Way overpriced for what you get... Was charged $3 extra for the gluten-free crust (which was overcooked). They had two different types of blaring music playing, and are waitress did not come and check on us until our meal was almost gone. We had to flag somebody down that was walking by. It wasn't busy in there at all.
Great breakfast and lunch place, nothing too fancy but many unusual options. Coffee is good, and they have gluten free bread.
A mixture of traditional breakfast items plus some truck-stop specials that are comfort food.
Prices moderate,easy parking
We came here for the gluten free pasta options and it did not disappoint. All of our food was amazing. 10/10 recommend!!! Don’t sleep on this restaurant
this place is fantastic ! the waiter was very knowledgeable and the menu clearly states what is gluten free. they have so many options!
all waffles are gluten free and delicious. I will be back for sure!
I've been coming here for over a month and I have yet to try anything I didn't like. I never expected a coffee shop to have much to offer for breakfast beyond a decent pastry or two, however I was pleasantly suprised with their breakfast burritos. The fillings are seasoned so well! Their gluten items are delicious, especially thier pumpkin breakfast bars. I always show up right when they open and the staff is wide awake and friendly every time. Such a wonderful experiance!
Tonight we had absolutely GREAT service from our server John Michael. My son's fiance is gluten free and he was very attentive to our needs. And our food was really good, as usual. I would highly recommend this location.
We tried the Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge for the first time and were delighted with our experience. The food was fresh and delicious. I like trying chilaquiles at different places and making comparisons. The ones here rated among the top 3. We also had gluten free waffles which were some of the best gluten free items I've ever had. My wife had the Sonoran Crepes and absolutely loved them. Our server, Tad, told us about the restaurant's history and mission which was fascinating. They have many vegan options as well as their gluten free options.
So many Gluten Free options! It was a delight to be able to dine without worrying about what I could eat. There was even a delicious cheese bread option! The variety of meats was astounding and the food just kept on coming! A great spot for date night!
Great place, environment and Staff! Loved the Cuban and the personable nature of all the employees! I love that they have Gluten Free options as well. Definitely will be coming back!
What a wonderful experience! We came with a group of 9 including all ages and gluten allergies. When they heard we had celiac disease they cleaned and wiped down the area and made our food separately. They have a dedicated fryer for their fries and also have gluten free buns. Most of the burgers and sandwiches can be prepared gluten free. Everyone that was working there was kind and happy and didn’t act like they were put out at all for the extra work for our food allergy. It was just a really good time. The food was also really good! Thank you for a great meal!
I went to Broken Yolk in California because it has good gluten free options for my sister. Then I saw a mailer advertising it here in Mesa. Anyway, I decided to take friends of mine that were visiting from out of town, and boy was I proud of my selection. The wait staff was sweet, went out of their way to be helpful, and the food was spectacular! There were 4 of us, so 4 different meals, and each of our dishes was so great, that we all shared bites of eachothers meals. I love Monte Cristo's, but i've struggled to find one done well outside of Disneyland. Now my search is over, the Broken Yolk has succeeded! As I said though, each of our meals was wonderful. I plan on making them one of my staple restaurants to go out to with friends and family!
They accommodate those with gluten free diets nicely. Awesome sandwiches, great desserts. Staff is wonderful and helpful. We went with someone elderly and they were also very patient. :-)
Great coffee and teas. Gluten free cinnamon rolls are the best you can get in the area. Sandwiches are simple and good. Day oats and over night oats both are excellent and my choice.
Just ordered 2 hummus wraps, gluten free. One tortilla was hard, couldn't chew it. One had hummus only on one side, and neither had any veggies other than lettuce and tomatoes. We ordered avacado on them, and there was a TINY sliver on each. Won't be returning.
Took my niece out to breakfast. The food was good, service was good the food didn't come out at the same time and waited a little long for my gluten free toast which was strange. But all I all we had a good experience we drove a little out of our way to eat here.
Had quick availability for 6. Comfortable seats, a great atmosphere. Super polite staff. Great gluten free options!
Good modern feel without being over the top or expensive. We fed 6 for under 100.
If you need to eat gluten free Schlotzsky's has great options. They have gluten free bread for thier tasty sandwiches, they have surprisingly good gluten free pizza. I tried both and was not disappointed. Schlotzsky's is awesome 👍

I have to say that I definitely found my favorite coffee shop!
The place is super nice and quite spacious.
I love that they have vegan and gluten free desserts. Plus the flavor is delicious!
The staff is super friendly, I had the opportunity to interact with the owner and the guy who prepares the desserts and they have a super cute vibe and are very friendly.
I fell in love with the Orange latte 😍, it's a seasonal flavor but I hope they leave it as part of the menu.
Good flavor, I loved the balance of flavors.
In relation to the price and quality I found it excellent.
Lastly, I loved that it has this “pin exchange” activity.
So when you go, take your pin or you can buy at the store next door.
Food is great and gluten-free friendly, but portions can be a bit small.
It's been packed every time we go and seemingly the waiting staff spread thin (open tables but no seating) so we've always sat at the bar. Service is great once you get it.
Unfortunately, though there's are tons of windows, all there is to look at is a parking lot and a freeway. Not much of a "watch".
All that said, prices are comparable to IHOP and Dennys with better service and atmosphere, so we prefer First Watch.
I love hood service and when the food is gluten free grilled chicken and waffle fries it makes an excellent experience!
