I love great full gardens! There is plenty of variety such that everyone from carnivore to vegan to gluten free to whatever can find delcious, nutritious, and yummy foods for all comers. My favorites BLTA the naan, soba noodle salad w) chicken, and cheesy bruschetta. They always hit home. Its not exactly budget friendly, but it's reasonable for fresh, local, and non processed food!
I just arrived to Reno and as a gluten-free eater, I’m often concerned about finding food that I can eat when I travel for work. I was so thrilled to walk into Haven on Earth today and find that the entire shop is gluten-free! This is virtually unheard of and it literally made my day. I was able to get bread for my week in town, hamburger buns, and a few pastry delights, including the cinnamon roll that they’re known for which, I must say, is absolutely the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my life!! 🌟🌟
The fish and vegetables on the main course tasted like it had been cooked in a microwave. The fish was dried out and crunchy the vegetables were dried out and undercooked. The salad was good but nothing special. The soup was good but nothing to rave about. Service was good atmosphere was mediocre but it's not meant to be fancy. First time here but it was very disappointed with the microwaved fish and broccoli. Anyone who would cook something like that and serve it to a customer is an amateur. Was glad they had gluten-free options but they just need to prepare their food better. It's a lot of cash to spend on something that was not very edible.
Love this place! I’m gluten free and eat an anti inflammatory diet. I appreciated the ample selection of scrumptious dishes and quality of ingredients. The amazing food isn’t the only great thing… The staff is top notch, accommodating, and super friendly. We will be back next time we’re in Reno.
Always good food and they are Gluten free friendly! I don't have celiac but a sensitivity to it and they made sure to let the kitchen know. I ordered a grilled cheese on gf bread and they gave me 2 gf sandwiches to make up for the size of the bread.
I have celiac disease and follow a strict gluten free diet. I’m always nervous about going to places that primarily make gluten-containing foods, but my partner was really craving pizza so I gave it a shot. I am happy to report I did not get sick! Their gluten free crust was so good that I had to call the server over to double check that it was gluten free. We absolutely loved the chill and eclectic ambiance of the place and the food was delicious. We waited a while for our pizza, but we also ordered wings and a salad and those came out beforehand. They brought the wings (so dang good btw) out and we finished them completely before they brought out the salad, and finished the salad completely before they brought out the pizza. This may annoy some people as I think some people like to have some things at the same time, but we didn’t mind at all as we were not in a hurry and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We also got some cider and beer on tap and loved that as well. We will absolutely go back!
Food & drinks were excellent! There were enough gluten-free options. Service could have been more attentive. Your water glass may be empty for a while. The way the tables are set up, it's very difficult to walk in between tables to get to your table or use the restroom without bumping into someone.
Sizzle Pie serves the worst gluten free pizza that I have ever had. The crust was very dry, and so hard that it was difficult to cut. The toppings were sparse and not very flavorful. And it was overpriced! There’s a variety of very good gluten free crusts that are commercially available, so there’s no excuse to serve such a bad crust.
Hit up Squeeze In on our way back from Tahoe before flying out of Reno airport.
With dietary restrictions part of our daily routine we found this place had plenty of gluten free options.
Server was attentive and polite. Closed out our check with a POS system right at the table which was nice.
I had the burger and it was cooked as requested. Got the fried egg addition to elevate the meal. Fries were crisp and seasoned.
Spouse, gluten free, got the southwest bowl with carne asada. Pico didn’t come initially but the server brought it within seconds.
Had the Mango tajin mimosa to start and it was so good. Could’ve had plenty more if I didn’t have to travel out.
Recommend this place.
Breakfast Diner attached to the Aiden Hotel with a casual vibe. I came here both mornings of my stay in Reno since it was attached to my hotel. Very convenient. Fast seating and attentive service. Not too pricey and great quality. I ordered the Country fried steak and eggs + the Red Chicken Skillet. This restaurant has vegan / gluten free options. The line piles up quick here, so get here early! No complaints here.
The cherry picker with sausage had great flavor. The happy hour was nice on a Saturday, six dollars for a glass of wine, $10 for cheese pizza or $12 for a sample platter. The Caprese was delicious. The waitress was prompt. There are good options for gluten-free. However, for pizza, it’s pretty expensive and space is limited , inside seating as well as parking near the restaurant.
One of my favorite places to eat downtown. The food is top notch and the drinks are interesting and delicious. They are accommodating with my gluten-free needs and the service is always spot on. It is a good choice even for a family with youngish children but might not be the best choice if you have really little kids.
We came in because I learned that they now have gluten free chicken Parm! However, I was disappointed that it was NOT breaded. Also, my husband's food was served about 10 minutes before mine. The server and, who I believe was the manager, apologized profusely for this, and compensated us with a delicious free dessert. So overall, it was a good experience, and I am grateful for the excellent way in which we were treated.
