This place is amazing!! The food, the service, everything! If you’re looking for nshima, fufu, or any type of African/Caribbean cuisine this is the spot. The peanut butter chicken stew was so good. They have a ton of gluten free/vegan options as well. And the owner is a saint to boot, very welcoming and helpful.

My cousin and I had Isabella’s for the first time. I have celiac and there were so many options, but better yet the food was incredible. Every dish was delicious and the Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had!

Stopped here with by brother on our way to a wedding last month, and what a treat it was! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and even my brother who never chooses to eat vegan ended up loving the food options and his falafel wrap. Love that there were gluten free options as well for him, and they were crystal clear on potential allergies and cross contamination. The broccoli flatbread was SO good. Then to top it all off they have lots of delicious desserts to choose from, the brownie was incredible!! When we find ourselves in the area in the future, we will for sure be returning! Thank you!

Excellent food and service. I had soup of the day (Smokey potato broccoli) with gluten free toast and it was delicious. I also tried their Brussels sprouts, pine nuts, hummus and sun dried tomato on gluten free toast and just wow! Soooo goooodddd. It’s a bit pricey for just one slice of toast but again, really delicious. Their gluten free bread is AMAZING! First GF bread that actually taste like bread and doesn’t disintegrate as soon as it touches your mouth. Their chai tea with almond milk is nice and light and so good in the morning.

An excellent and unique Italian cafe right in the heart of downtown Frederick. Delizia offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at all times throughout the day. In the morning, Delizia offers a full service coffee bar and possibly the best croissants in Frederick. They also offer a hot breakfast menu serving American style breakfasts with unique Italian flare. In the afternoon and evening, Delizia offers happy hour cocktails, a good selection of Italian wine and beers. I recommend the Venetian Spritz. The dinner menu features homemade lasagna, pasta, and gluten free snack sized pizzas. There are several event evenings, including an open mic / comedy night and a Salsa dance night. I highly recommend Delizia to everyone exploring downtown Frederick. I expect to become a regular customer!
