It was a treat for my little one to walk into a place and pick what ever he wanted. He usually has to settle for dairy& gluten free option, if they have one. Thank you!!!
Healthy, tasty & great ambience doesn’t happen often. AngelicDeserts is much more than the name implies. Excellent for breakfast and lunch. Great Vegan & gluten free options. Really some of the best in Naples. The Mediterranean sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had. Hummus, some special sauce with colorful peppers and a layer of arugula topped with cucumbers and olives - amazing. Oh, and they make incredible cakes and every decadent dessert you could imagine! Enjoy
OMG - Excellent! It was our first time here and we loved it. The gluten free choices are off the chart - what cafe has GF wraps, buns, bread, waffles, English muffins and bagels??? Love that so much is gluten free and our food was great. Hubby had the acai bowl with a GF bagel and I had a smoothie with the falafel salad. This definitely will be our "Go To" spot when on Fifth.
A gem in Naples. Had dinner tonight, wonderful. Lots of Gluten free options. 5 of us with a variety of dishes. All great. Don’t leave without having the Cheesecake. Nice atmosphere , comfortable chairs, good music..
Everything about this place is great except the prices. Food was great. Portions were stingy. If you are going to charge $20 for a pizza it had better be loaded. 9$ for a small snifter of kombucha? $58 for two skimpy 14” pizzas, lemonade, and kombucha. Also up charged for gluten free 2$. Come on. Seriously? Then add 12$ to tip the waitress what she absolutely deserved. $70 for lunch. Do not appreciate the gouge.
The best cold brew I've ever had. Employees were amazing & helped me choose an order. My favorite coffee spot. Food was top notch too & almost everything gluten free
Perfect food! We ordered the cannelloni… and it was DELICIOUS!!!
For celiacs, they have GLUTEN-FREE pizza and pasta options!!!
Jenny served us very politely and graciously! Thank you so much for your kindness!
Good food and good prices too!
This place is worth visiting!!!
Love the coffee and the experience. Coffee beans used provide significant strength but smooth flavor. Staff is very friendly and breakfast pastries are gluten free and taste home baked. Well mannered digs allowed inside. Tables and chairs are very appealing allowing for a peaceful, enjoyable experience.
We had a fantastic breakfast! Our server, Kaylin, was incredibly knowledgeable about celiac needs, ensured the kitchen was aware, and our food came out quickly, can’t wait to return!
As Italians, we decided to try this place in Naples as our first evening here. Attracted by the menu and above all by the gluten free options we stopped without a reservation, after waiting for about 1 hour (there were really a lot of people) they kindly found us a table. Even though the owner was very busy, he found a place for us and made us sit. The service in general is average, twice they brought us two dishes that were supposed to be gluten free but which were not (presence of bread on the plate) but the friendliness and timeliness of the owner corrected the oversights. The food is very good and truly plentiful, the prices in line with the place. The place is very beautiful and dining out was magical. 5 stars for the excellent dishes, homemade, and above all gluten free (homemade gluten free pizza, excellent gluten free caprese cake), excellent pappardelle with pesto and prawns and also the tagliolini alla pescatora, I highly recommend this place for Italians and otherwise! Well done!
Since moving from NY, I've been searching for an Indian restaurant. I'm glad to say my search is over as Le Indya is my go to spot. Everything was delicious and clearly marked on the menu. As someone with a nut allergy it was so refreshing to see a menu notate what was gluten free/nut free/dairy free and the spice levels. My chicken vindaloo was the best I've ever had. The portion sizes exceed what you pay for, which is refreshing in the current climate of high prices. I took my wife and father in law, both of which have never tried Indian cuisine and cannot handle spice beyond a little black pepper. They ordered the lamb kashmiri and tandoori chicken. Both loved their food and we took our leftovers home to enjoy again for dinner. We will be coming back for more!
If you're contemplating a visit, don't hesitate! The establishment offers tremendous service, a delightful ambiance, and meticulous attention to their dishes. I thoroughly appreciated my dining experience. A special acknowledgment goes out to Dorukan for his attentive service and in-depth knowledge of the menu. He made my friend's experience worry-free despite her gluten allergy, as he had all gluten-related concerns well-managed.
