Our waiter Garrett was absolutely fabulous ! Provided professional outstanding service. He was personable, funny and made my birthday dinner with family extra special. Felt like we made a new friend. Tyrek the kitchen manager was also very pleasant to chat with. The food was delicious and so enjoyable ! With great prices. Also appreciated the gluten free options. Early 4:30 PM dinner on 5/2/25. * Note: You can use the public parking lot across the street for $6 an hour vs the valet at the restaurant. I don't want kids driving my vehicle. We have been coming to Virginia Beach off/on for 24 years and dining at Waterman's each trip. 3 years since our last visit. Walk in. No reservation. Seated promptly inside as requested. Our standard order for two orange crushes placed. These crushes had very little actual orange taste and more ice than drink. $9.25 each. We have the drink recipe from Waterman's and make them at home regularly with the original Burnett's orange vodka. These crushes were made with the new Waterman's orange branded vodka. Didn't order any more. My wife's salmon salad and crab cake were very good. My lobster tail and sides were also good. A lot of flies inside the restaurant detracted from the meal. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. We don't care about your allergies, vibes, how "chill" you feel, or the need for gluten free food. **If you see a Google review posted with just stars & no text, report it via the 3 dot selection adjacent to the review. If the text in the review doesn't describe the food/service report it. This cleans up Google reviews and removes the slugs just trying to get reviewer points by marking a star or "paid" reviewers. If the review doesn’t help people decide whether to utilize this business or go to this place it's worthless.

My first time here! Having celiac disease makes it very difficult to eat out. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Our food was top notch and even pointed out the spiced mustard was not gluten free. I never eat a full dish and I cleared my plate. I believe our server was Alainna! We definitely will recommend and spread the word! Thank you for a great evening!

My Husband and I go to Rudee's each year after the VA BEACH BOAT SHOW. I now have to Gluten Free and was afraid there wouldn't be much I'd eat there now...I am beyond thankful to see ALL THE GF ITEMS!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SUCH A BIG GF MENU!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

I asked the waitress about the lemon Alfredo special that had tomatoes and asparagus and you could get chicken or shrimp with. She said i couldn't get it gluten free, but then sent the manager over to discuss the menu with me. He went over the ingredients with me and I was able to get it. The Alfredo was safe and they have gf bow ties that are absolutely delicious. The dish was so creamy and good. My mouth is watering thinking about it! I really appreciated the time they took to come over and talk to me and make me feel comfortable. Shout out to the staff.

Amazing food and good pricing. Great team! Ben took very good care of me...GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS GALORE! They don't advertise it, and you wouldn't expect it at a pub, but I was very pleasantly surprised that they have a GF alternative for almost everything bread! Muffins, buns, etc.

One thing a GF person can count on is good food and dessert at Outback. We both had a Cobb salad and shared the chocolate thunder from down under. Gluten free made delicious.
