Arrived to find only free tables were covered with food containers and glasses from previous customers. Eventually had to ask for table to be cleaned. Gluten free buns had run out. Then food ordered at counter did not arrive. Was told they recorded wrong table number. Was told a fresh order would be made, but eventually arrived mostly cold. Drink fridge was not cold.
Great stop halfway between Perth and Margret river. Great playground for kids to stretch the legs and a nice shop for the adults to explore.
Huge selection of gluten free was an added surprise bonus
First time visit the park with my family on weekend.
Had fish and chips and chicken burger with a cold pressed juice called ‘strawberry lemonade’. Best burger and juice we have ever had.
Kids had ice creams too. Despite being busy in weekend, the staff members were very friendly and polite.
They have variety of food available for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and other alternative meals. Also, they provide tap beers too. Enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.
I went on a coffee date with my friend, the atmosphere is really amazing around the lake.
Multiple outdoors and indoor seating available.
Kids play ground very close, and kids friendly.
Various choice of sweet and savoury in house made cakes and muffins.
I loved raspberry curd gluten-free with matcha tea, absolutely delicious!
Service was on time even though it was busy morning.
Friendly and pleasant staffs.
Recommended for family with kids or just friend catch up.
Delicious. We enjoyed the caesar salad with gluten free croutons & the brocollini. The service was friendly & the unhurried relaxed style of the Cafe was just what we needed to recharge. Highly recommended
It was wonderful to have multiple gluten free options in such a small town. We ate lunch there 2 days in a row and got all our coffee from there! No regrets, thus was a fantastic place to eat and drink.
Fantastic service by the loveliest 🤩Girls and Vegan 🌱 mud cake is sensational 🥰 always great coffee☕️☕️love the Gluten Free toasties and really the best cafe in Karrinyup shopping centre ..
lovely food, such a cozy atmosphere. yummy food, with a range of gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian options. friendly staff, clean tables. fast service. perfect for the family!
Absolutely wonderful - always. Friendly, professional and helpful staff, even when we ask for a fork :) and the food... it's heavenly, and even the gluten-free bun option is delicious. Totally impressed!!!
Met a dear ex colleague here for morning tea today. Only my second visit to this quaint little place. For a Saturday morning, I got a park no problem, got a table inside, no problem. Walked straight up to the counter to order, no problem, I was on a winning streak! The delicious little gluten free berry cake with a side of cream and a delicious coffee made my entire day, thank you!!
Just got served by Kevin at the drive thru tonight, he gave me some wonderful recommendations and made sure my order was completely gluten free. Will definitely be coming back and hope to see his friendly face at the window next time! 😊
A favourite cake and coffee hangout for the family. The cakes are amazing and change regularly. The coffee is excellent, as is the Matcha Chai. The gluten free brownies are the best - dense and moist unheated, or light and gooey heated.
Best food choice for gluten free. Best coffee ever. Such friendly staff and service. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Toilets clean.
My sister and I are both Celiac and I am having a major surgery next week, which means I’m on a very strict diet with a long list of foods I cannot have. I ordered a salad and there we’re a few things I had to remove and ask them to replace it with other ingredients (eg, instead of the pesto dressing I asked for a teaspoon of olive oil). Not only did the staff listen to me and give me exactly what I ordered, but they also lowered the price of the salads.
My sister ordered an omelet, and although there was only a couple of gluten free options, the omelette was delicious and they also lowered the price for her as she cannot have the toast. The lovely lady serving us (I think her name was Geneva) was so patient and understanding, even though it was a busy time of the day. I only wish I had known about this service earlier and I would have come to eat more salads before my surgery.
The only fault I could find is that there was not too many Gluten Free options, however the options that were there, could be throughly enjoyed.
The staff here go above and beyond with their service. Their gluten free options are absolutely divine too! Would highly reccomend stopping by on your journeys. 10/10. (Will probably fly back down just for their gluten free quesadia)
Had breakfast here today. Chai latte and coffee were delicious and mug sizes were great. Mama bear and smashed avocado dishes were divine. Found the sauce to mama bear a bit too garlicky for my liking but I'm sensitive to garlic. I added smoked salmon to the smashed avocado and changed out the bread for the gluten free option - very generous portion of smoked salmon and the bread was lovely. The eggs in both dishes were cooked to perfection. Drinks came out really quickly and food didn't take too long either. Staff were friendly, the cafe was clean and had a nice atmosphere with lovely music.
For a 5 star hotel buffet restaurant, Epicurean didn’t deliver to our expectations..
Atmosphere : A big restaurant and too many dining tables to the proportion of the few main food stations on offer. This means long queues for the foods, it feels like overcrowded food hall.
We regret and wish have spent our money in an exclusive fine dining experience, and would have satisfied.
Foods: Oysters were a disappointment, worst we have tasted, creamy texture indicates it was frozen previously, we expect fresh seafoods. Sashimi salmon was okay, but not sure of the other fish sashimi. Good selection of deserts.
Most five star restaurant buffet would include soft drinks,( not this one), for $130/ head you expect they would give a little. some better buffet resto provides labelling of food (nuts allergy, gluten free etc), the chef came out and points to what were okay to eat for my son who has nut allergy.
Epicurean is overrated.
Would of taken a photo but I ate the entire burger with gusto! Yumm!
There’s also a gluten free option bun but I wouldn’t call it celiac safe just in case.
After two days watching over a sick child you realise you want something this is the perfect comfort food.
Simple and delicious.
Had the Gluten free tasting menu (feed me) for my partner and I (Coeliac) and the food was exceptional - fully recommend. Went on a Wednesday night which was understandably quiet.
We had breakfast and dinner here in the space of 4 days. Both times were excellent. Super cool vibe both times. The evening saw the restaurant fully booked out and for worthy cause as the food was delicious. We had a vegetarian in our group of four and myself gluten intolerant. They had a great selection for both of us. Particularly the vegetarians, as there is a seperate menu that is not advertised on the website.
You won’t go amiss to try this place for a special date night it for a friends get together!
Have been here many times and had many take always also. Never had an issue as food and service have always been great. They have always been flexible as my grandson is Coeliac and fussy and we normally get him something from another food outlet. Last Tuesday we went for dinner (6 of us) but they said that we weren’t allowed to bring something in from somewhere else. Fair enough - their business and their call but they have now lost a good regular customer.