Incredibly large but tasty portions, but you can always have the leftovers packed up to take away.
The food is great, like in all factories, and the cake is self-explanatory fantastic.
Some gluten-free dishes on offer
The heaters on the terrace were a bit irritating.
The food was so fresh! We had the Caesar salad and the butter burger w/gluten free bun. A flawless gluten free experience for my lil newly diagnosed celiac sidekick. Thank you Rooster!
If you're looking for a delightful breakfast spot with an upscale, European feel, look no further than Jane's Cafe on 3rd Street. My family and I have dined here multiple times and have always enjoyed the fun ambiance, top-notch food quality, and outstanding service.
The cafe's outdoor seating area is a favorite spot of ours, with a beautiful fountain, and an open-air setting that adds to the overall cultured ambiance. We appreciate that Jane's Cafe is accommodating to dietary restrictions and provides gluten-free options.
This morning, my family and I indulged in a delicious breakfast at Jane's Cafe. I had the classic eggs benedict, and it continues to be the best I've ever tasted. The canadien bacon was perfectly cooked, and the English muffin was freshly toasted, adding an extra layer of flavor to the dish. The eggs and hollandaise sauce were nuanced, delicious, subtle, and perfect. My wife had the hot chocolate, which she proclaimed as the best she's had in Naples. We were pleased that Jane's was able to provide gluten-free French toast for my wife and daughter, and it was just as delicious as the regular version.
The quality of ingredients at Jane's Cafe is exceptional, and you can see that they get fresh bread every day as you peek into the kitchen. The service was friendly, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, Jane's Cafe on 3rd Street is highly recommended, and it's one of our favorite restaurants in Naples. With everything on the menu being delicious, you're sure to find something that you'll love. If you're in the mood for breakfast, don't miss out on the best eggs benedict in Naples.
The food was fantastic! The owner Jorge was very welcoming and passionate about his food - a great guide to the menu and we are glad we trusted his recommendations and tried different new things. Pollo and Cuban sandwich were superb!
Virgin mojitos were refreshing and delicious. Flan was one of the best we’ve ever had!
Great gluten free options.
Can I give 6 stars for service? Pavlin took great care of my girlfriend and I.
The food was excellent, nutritious, and all gluten free.
Expect to spend about $24 a plate after tax.
We found the Trail Cafe during the Fourth of July weekend. We have become regular patrons. The food is fresh. The gluten free bread is AMAZING!!! We just bought a loaf to take home. I highly recommend. THE STAFF IS GREAT. God bless😊🙏🙏🙏
Love their fresh squeezed orange juice! They have a very nice menu with many gluten free options (including waffles and pancakes), though be cautious as there will be normal cross contamination (to be expected in a busy restaurant) though it is worth once in a while! It's nice to feel semi normal and be able to order almost anything off the breakfast menu!
Skillets is an amazing restaurant! Been going there for years, and this location was especially nice due to it not being overly crowded. It’s a gluten-free paradise with gigantic waffles and pancakes, and their new gluten-free biscuits are delicious, sweet, and soft! Staff was wonderful and friendly, and restaurant was clean. I’ll definitely be going back!
Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Food was well prepared, i.e., scrambled eggs were eggcellent. Also had there grits, which were also good and a gluten free English muffin. We were served our food pretty quickly considering that they were fairly busy. A nice neighborhood spot.
Cage free eggs along with, gluten free bread is available. They have morning cocktails you can order, and their menu is reasonably priced. I recommend their you pick two for lunch. You have the option of either, half sandwich, soup and salad all for under $15.00!
My wife and I enjoyed a great dinner. We really enjoyed the French atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were polite and attentive. The food was exceptional. Along with our starters escargot and French onion soup, the beef bourguignon was outstanding. They were also able to accommodate gluten free options. We will definitely be back.
Sandra was wonderful! Placed a specialty Gluten Free Key Lime Pie she was so accommodating & the pie was delicious!
