We went on a slow Saturday for lunch. Very kind and friendly service. Excellent pizza. One in our party has Celiac disease and truly loved the GF crust. Would highly recommend!
We can to Jackson’s twice while on vacation and loved it both times! The smash burger is delicious and the loaded tots and fries are so yummy! Our twins have celiac and could have homemade fried chicken tenders and fries safely which is a huge treat.
The ice cream is sooo creamy and delicious and the twins even got to have gluten free cones! The single scoop is a LOT of ice cream.
The service was great, everyone was friendly.
Great small family mom and pop italian food, reasonable size gluten free menu, but the staff seemed a bit unknowledgeable about cross contamination. Very good food though
ERIC IS THE RUDEST WAITER I HAVE EVER HAD. We had some basic questions (do you have salad? Do you have gluten free bread) and he was so upset at us for asking questions. When he refilled our drinks he literally ripped them off the table in irritation and then flung them back at us. He treated us like garbage.
Powder River pizza is definitely a Wyoming environment. The Gluten free pizza was phenomenal and I swear something about the cheese is just so good, and to add our waiter/server his name was Colin. He was the sweetest person and had a really fun personality always checking on my table making jokes. Would recommend for fast service and GF options
Used to love this place. They had a dedicated fryer for French fries and gluten free bun. We went last week and they were out of just about everything and I was told no they don’t have a dedicated fryer at the moment. I had to have a side salad due to my allergy. I hope they fix it soon. The burger was a bit dry but the service was fantastic even though they were slammed busy. They did have a gluten free bun and cleaned the grill which was nice.
We got 2 steak cobb salads to go. They were delicious but not much salad on either of them. It was more like a side salad with toppings. A bit disappointing realizing there wasn't much volume after we already left. $16 for this salad/each 🙁 We are driving across the state and was hoping to make it to idaho without stopping again for food.
We would go back again but next time we will check the containers and/or ask for more salad.
Gluten-free options!
I had been here a couple of times and they did great especially when we found out we could get gluten free items. I went today and asked for a gluten free bun and was given a regular bun. They remade it for me to go and still was a regular bun.
Resently found out I was diabetic so I asked if they had anything gluten free. They do indeed. So I had them make a califlour crust, with mozzarella cheese, avocado, mushroomed and applewood smoked chicken! Fantastic! Place was very clean and smelled great!
We really enjoyed the curries here. Good vibe. Heads up that when we visited some of the items on the online menu that are marked gluten free have changed and are no longer available to be made gluten free.
Do you know why the Blue Lion has been serving food for forty years? I will tell you: the blue lion is exceptional! In every way it stands out. The service was sublime, and even entertaining at times. I had the scallops, Eddie had trout. The flavors and texture were superior. I cook fish and well. But this restaurant has invested in a cook who knows what he is doing.
Eddie and I had a table just inside the entrance to the patio. Adorning our view were big leafy plants, green trees, clean windows. It was as though we, tired climbers that we were, had stumbled on an oasis. Our waiter told us the funniest of stories we knew too well- drunk drivers in Denver! The rest of the staff was respectfully kind and warm. My Grand Marnier was lush and plentiful. The desert was awesome. The salad was excellent and came straight from the back yard garden I’m sure. I recommend the Blue Lion for excellent cuisine, romance, a slow dinner, and atmosphere. The time flew by. Honestly we found it hard to leave. Oh lest I forget they had two outstanding gluten free meal choices and many choices for vegetables. Yum and yum!
I am allergic to the oils most places fry their food in. Found this place, and they still use beef lard!!! I have a burger on a gluten free bun and fries for the first time in years! I cannot tell you how happy I am with the food and the service! Absolutely amazing!
We stayed at Cottonwood Cabins, just a short stroll from the Bear Trap. We went there for happy hour and dinner our first night, and ended up going three nights in a row! There were two servers/hosts during our visits, and both did an amazing job of getting you seated, taking orders, and bringing food out, all while being great to talk to. They made it fun to be there. Local beers were really good, we really liked the Speed Goat, a lighter beer with great taste.
