In the land of sushi in Vancouver this restaurant hits at a solid okay. I say that because it advertises itself as gluten free which was the main draw for us. We made a reservation which seems like it’s mandatory. The tuna tataki, karaage and tempura we ordered was great. The gyoza was a big let down. It was made with rice paper and resembled an egg roll more but it also fell apart and came stacked on top of each other. I wouldn’t consider them gyoza. The service was okay but once the restaurant was half full it was non existent. Something that most may not care about but I noticed was we all got different plates and there were no side plates for soy sauce or other sauces. Table setting was lack luster. For gluten free it was decent but I hope they continue to work on their GF options into the future.

Gluten-free specialty store. I was very satisfied with the taste, which didn't feel like it was gluten-free. The employees are kind and it's a recommended place. Some people can also speak Korean.

Regular crust pizza is okay but not remarkable. Gluten-friendly crust pizza leaves to be desired. Home artisan potatoes are soft and don’t taste freshly made at all. Customer service is great; very thorough with modifications. We enjoyed their home made lemonade.

Wow! We are completely in love with this place! We stopped by for Father's Day because my husband is celiac, and we were so thrilled with the experience. First of all, we absolutely loved that they have separate fryers, and had already heard great things about the care they take with gluten-free food - they did not disappoint! There were so many amazing options. I’m now officially obsessed with their Beet & Pear salad, I was literally texting my friends while eating it because it was that good. My husband had the gluten-free chicken burger, which was super flavourful and perfectly crispy. And our toddler had the gluten-free chicken fingers and mac & cheese, she can be a picky eater, but she gobbled it all up! To top it off, we had the London Fog Crème Brûlée - not only was it delicious, but the portion was huge! We loved the whole experience and will definitely be back. I wish I had snapped a photo of the salad, but I did get one of the crème brûlée!

Our poutine came out just warm, but was tasty. The onion rings were really good. Cool vibe in there. Fantastic gluten free and vegan options. Totally vegetarian restaurant.

Service and atmosphere are great but food is beyond mid and overpriced considering the lack of real flavour, definitely not the most enjoyable sushi, iki is miles better for gluten free folks. But this place was alright.

What a great place for a Celiac to eat. Not only do they have a Gluten Free menu but they also have a dedicated part of the kitchen to prepare food With a dedicated fryer. A couple of options for a great GF beer as well.

I will however that the very busy bartender didn't know of his own establishments policies and practices surrounding gluten free. Everything is prepared separately. Use an app like find me GF if you want a more accurate picture of any establishment.

Always a great experience! Especially the young lad helped a lady up out of her seat which impressed us! We took the time to tell him and the owner how impressed we were….. as a side note VERY celiac friendly which is why we went in the first place! This place will not disappoint….. Great all around. We came here as we had a celiac in the group and almost everything on the menu was gf. Everything was delicious, big menu, great desserts, and our server was very nice.

Always LOVE Sansho Sushi, and visit often. They are always busy with dine-in and take out orders, which tells you it’s a great spot. Never had to wait for a table though, and the staff are always friendly & attentive no matter the time or day. Excellent selection of boxes and special items. The highlight is the gluten free menu!! Super thankful for a sushi spot that offers so many gluten free options- including teriyaki!! I love their chicken teriyaki roll, V4 roll (vegetable) and spicy salmon roll. The miso soup is also Gf and delicious.

El Taquero recently catered our wedding. They were absolutely incredible in all aspects. They had an exceptional team during the lead up to the event. On the day of they were extremely organized, personable with our guests, and the food was AMAZING! They managed allergies and took great care with my celiac disease. Very disappointing to say the least, save your money and go somewhere else. Both deep fried dishes came cold and soggy from sitting on the pass while we waited for an entree salad and a burger to catch up. $4 for a gluten free bun is absurd but good on the bartenders for a delicious spicy marg. Kelowna local but I’ll never go back!

My family and I had a great experience. With the exception of root beer, there was something on the menu for all of us. A lot of gluten free options as well as Vegan and plant based. Good healthy and delicious options as well. And then there was the burgers that were very satisfying. Really nice restaurant. Option of sitting where it's quiet or in the lounge where there's a great social vibe going on.

We needed gluten free and we were very happy to know that they have a dedicated gluten free menu and they use a dedicated gluten free fryer for their food. It can be really hard to find a lot of places like this, but this is by far my favourite place to eat in Victoria! I really want to thank everyone there who made it very easy to find safe food for us.

Loved our experience at Minami - we had a bunch of dietary restrictions and were celebrating our wedding which they thoughtfully provided us with a surprise dairy free/ gluten free dessert 🙏🏼 service was excellent, we loved the aburis, brussel sprouts (try it!) and how fresh the sashimi was!

We crossed Canada in Westfalia in the summer of 2024 and we took the opportunity to discover the country's microphones. I'm celiac so I have to say that usually while my husband enjoyed the local beers I had to settle for a cider or a gin and tonic! I was SO excited to get to the Whistler Brewing Company knowing that they have 2 gluten-free beer options! Indescribable moment of my trip to have an (ok... 2!!!) EXCELLENT gluten-free beers on the terrace! My husband loved his “flight” too! The relaxed atmosphere as well as the exceptional (and French-speaking!!!) service are also worthy of mention!

Came here after a day of skiing near banff, and what an unbelievable experience. Every course we got was top notch. We started with the Thai mussels- the sauce was flavorful and perfectly balanced. For dinner, I got the beef bourginone, which was hearty and really delicious, and we got for dessert a lavender crème bruelle. An added item- dined here with a gluten free friend, and they were very accommodating. This is a top notch restaurant- i feel this is on par with a Michelin star restaurant

We went to riptide last week and our server didn’t know what celiac was and said the fries were gluten free but they were in the same fryer as gluten food. When I didn’t tip her because I got gluten in my meal as a celiac, she acted like a child and chucked the card machine at my friends and didn’t talk to us.
