Rating: 3.6/5 [Postmates delivery]
The Peached Tortilla is the sister restaurant of Bar Peached. They serve a variety of Asian-inspired dishes.
Dan Dan Noodles ($17.25) + 45-Minute Egg ($2): Five-spice pork, chili peanut sauce, cucumbers (spicy). The flavors weren’t as strong as I’d like and felt muted. I was expecting a rich, nutty, and spicy profile, but it didn’t shine through. They also used thick flat noodles instead of thin ones, which didn’t soak up the flavor well. I barely noticed the ground pork until halfway through. However, the dish does grow on you as you eat.
Lush Pork Belly Bowl ($18.40) + Extra Chinese BBQ Sauce ($0.50): Five-spice pork belly, house kimchi, pickled daikon carrots, 45-minute egg, jasmine rice. Pretty disappointing. They served three large blocks of pork belly, but they were dry and didn’t fully absorb the five-spice flavor. You definitely need to dip them in the Chinese BBQ sauce. The egg was delicious but didn’t taste much different from a poached egg.
Peach Sichuan Brussels ($11.50): Sichuan peppercorn peach glaze, fried shallots, sesame (vegan). This was my favorite of the four dishes. The Brussels sprouts were a bit soggy when they arrived, but they were perfect after I air-fried them. The peach Sichuan flavor was well-balanced and not overpowering.
Umami Chicken Wings ($12.65): Fish sauce vinaigrette, herbs, shallots (gluten-free). The chicken wings didn’t absorb the fish sauce vinaigrette, so they lacked umami. I’m also not a fan of eating whole chicken wings since their shape makes them a bit difficult to eat.
We had lunch here yesterday. I had the grass fed burger with gluten free bun. Delicious!! We also ordered the yuca fries with dip sauce. The Micholada with a side car was refreshing. Very nice atmosphere. Great service. Plan to spend about 20-30 dollars with drinks per person.
Consistently great food, service, and atmosphere! I met a friend on a Friday at 4:30pm before the dinner rush and it was great that there were plenty of tables. Our waiter was attentive without being annoying, the food was delicious and a plus in their offering of gluten-free for my friend!
I love Waterloo ice house. The menu is diverse and I appreciate how gluten-free items are labeled. I dream about the gluten-free cinnamon pecan pancakes- they are delicious!
What I love most is how the service is always on point. The people who work here are fantastic. And the food always comes fast! I never want to wait forever for food, so I love that. Also, it's family friendly if you have kids and dog friendly on the patio.
Surprising for the location, don't judge a book by its cover! This place is a fun and engaging location with good food and drinks. The staff was extremely helpful with the gluten free and dairy options and made the entire visit memorable!
