Smaller Metro than some others I have been in so the menu is a bit more limited. Most importantly for us is the availability of meals that are gluten free. There is a separate menu making things easy for those with a celiac medical condition. Enjoyed their steak sandwich. My partner enjoyed an excellent chicken salad on a GF bun. Waitress was wonderful. Decor is simple as you would expect in a local, stripmall eatery. Clean with good food. Metro's chain has not let us down.

I am super late posting this lol but I have celiac disease and every time I eat here they are soooo accommodating and have so much options for gluten free meals and I am especially grateful and happy that they have a cheesecake that is delicious and gluten free. ❤️🤤🥰🫶🏻 If you have celiac disease it is safe to eat here and has supply yummy foods.
Our waiter GatorJim was the best! After explaining I had to be Gluten Free Jim led me to several great choices on the main menu to choose from. I had the Spurrier’s Bacon Cheese Burger without the red onion and it was fantastic! I asked what the meat was and the Manager said Wagyu Beef! It was the best ever! My wife had the filet and mac and cheese. The filet was great, but we both like cheddar Mac and cheese so the white cheese kinda threw her off a little. I have to be gluten free and they offer a gluten free bun. I was very happy to see the many Gluten Free and Vegan choices clearly marked on the regular menus. Dessert for both of us was Creme brûlée and was really delicious too! Over all we had a grand experience. Couldn’t ask for better date night out with my honey!
Went to Karma Cream to get Gluten free bakery items.Stood waiting, and woman at cash register didn't say good morning ,or may I help you? I stepped up to ask of GF, and she said Only if they decide to have GF available! What? She suggested ice cream!? What?,!The rude attitude wasn't helpful! Why advertise GF bakery products if not the case.Good, and friendly service also goes along way! Remind employees that!Do better!!!
My wife and I went here for a date. The atmosphere was comfortable enough with a rustic, industrial, vintage-like quality. It's a nice break from newer construction.
We liked the gluten-free and vegan options on the menu. We are neither, but those options do accommodate some food that we try to avoid.
The quality of the pizza was high, but we thought that $15 for a 10", thin-crust, scarcely-topped pizza was too high, even in the inflated economy. I'm an average size man, but I imagine that many men would need at least 1 1/2 of those pizzas.
Excellent food. Loved the waffles with peach compote and the eggs had a perfect consistency!! Our waitress was amazing too wish I knew her name but she was super friendly and nice. They also had gluten free options and vegan options. We will definetly be back.
Terrible! Don't be fooled by the appearance of this restaurant. The waitress was very annoying, speaking quickly and interrupting us constantly. Every time I tried to ask her a question, she would respond in the middle of my sentence as if she was in a hurry.
We ordered a gluten-free pizza, but the crust was so hard it almost broke my tooth. My friend requested a vegan cheese pizza, but she received a pizza with no cheese at all.
When the bill came, I was in shock. We didn’t order any drinks, and for four people with three pizzas and one calzone, the total was over $100! They charged extra for everything: gluten-free pizza, vegan cheese (even though there was none), and even extra for tomato sauce (we asked for an extra side of sauce). What a robbery!
This was my first time here today and I came for a quiet nice environment to study and do my school work and that is what I got! It is so cute and omg the gluten -free waffle I had is outstanding!! Everyone come here
One Love Café is a laid‑back, open‑air spot tucked into Magnolia Parke Plaza in northwest Gainesville. They’re open Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays), serving up breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunches with bottomless mimosas, bellinis, and Bloody Marys. The ever‑rotating menu of farm‑fresh, locally sourced American handhelds, burgers, salads, and seasonal specials caters to vegetarian, vegan, and gluten‑free diets, and the full bar pours everything from craft cocktails to a solid beer and wine list. Come for karaoke on Tuesdays, Jazz in the Parke every Wednesday, live music Thursday through Sunday—and soak it all in under a canopy of string lights, around a fire pit, or out on the sprawling, kid‑ and dog‑friendly field.
Here’s the inside scoop: One Love tends to get slammed on weekends—especially Fridays and Saturdays—so service can slow down a bit when they’re really busy. Thankfully, that shipping‑container bar out front has helped speed up drink lines big time. If you want a primo spot (think fire‑pit front row or a comfy Adirondack chair), roll in right when they open or at least early enough to snag a table. I always tote a blanket and a folding chair to stake out my territory on the grass. And don’t sleep on happy hour—swing by from 3–5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday for buy‑one‑get‑one half‑off drinks. It’s the perfect little pick‑me‑up or pre‑game ritual.