Such a cute little cafe, will be back the next time we are in town and will definitely recommend to others! Thanks again Sandra!
My husband and I love french food and we were so excited to try out this restaurant, it did not disappoint. We loved it. Our server was Zoran, we truly had one of the best dining experiences with him. Zoran was so warm, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dinner. We ordered margaritas that had a salt foam, Wow that was incredible, one of the most delightful cocktails I have ever had. We then ordered French onion soup...Wow it was so decadent and delicious, the best I have ever had and we have had french onion soups in Paris that weren't this good. Salivating just thinking about it. We ordered the mussels and Wagyu NY strip with fingering potatoes. Both dishes were so so good, so flavorful and delectable. For dessert we had the chocolate soufflé.. again another winner. Every course was delight. Also I have to mention both my husband and I are gluten free and Zoran was so knowledgeable on which dishes we could enjoy safely. Most of the dishes can be done gluten free and this was so great. Some restaurants have very limited gluten free options. I highly recommend this restaurant, we love visiting Naples and this our new favorite restaurant there.
The Elvis PB was to doe for. The chicken and waffles were amazing too. I had a breakfast with avacado and gluten free toast. The gluten free toast was some of the best I have ever had.
Vasi took care of us majority of our trip and we sincerely have nothing but amazing things to say about his service. He accommodated our gluten allergy everyday and even made our birthday special. Thank you for being such a fresh breath of air! Adriano finished the night off with a beautiful birthday song in Italian. It truly made the night so special. Thank you guys again!
We went in with a large group and Mike served us. He was calm, accommodating, professional and knew the menu items.
The food was good and served very quickly. We would go back if in the area again.
The Greek omelet was really good, the fruit was cut fresh and they had gluten free pancakes.
We are from Minnesota and were looking for somewhere quick to eat while out and about after visiting Naples Zoo. I came across Mel’s Diner online and we decided to stop in. I’m so glad we did! Prices are very reasonable and the food was SO good! It was a classic All-American diner with lots of options. I’m gluten-free so I opted for Philly Cheese Steak with no bun. It was delicious and so much food! Service was quick and friendly.
Excellent seafood and gluten free friendly. Also, by request can accommodate a dairy allergy. Our server Petar R was attentive and a very hard worker. The drinks were fresh. Patio is inviting! Will eat here again.
It's such a beautiful little spot. I had the mushroom toast with recotta and arugula. It was delicious! The gluten-free bread was yummy, too. My daughter really enjoyed the French toast made with it. We will definitely be back and recommending to our friends.
I had the gluten free pizza and the other 4 had the Gatsby brunch and we were all happy. None of us ordered alcoholic beverages like we usually do because of the super high prices. The atmosphere was lovely but I deducted a star because once a singer with guitar started it was so loud that all conversation had to come to an end. The place had just opened and very few people were there and there seemed to be plenty of servers but it took quite a while for our server to take our orders!
As someone living with celiac disease since 2015, finding restaurants with reliable gluten-free options is essential for me. Lake Park Diner used to be one of my go-to spots, where I've enjoyed a diverse range of gluten-free choices over the years. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me deeply disheartened.
In the past, Lake Park Diner prided itself on offering a selection of gluten-free sandwich bread, buns, and various safe, non-fried vegetable options. However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed to find that the staff seemed unaware of how to accommodate my dietary needs. And, the person who waited on me was incredibly impatient. Their uncertainty regarding whether the Caesar dressing was gluten-free and the misrepresentation of "roasted" sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts as fried options that could not be done gluten-free only added to my disappointment, as these have always been safe gluten-free options in the past.
While I appreciate the insight into the reasons behind the menu changes, I respectfully disagree. I understand the risks associated with dining out with dietary restrictions, but it's disheartening to see the removal of gluten-free labeling from the menu. This decision undermines Lake Park Diner’s previous efforts to provide inclusive options for patrons like myself.
My recent experience at Lake Park Diner fell short of my expectations as a gluten-free diner. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, and improvements are made to ensure that all customers, regardless of their dietary needs, can enjoy a positive dining experience.