As for the food, we enjoyed everything we tried: gluten-free pizza, burgers, flank steak salad, prime french dip, and the hand-cut fries. One evening our server recommended that we snag a couple mini blueberry pies on our way out. We did, and they were fantastic! We love the Riverside/Encampment/Snowy Range area, and we'll definitely be back, and the Bear Trap will be part of the reason we return. Thanks, everyone!

Great dinner experience with the family. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Daughter and I are celiac and Gather had several delicious offerings. Definitely recommend for other celiacs as well as those without any dietary restrictions.
This place was a real treat. The atmosphere was as expected in eastern Wyoming. Cowboy motif. Lots of local folks and a good mix of tourists. I had the bison burger with gluten free bun. My wife had tenderloin tips. All good. We liked our waitress. She was fun and knowledgeable. Overall a good experience.
Delicious pizza with all kinds of different toppings. There is a drive up window, lots of alcohol to try, including beer on tap and sangria. Friendly staff and parking on both sides and out front. There are gluten free options too!
Bought the Trifecta ticket and glad we did! The vibe was so welcoming. Plenty of food and they ensured that as a coeliac I knew what was gluten free and safe to eat. The show was good fun and engaging. The rodeo itself is just a short walk away.
I took my Mom on a celebration trip to Jaxon Hole. It was hard to find places with Gluten-free options for her. The Mang Moose actually had several options for her. Our waitress was so nice and made sure that my Mom didn't eat anything that she couldn't. I really appreciated that because we had a bad experience at a different restaurant the day before. The food was delicious and we both ate too much. We will definitely be back.
I visited the restaurant mainly because I must keep away from gluten. They said they had gluten-free options, which is what I ordered. The order was fulfilled quickly, the food tasted good and the experience with the staff would be average if the order was fulfilled correctly. But my gluten-free order was a gluten-laden version instead and I got sick as a result.
Incompetent and careless staff who get their customers sick is inexcusable for a restaurant in my mind.
Ordered takeout from here a few weeks ago and everything was awesome! I'd been craving BBQ and Pokey's definitely hit the spot. We got a variety of entree items and ordered the fried green tomatoes gluten free- a simple dish, but always a treat to find GF fried items. Also the bison skewers were excellent!
Mid-Mod and GF Friendly: this place has a great vibe, great for conversation and casual drinks. An assortment of beers, cocktails, and wines in addition to appetizers. They note some appetizers as Gluten Free (GF). Mixed drinks are named after the movies that were shown way back in the day when the Paramount was the Paramount Theater. Enjoy!
This may be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food was great, the service was awesome, and our experience was fantastic. My wife is celiac, and they were able to accommodate. It was a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it for a once-in-a-while outing.
Called ahead to check for gluten free options when we arrived they didn’t t have those options and said they don’t make that gluten free food. Everything was pre frozen steak fries. had been smeared in sauce and the burger patty was burnt and definitely frozen
The new manager has really done a great job here. The food was always good, but the service has improved to match it. Some menu choices are a very good value, such as the 3 for me. They have a gluten sensitive menu, which is helpful for those with food allergies.

A neat brewery in Cody that locals and tourists alike enjoy. Also for celiacs they have gluten-free burger buns and gluten-free beer and cider. Service is great, prices reasonable, food yummy! Especially their fries 😋
Food was great! There were options for the vegan, the dairy intolerant, the gluten free eaters, and the fry lovers! It was very speedy service as well. The only con was that it was quite stuffy in the spot we were seated. After coming in from the hot street we weren't loving that. Otherwise, awesome!
Delicious and they accommodated my gluten and dairy allergies. All of our meals were superb. I had the Wall-eye and hand cut fries. The fries were crisp and not greasy at all. My son had the prime rib, which he found delicious. My husband and daughter got burgers and found them to be yummy. The service was friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend them.
I love the Library! The servers get everything right, the drinks are amazing, and they offer gluten-free buns and pizza crusts! I've lived here 10 years now, and I can always depend on the Library being a fun, consistent place to eat and drink.
We came for the delicious food passing through on vacation! It was a great restaurant to stop for a full meal, including dessert (and even a gluten free option). The art for sale is unique and reasonable. Loved that all was local made. What a gem!
