A 100% gluten-free cafe in Vienna - if that isn't a dream!
They also serve the famous Sachertorte in a gluten-free version. Due to my stone fruit allergy, I opted for the brownie and cheesecake. Both slices were moist, rich, and delicious! They were also not expensive, which I was pleasantly surprised to see. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately, only cash payments are accepted - in my opinion, this should finally be abolished in Europe...
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A portafilter machine for perfect espresso and other beverages is available!

It’s bizarre that this place doesn’t offer a nut-free strudel, even though they have about 20 different kinds. They do consider gluten-free options — although they didn’t have any available at the time either. What bothered me most was the way it was handled: I asked if the strudels contained nuts, and got a careless response — “I don’t know…” Only then did she think to ask her colleague whether any of them contained nuts.

We went for breakfast. We found a comfortable place since we went early in the morning. We ordered two different breakfasts. In my breakfast, the tomatoes that were supposed to be roasted were not roasted, but the breakfast was delicious. The cheese dumpling soup (gluten-free) was wonderfully flavorful, the Wiesenheim pancakes (Pfandl) were super delicious, and I even had them with rice as a gluten-free option. And to top it all off, the gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes) was an absolute dream! 😍
