Absolutely fantastic!
All day weekday happy hour with $5 mimosas (special with pomegranate liquor!) and bloody Marys, and almost everything can be made gluten free. The gluten free Cinnamon pancake was just out of this world delicious. Bravovado toast was a treat. Can't recommend this place enough.
the food was pretty okay!! unfortunately they were out of all of their lemonades which was a bummer :( otherwise they’re good with gluten free accommodations (on pizza and and sandwiches)
100% gluten free and extremely allergy friendly. Their chicken and dumplings was super flavorful and their French toast was the best gluten free French toast I’ve ever had — crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. Super convenient to order since you use a digital stand to do so and can see all allergens when picking your meal.
They are very good at offering options for a variety of diets, but experienced some discomfort after. Wouldn’t recommend anything from the kitchen (they have gf wrapped pastries) for anyone with celiac.
This place is great if you have a dairy allergy as most things are vegan by default. If you have a gluten allergy you have to be careful as they do not have have a dedicated gluten free fryer. The killer for me is that I have issues with gluten dairy and soy. They had very few dishes available that could accommodate my soy allergy. Caprese pizza with cashew ricotta. It was ok. I was devestated I couldn't have the chicken and waffles.
Great cocktails.
Feels like an authentic French Cafe, good service and the food was tasty. They’re able to make Gluten Free Crepes and I got the Toscana which was very good. It felt a bit heavy as it was a big portion which left me more than satisfied. A bit pricey with a double espresso and one crepe plus tip coming in at over $25 but Id go back. Parking can be dicey!
I adore this cute little cafe. All the food is delicious AND healthy. My belly always feels great after eating here. Basically everything can be made gluten free, which makes it hard to choose! The breakfast burrito bowl has been my favorite thing that I've ordered. I also love the superfood lattes!
I was cautiously optimistic when I heard about a pie shop that had good gluten free options. Umm, people, this place is beyond good, it’s amazing. If you like pie or things that taste great, you have to visit Legacy Pie Company in Wash Park.
There’s a reason they don’t put the gluten free doughnuts out on display - they are sad, tiny, and mushy. And they taste the way they look. The fact that they charge $4.25 for a single one is absurd. Save yourself the time and money and skip this place.
Stopped in for breakfast. Grabbed a seat outside. Traffic is noisy, but I have an ability to tune it out, so while it annoyed my boyfriend a wee bit, I was too busy appreciating the nice weather to notice..🙃
The menu offers relatively unique items and I like that. I also noticed pancakes can be made gluten free for you celiacs out there. I ordered the corned beef hash, he ordered the Boulder, and together we ordered cinnamon sugar & lemon donut bites. Half cafe latte for his drink, which he enjoyed.
Donuts came out first. Cake donuts. Tasty. The lemon on the other hand.... 😐 Tasted a bit like applesauce with an over amount of lemon extract thrown in. I didn't like it at all. We both enjoyed the cinnamon.
E enjoyed his Boulder.
As for my hash.... It appeared, and tasted like, it was leftover from yesterday and reheated. The eggs were cooked well, but the potatoes were shriveled and hard as a rock. See side by side photo of one of his potatoes next to one of mine. There is another picture of my potatoes up close, but I didn't have a way of showing just how hard they were. The beef, though quite hard and dry, was tasty mixed with the egg and singular onion piece.
Our waiter was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable.
I ordered the BLT on gluten free bread. Fast service - I ordered from the Togo window. I was glad for the quick service as my flight was going to leave in 35 minutes. It came in about 5 minutes
Gluten free options galore and (or at least my server) was very familiar with celiac disease and the limitations it can cause. Very good food and fast. Attentive without being overbearing and generally an excellent experience.
This place has everything. It has amazing waffles, it has gluten free pancakes, it has mimosas, it has fresh fruit that you can sub in for sides. It’s fantastic.
Gluten free sandwich of my dreams. Such a nice staff amazing flavors and a glass of dry rose to put the cherry on top. Will be stopping by every time in town.
We tried dining here on Saturday night, but came to find out when we were seated that there's like a half page manifesto about not handling any allergies (not dietary preferences - actual anaphylactic shock inducing allergies). Their menu explicitly states "do not eat here, it's not worth the risk." Well, you don't have to tell us twice! We found food elsewhere.
As an aside, pretty much every other restaurant in Denver can handle this kind of request with modest hygienic kitchen practices. Some restaurants are excellent and proactive about it. Even some cocktail bars ask about allergies now! But hey, that's your choice I guess.
So, we decided to leave a mostly-positive (4-star) review to let other allergy-havers know not to come here. After all, they're very clear about not wanting you to eat here! We thought we'd spread the word while not impacting their Google rating too much.
For daring to leave a review with 4 stars, about a policy on their menu that they wrote, the owners decided to respond with an absolute tantrum. Check the other reviews - we're definitely not the first people to enrage these psychos. You did an excellent job of making an enemy out of people who would otherwise at least stop in for a glass of wine or a cocktail.
So, enjoy your multiple 1 star reviews from everyone in our party, instead of the single 4-star review you would have gotten. You really earned it!
Do not give these people your money.