Val was an amazing server! She was so sweet and attentive. My friend has celiac and she helped to make her have a comfortable experience. I asked for extra strawberries on my pizookie and she went out of her way to cut up some more for me! Thank you for being so sweet.

Super disappointing that they removed gluten free indicator from the menu, but left vegan. There are plenty of GF possibilities that can be offered based on the current menu. Super cool atmosphere, the servers are usually awesome, stick with beer or wine, the mixed drinks are mid.
Food was ok. Service was terrible. Server not knowledgeable about allergies or even what certain items where. Food took either forever to come out or not at all. Ordered grilled tilapia; it came out breaded which not edible for someone with gluten allergy.
This place is an incredible find! Delicious snacks and bowls to eat on the patio or take to go. The bar serves great drinks as well, which is perfect for enjoying music at the Bo Diddley Plaza. They even had a gluten free, vegan, and soy free option!
I was sat at the counter table by the hostess but was never served after waiting 15 minutes at my seat. Seems I was forgotten. Save yourself the trip, the menu is overpriced "elevated brunch" (if you can even call it that) for plates that you can practically make at home and these dishes cost extra for protein. As I returned my menus to the hostess and explained my situation of not being served, I overheard another unhappy customer asking where she can get an actually decent salad (yikes). Overall, there are much better brunch places in gnv (check 43rd street Deli, Flying Biscuit, Maple Street Biscuit Company). Hell, even Waffle House does a better job.
Also, they have 0 gluten-free options.

Tried this spot for the first time. My wife and daughter shared a gluten free pizza and they had to say it was fantastic. Best gluten free crust ever. I thought I'd be able to fishe my small x 10 but couldn't. It has a smokey flavor and was also very good...we will be back .
Good, not great.
We popped for a quick dinner. The hotel looks like a newer, trandier one.
The menu was not updated on the website, so we were slightly surprised. Tried the Ribeye and Flat Iron steak, preferred the second. They were also testing their key lime pie, and I have to say, it was pretty good!
While we'd cook better dinner ourselves, it was ok. It's still a solid option, just nothing special.
The server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the gluten free options.
Food is super delicious, with several gluten free options (ask - they're not marked) on the dinner menu. Sitting on the porch listening to outdoor music was a delight. The service is not good, but seems more due to being short staffed than anything. The servers were nice, just stretched thin so the food came out lukewarm and we waited a long time to order.
Found this little cafe when turned on the wrong road lol. Owe it was so delicious!! It was mid evening busy, I got the combo a chicken Caesar wrap with Broccoli salad and chocolate custard. (The ice cream was for my mom). My mom got a Caesar salad with chicken. Just a few mins and someone brought us our food. Everything was cooked /prepared perfectly. They have vegan choices. Also other yummy desserts like cheesecake, cookies, and gluten free choices. Definitely recommend!! 😍
Yummiest Chinese Food around! I have a gluten allergy and they are so great about making sure all is safe for me! They cook me fried rice without the soy sauce. Also if you eat in, I love their Jasmine Tea!
We had a very lovely meal, there was no wait at the time. The restaurant was very busy, food was coming out in a very timely manner. Our server was very wonderful and attentive. The food was really nice, but slightly lacking. My daughter got the chocolate chip pancake and it was wonderful. My girlfriend got an omelette with gluten free toast and home fries. It was nice but the home fries lacked any seasoning and she said that they were quite bland. It was very nice to see a lot of gluten free options for her since she's allergic. I had the chicken and waffles. They were nice, but the chicken seemed to be lacking, either a 3rd piece would have been great, or thicker pieces of chicken. There was more breading than meat. The Cajun syrup could also use some pop to it, it was marginally seasoned vs normal syrup. The blueberry butter was excellent. Overall we had a wonderful meal and we were very happy with the experience.
I'm giving this store a five based off the amazing customer service received by Brooke and Cudjo! They were so amazing, friendly and just both had beautiful smiles that wouldn't quit! The food was good also. I have celiac disease and took a chance. I did let Brooke know about it. No reaction to the food. The highlights of my visit though were the customer service and the cleanliness of the place was fantastic! Thank you so much to them for making my day great! I needed it!
Came here for dinner on a Thursday night after loving their other restaurant Nopal.