Thank you so much for being so kind!!!
I'm gluten free, so ordered the brisket. To die for! Best BBQ sauce I've ever tasted. My husband had a burrito and he said it was the best burrito he's ever had. Hand made tortillas that he said was light and tasty.
I really like this place great breakfast if you can get there before it ends and they have GLUTEN FREE BREAD for sandwiches. They also have coffee and green chile. The prices are reasonable and food quality is good!
I came here on the recommendation of my fellow celiac. She said the gluten free waffles are great & she has never had issues. I came here on 2/13 with family & asked about the GF waffles. The server said that it would be a wait since they have one waffle maker & it gets cleaned for a gluten free waffle order. I said fantastic. No issues waiting.
All of our food came out very quickly, including the GF waffle. I mentioned how quick it was & was told that very few waffles had been made that morning so it was quick to do the order.
Everyone enjoyed their food, & the service was good. When we were walking out, I started having pain & had to rush home due to gluten contamination. I now doubt they cleaned the waffle maker.
So a warning to those with celiac disease- be wary of getting the waffles.
Asked about gluten free options and the lady said it’s a bagel shop . We have one option as we looked at all the danishes and muffins and cookies that were there none of them were gluten-free and the front of the door says it’s a café if it’s a bagel shop then please why is it a cafe . Rude about pointing out that it’s a bagel shop. I wonder they had a gluten-free bagel, but after the lady that atmosphere just felt like we didn’t belong
My friends’ beloved spot that I finally got to try! I have to be gluten free and the server explained a good number of dishes that could be made GF which I super appreciate. Shared the twice cooked pork, cumin lamb and a-choy in garlic sauce and everything was delicious, the pork especially. I can’t imagine you can order a bad dish. So much flavor!
Great vegan friendly coffee shop and cafe. Lots of plants, good vibes, two big clean bathrooms, free parking lot, outdoor seating and happy staff!
No dedicated gluten free offerings on the menu.
So happy that they offer vegan and gluten free food. It is great to have a choice to eat with my family when we are out and about and I'm not limited to a side salad or French fries
Ohh my giddy aunt! that burger slaps harder than a cold beer on a Saturday morning. Their gluten free and vegan options were just astounding. thank you phoenix, I feel at home.
Went here for a late lunch while visiting the area. What a gem! I'm Gluten free and researched somewhere with Mexican cuisine to eat. Gluten free is easy here- corn tortillas (tacos and enchiladas and even a quesadilla are available in corn) and just don't get the red sauce, the green is fine. I had the rolled taquitos and the 2 enchiladas plate with chicken and shredded beef in green sauce. Highly recommend the shredded beef with green sauce, it was delicious. My non Gluten free companions had the fajitas burrito and 2 street Taco plates, and we shared chips and guac. The chips Salsa is delicious. Truly not a single complaint. There was a steady steam of customers the entire time, which tells you something when it's a week day and off-lunch hours. Highly recommend and would definitely go back!
This is decidedly one of my very favorite breakfast places...this visit was, I think the 2nd or 3rd visit in about a week and a half! I eat a low carb, gluten-free diet and most places have pre-planned plates that include bread and potatoes which I will not eat but have to pay for. Morning Glory's menu allows for ordering the foods I WILL eat, a la carte for a reasonable price! I am a huge fan!
I would recommend this place for gluten-free food. Excellent gluten-free desserts and a gluten-free breakfast sandwich. The chai tea was OK but surprisingly this coffee shop is a perfect stop for gluten-free customers.
Charbroil, good . But the sauce make less tasty too me. It’s ok. If I would order it again I would order it plain. Large burger 🍔, fries pretty good wish it was little more. Gluten. I seen on the menu a haven burger which is pastrami burger . Sounds tasty. Next time… I think like the sign says California style. On burger there is salad dressing on vegetable s. Different . It takes away from the meatiness and charbroil. I Can taste charbroil but it’s over powering on all the rest of taste. If your like me ask for plain if you like it that way. Its still good. Different but good. I can’t wait to try other stuff on menu. it is quite Smokey in the store . Quite busy for lunch hour… seem like regulars. Allot of chattering and socializing. Very social atmosphere. Everyone seem to be tuned in.
So thrilled to have a healthy option for busy days finally! The gluten free options are great and everything is seasoned perfectly! Feels like more of a home cooked meal versus a grab and go! Thank you for being here Natalie & the Fresh Prep team!
Always a good experience from my friendly neighborhood Taco bell! Baja blast is my favorite and being gluten free my go to is the pinto beans with cheese and red sauce, and crunchy taco supreme YUM
As a gluten free eater, I was concerned as always about dining at a family diner. However, our server was knowledgeable about the issues, and the food was great! I'm thankful to have found this great "hole in the wall" out east!
Arepas in Arizona? Yes, please! While visiting my mom in AZ I dragged her here to try something new. She has Celiacs and is sometimes wary about trying new places and cuisines, I assured her that the Venezuelan diet is naturally gluten-free. We both enjoyed our meal and beverages and I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.
What a culinary delight! I only wish I had taken pictures so you could see how amazing the food is. Everyone here is happy! What a hidden gem! You simply must go. Several gluten free options too.
This place has a great atmosphere. We walked in and it immediately felt welcome. They have a menu full of delicious choices including gluten free and vegan. It’s a combo of family friendly meets sports bar. They have live music too.
A+