Edit: Again, see the completely normal response from the owner 😂. I don't have a gluten allergy - someone in our party has a tree nut allergy. And again, that's fine, we can eat elsewhere. We appreciated the warning on the menu. We just wanted to leave a review letting other allergy-havers to also dine elsewhere. That's what you want, right?
The owners are always so kind and friendly and have remembered my order even though I haven't been there that many times. They have a gluten-free vegan blueberry muffin. They make in-house. That is absolutely delicious! I am not a vegan and I Don't eat gluten just as a personal preference but this is a damn good muffin.
The other reviews are right about the gluten free bread, it's excellent and we all know that's hard to find. The food is very good overall, the chef knows what they're doing. It's a bit overpriced though, considering my breakfast sandwich had very little bacon and my turkey sandwich seemed like it should have come with some kind of side given the price. Everyone there was very nice and I liked it enough to go back for lunch.
Wife has very sensitive celiac and has never gotten glutened. The owner is very helpful and understands how to prevent any cross contamination and can make many dishes egg free.
Good piece of New Orleans in denver! Food was good, not great/didn’t wow us. Really enjoyed the beignets and different egg dishes for breakfast. Also, they had a few gluten free options which was surprising— even gluten free bread from Deby’s for GF French toast. (The bread looked not Gf so i asked where it was from to confirm to be certain for celiac.) Will come back when craving some Nola style food
What greater compliment can I give to these fantastic Montreal wood fired style bagels then this fun fact about my dad. He has been to Colorado exactly twice and the only place he wanted to eat at both visits is Woodgrain. Plus these are my go to bagels for client drop offs as they have a wonderful gluten free bagels and dairy free cream cheese so everyone can enjoy!!!
Organic food, gluten free options for dessert and a full bar make this place a great choice for dinner. But... there is also the Jungle Room with an open mic, poetry readings, and karaoke. Upstairs is a venue for live music and dancing (including big name bands when they were new like Screaming Trees).
You won't find high fructose corn syrup here!
This place is awesome. My dog knocked over some food and they remade it without extra charge or a fuss.
Awesome gluten free goods. We get a GF birthday cake here every year.
Highly recommend!
Perfect place to stop no matter the occasion. The decor and vibe of the place is very relaxed, the menu is extensive and has a great variety, and the employees were great. The offer indoor and outdoor seating, dog treats, clean gender neutral bathrooms, and WiFi. They seem to bring in a lot of the college crowd (there were a lot of people there working on laptops and enjoying cups of joe). Overall, a wonderful place to stop! I loved the gluten free zucchini bread and their hot chocolate.
Delicious menu that offers, dairy free, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options! The cafe is spacious, with comfortable seating arrangements that cater to both solo visitors and larger groups. Nurture also hosts regular wellness events monthly such as yoga sessions, meditation workshops, and other fun events that are open to the public and for nurture members!
Stowaway was a spectacular find! A very popular spot with incredibly delicious and unique food options. We all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast choices, not only would we return but we would absolutely order the same dishes again! They also had plenty of gluten free options.
Our waitress was super sweet and on top of it adding to the great experience!
Easily my new favorite neighborhood coffee shop. I was greeted by the most gentle and friendliest barista. a Sunday at 8 AM, that feels rare. The stamp on the to go cup was created by a local digital artist who use the face of the neighboring shop owner. What a special touch. The outdoor garden was a surprising oasis. I hope to bring my book there and relax. Also complements to the gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Delicious and I recommend to all gluten-free/vegan people.
Had some friends in town and quickly googled breakfast found Macis nearby. Saw that they had gluten free options for my girlfriend. We all ordered different paninis and they were allll great. The owner was awesome and real friendly. I’m so glad we ended up stopping in and will definitely come
Cute, cozy cafe. I mostly order coffee drinks and pastries, but I won’t drink matcha from anywhere else, theirs is so good! Def try the Desire panini, tiramisu, and gelato. Even the gluten-free cheesecakes get 2 thumbs up from my friend with celiac’s!
Beautiful, cozy, welcoming spot! The chilaquiles was 🤌 especially with the red sauce. Very friendly, attentive service. Can’t wait to come back! Pozole looks great, plenty of vegan and gluten free options.
Very popular neighborhood spot for coffee & snacks, including gluten-free. Outdoor area is expansive & great in warm weather. Also on offer is freshly made juice with ginger & turmeric.
Such a cute, unique spot near Sloan's Lake - walkable from the north side! 3 different cold brew options. I got the traditional Slohi blend, which has a bold chocolatey flavor profile and was delicious. Also tried the vegan gluten-free donut and it was sooooo good. I get nervous trying gluten-free pastries but this donut was wonderful. Highly recommend. Local, sweet, quick.
I love this place!! They make delicious gluten free crepes (and regular) from scratch, roast their own coffee, and everyone is always so nice! The only issue I’ve ever run into is the occasional time when there are too many crepe-lovers and the wait gets long. I don’t really mind, though, because the owner is such a lovely man and deserves all the success!
I had the best sandwich of my entire life - two days in a row AND it was on gluten free bread, and I've only been GF for one year. Thanks, SNARF! (In case there was any doubt, I've been eating sandwiches my entire life.)
Had the veggie combo, which was amazing! The red lentils were my favorite! Great environment, great food, amazing service! They even could do gluten free injera with a 24 hour notice. I’ll definitely be back!
