The food was excessively delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the well-portioned cachapas, and the table cream was the perfect contrast to the sweet cheesiness. Best of all, its gluten free!
This Mexican restaurant is 100% gluten free and free from seed oils. Their food is fresh, healthy and delicious. I highly recommend. I tried their homemade chips and salsa, enchilada and fajita and everything was delicious. It is a little on the pricier side though.
I order their Floripa Flex (protein bowl) when
I’m having a sweet tooth and need a boost in my protein for the day, it’s incredibly made every single time. The gluten free Brazilian cheese bread is to die for, tonight I ordered a single order (3) and they gave back to me for continuous business to them by giving me a dozen at no extra cost.
support local! 💕
I am celiac, and this is one of my new favorite places. Very cozy/home feeling atmosphere, and the staff is incredible kind and attentive. When I asked to make sure there wouldn’t be any cross contamination, they confirmed for me and were some of the most kind and responsive people to me being nervous about fried things being contaminated. I’ve gotten the marinated chicken bowl and the falafel bowl so far, and have a hard time getting something else now that I know how yummy they are.
I haven't been here in awhile but it used to be one of my food safe places to eat gluten free. I ordered (all with a gluten allergy) a burger, fries no salt and a small shake. Once I got home I realized the fries had salt and also pepper for some reason. I ate it all anyhow not thinking it through. Now I'm sitting at home with a progressing tummy ache and I'm just hoping it's not from cross contamination. I guess I'll update this review once I know for sure.
Our expectations were high, and they exceeded them! I got the huevos rancheros, and my husband got the omelet. The gluten-free banana bread is a must get!! It's a seat yourself restaurant, but we didn't have any issue finding a seat. It was easy to walk to, and the bus line takes you right to it. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for something delicious and nutritious.
I ordered a chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun. I got a chicken sandwich on a white bun, so I went to the front and was ignored for several minutes by the employees.
The man who took my order saw me waving him down, and immediately went on break and put headphones in.
When I finally got another employees attention, and my gluten free sandwich, I was given a sloppy mess in a plastic container and a cold gluten free bun in a plastic bag, fresh out of the refrigerator.
I had to make my sandwich myself, after paying Chick-fil-A to make me a sandwich.
The sandwich was cold, and terrible. The fries were cold and stale. The lemonade was good. Not even Chick-fil-A can ruin lemonade.
I was excited to finally have a gluten free sandwich option, but this will be my last time eating Chick-fil-A.
They have GF bread and staff take safety precautions to ensure not cross contaminated. I've never been glutened here. You can also get the sandwich as a salad.
I was super excited to check out this cafe since it’s totally gluten free and I have celiac disease. Unfortunately, the employee who was working today completely ruined the experience. I got to the counter and was told I’d have to wait until she was done cooking the other orders before she could take mine. No problem, she seemed to be working alone and I can understand trying to get caught up. After ten minutes of standing there waiting, she finally came back to take my order but proceeded to tell me “just so you know, if you order food, it’s going to take 30 minutes.” I feel like she could have given me that info before I waited the ten minutes it took for her to take my order. I ended up not ordering anything at all because I felt like I was inconveniencing her. If I was the owner, I’d be pretty upset my employee was trying to dissuade customers from purchasing food. The friend I was with was kind enough to share what she got with me, and honestly the food was subpar. Maybe on a different day with a different employee it would have been good, but I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing.