I have been here twice and both times I have enjoyed the food. I am unable to eat gluten, and their buffet is nicely labeled on what is gluten free and the Brazilian bread they serve is also gluten free.
These pancakes are absolutely delicious. I love them! Every time I am in the area, I stop in to get some.
The staff were great but need more training on gluten-free options on their menu. I almost left after a staff member said the menu has and don't have them anymore.
I ask one more person on the way out, and they confirm they do have them still.
I highly recommend trying them out for yourself!
Most comfortable restaurant chair ever! The fries were gluten free and amazing. Not a fan of the chicken tacos. creme brulee is the best I have found in Reno. Also, creme brulee is big enough for 2 people
Wait was very long on a Saturday, but the food was delicious. I had the Huevos Montana. Salsa had a bit of heat, but good flavor. I liked the gluten free indicated items. Hash browns could have been crispier.
I just want to start this review with saying that I have never left a negative review on any business, but the mistake that this establishment made is too severe to be forgotten about. This is a horrible restaurant with waiters that are both rude and don’t care about customers health. Our waiter was extremely rude, would walk away while we were trying to order, not being patient and also rushing us. Even my drink having hair on the glass, which isn’t extremely bad, though it makes you realize just how unsanitary and unprofessional this restaurant really is , but the worst part of all, they fed one of my family members gluten while she has a GLUTEN ALLERGY!. She ordered a pasta and explicitly told the waiter about her allergy and for the pasta to be gluten free and they brought out a pasta that CONTAINS GLUTEN. It makes you wonder, what would’ve happened to a person with a severe gluten allergy? This establishment is a danger to people with dietary restrictions and needs to be reevaluated by either corporate or the health department. Please do not eat here, go to BJ’s instead or even Olive Garden.
Note: As I was reading the other reviews I also noticed that many other people have also gotten sick from this food, and having the manager come out when these type of things happen. Our waiter decided to keep this incident a secret as he then knew how bad of a mistake he made. So not only will this restaurants waiters make a huge mistake, they won’t report it so it doesn’t happen again!
Our server Pinto greeted us with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor. They had a great variety of Gluten Free items for my kid. Reviewed items to make sure that they were correct orders. Pinto was fantastic at accommodating our allergy and requests. He was a great server!!
I think this was the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and they even had gluten free alternatives!! Definitely will be back the breakfast potatoes were amazing and it’s a very beautiful location
We came in to dine, in celebration of my son’s birthday. Our server was jovial and attentive, especially to the person in our party with a gluten allergy. The food arrived promptly, and was hot and delicious. The manager came by to greet us and was so welcoming, which was refreshing. It was a fantastic, positive experience and we will definitely be back to dine there again.
I really enjoyed my delicious, gluten-free waffle 🧇. The service was excellent and it was early morning... so it was super quiet, which was perfect! Thank you!
Great food, menu has a lot of variety. Gluten free options were plentiful. The only downside was water pitcher on tables were filled with warm water. Who drinks warm water with their meal? Bathroom a little trashy and one toilet wouldn't flush.
Very tasty dishes and very friendly people. Several gluten free options are also clearly marked on the menu too, although I did not ask if those were on a separate and dedicated gluten free grill. You need to try their Beet salad, really good stuff! Also, the Thai Chicken Wraps appitizer require a little dexterity, but are well worth it too!
Another week, another Walden's order.
I swear I try so hard to just order from here once every other week, or even once a week to keep my budget under control, but I simply canNOT stay away.
My 2 favorites - gluten free avocado toast with bacon and/or eggs added, and the power scramble. Every time I order, everything gets sent over quickly, and is piping hot, and perfect. I need to get a punch card or something because as I said this has become a weekly habit for about 4 months now. Thanks so much for your consistent quality! :) See you guys next week... or probably tomorrow, to be honest. Have a great day! Also, everyone should get breakfast here! The end.
Have been here several times now and always have had a great experience. It's convenient for us and a great local stop. THANK YOU so much for having quality gluten free buns! These are my favorite burgers in town simply due to this. The staff is always super cheery and fun to our 5-year-old who calls it "the corn-dog place."
My wife and I stopped here on our way to Lake Tahoe and it was great! It gave Paul Bunyon vibes if you're from Wisconsin.
Good atmosphere and our Server Sue-z was very very friendly and welcoming. We definitely felt well cared for. The food was good too. Especially the Red Potatoes on the side.
The Huckleberry Lemonade was very delicious too!
I didn't expect that they would have gluten free options but they did, and even had gluten free wheat for my wife!!
I rarely recommend this place if you require GF options. They have salads but that's about it. Service always takes a long time and for the price, I'd rather make it myself at home.
Sometimes this is the best authentic Mexican north of the border and other times it is just above average for the area. They have been able to handle gluten allergies without fail ( soft corn taco shells) on their popular combo but messed up a fairy allergy ( cheese on the side of beans on the combo two weeks ago). The nice thing is there is no dairy on tacos by default ( you would have to request sour cream or cheese)