We sat outside and it was so pleasant out and I really enjoyed the outdoor dining. Our waiter was great and informative. They do not have gluten free options marked on the menu, but he easily let me know what was GF or what could be modified. I was sad that they only had flour tortillas as their tacos sounded really good.
I went with one of the salad bowls that came with ancho chicken, brussel sprouts, pumpkin seeds, avocado, queso fresca, and corn. It was delicious and fresh but my chicken was very overcooked which was disappointing. However everything else was good and the service was great.
I've been to a few different ABE locations, but I think this one is my favorite for three reasons:
1. Solid place to do a solo breakfast date for yourself and read a book.
2. I've been twice and sat at the bar twice, and the first time, Kaylee, a bartender, offered some great reading suggestions and made an excellent spiked cold brew, and the second time, Austin, made a bomb milagro sunrise.
3. They're conscious of food allergies and needs, Austin was quick to get my food remade fresh and with no crosscontamination when it came out with bread on it (rip celiac), and went above and beyond to get it right.
The wife and I had a pit stop in Gainesville and were starving. When looking at breakfast restaurants we were looking for a place with a selection of gluten free and vegan options for my wife. When this was one of the suggestions we were not certain how this would turn out. But, it ended up to be a very pleasant surprise. American style diner with authentic breakfast cuisine that still had some gourmet options such as goat cheese for their skillets. The portions were plentiful, the hashbrowns were crispy throughout which almost never happens eating out and their omelets as well as their skillets were loaded with veggies and meat. Wife had the "bellybuster" veggie skillet and I had the Philly one; both were well above most places. The service was attentive and genuine. If you are expecting upscale dining this is not the place; if you would like authentic American style diner food with home made flair this is the place. If in the area we would be happy to return here and may even try their brunch.
Nice local spot with live music on Tues nights. Several menu options were gluten free - just talk to the bartender when ordering. Great atmosphere and much higher quality food than most bar food.
This place is amazing and I recommend it to all my friends. Love that all my friends can eat here (vegetarian and vegan options!) But if they offered gluten free bread or cracker options, it would have made this a 5 star review. UPDATE: CHANGED TO 5 STARS!
Everything was amazing. They have multiple options for different diet preference. All salads are gluten free and you can make the pasta gluten free as well. There are some vegan options too. The new vegetable raviolis are delicious and the portions are great too.
The mushroom toast was delicious. We really enjoyed our time here. This was our third attempt at finding a vegan restaurant that could provide vegan and gluten free food that didn’t have other allergens that affected us. We were very happy with the staff, the service and the food. We will definitely return.
First time visiting Patticakes, but it certainly won't be the last. They have the best red velvet cupcakes bar none. Also bought a gluten-free pumpkin buckwheat muffin that was moist, buttery, and also very delicious. If you're looking for a treat, Patticakes should definitely be your destination.
Lovely little date night spot! Daisy our server was very sweet and helpful :) The happy hour small charcuterie was perfect for a pre-dinner appetizer. Even put the bread on the side for me because I’m gluten free. Would recommend!
My family and I went to Ballyhoo for dinner. The atmosphere was fine, nothing special but the food and service were below average.
We were there on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy.
Our waitress I will say by the end of the dinner was pretty frustrating and is likely the reason we won't come back.
I asked her what her gluten free options were and her response was "I'm only 18, I don't know what gluten is" Didn't offer to check with someone, she just left it at that and walked away. After she took our order, she went and sat at a booth with other customers for 15 minutes, other people brought out our food and she came over and said "did your food come out with any gluten in it?" which was a bit annoying given she never answered me about gluten free options. Then she said "sorry I was gone for a while, I was doing everyone else's work" then went back to sit at the same table. I think she was unaware that we could see her? The food came out unseasoned. I had a salad with grilled chicken and part of the chicken was undercooked and tasted so bland, the others at the table said they didn't think there was any seasoning on any of their food either.
Our 1st time here; recommended to us. We celebrated our 20th anniversary.... great atmosphere, excellent service, & affordable delicious fresh meals. Great local fish & crustacean options. Gluten free options. Staff knowledgeable about food allergies. We will return!
Highly recommend the gluten-free breakfast bagel. Just make sure to double check cross contamination practices as they don't have a separate toaster. Their iced coffee is delicious!
Although there aren't too many gluten free options on the menu. What is on the menu is always fresh and delicious. 😋 typically greeted with someone friendly and the coffee options are always good too.
