Went for the $30 Sirloin special on Wednesday nights, this is on the window as you enter, definitely my suggestion would be to put it on the website. Delicious medium cooked steak and I could taste the flames from the grill too. Matched well with a Cab Sav too. The pinnacle moment was when the amazing head waiter brought out a gluten free small birthday cake. Highly recommended, support local

This is the best gluten free cafe I've been in ever. Their cinnamon scrolls are the best. It wasn't until the last time that I went there that I got anything other than that🤣 I got the Reuben focaccia take away that time. Fantastic. Everything is gluten free.

Great place to get a burger for a coeliac, though only if you go on a day the buns are fresh! I went twice, and the first time my gf bun was really nice, but the second time it completely broke apart within the first two bites, making it too hard to eat without a knife and fork. These are things we deal with as gluten free people anyway, so it wasn’t surprising, but a little disappointing after such a good bun the time before. Otherwise the burgers were great, the chicken nuggets were really nicely cooked, and the chips were yum too!

As a coeliac and lactose intolerant person I was happy to find a place that was able to safely cater for breakfast and lunch! I didn’t love my breakfast, but I LOVED the chicken Vietnamese salad I had for lunch. Like it was the best lunch I had in my New Zealand travels. They are coeliac aware and take extra care with gluten free meals. Nice staff members and pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed my coffee too!

The food was absolutely fantastic – but the service was even better! As someone with food allergies, I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The waitress asked about any allergies already during the reservation and later pointed out exactly what I could safely eat from the menu. It's especially recommendable for people with celiac disease. A truly wonderful experience!

Travelled down the north island with a coeliac this evening and found this place on the Coeliac New Zealand FB page. I phoned and we were told they have a separate area. Ordered and got two packages- one for the gluten folks and another for the coeliac. both were absolutely delicious and this place was super busy. it's a good hour from where we live but we'll be coming back up here for dinner. LOVE that this place is safe for coeliacs.

Spongedrop made us the wedding cake of our dreams! Everyone had told us to never get a cake big enough for everyone because no one ever eats cake but we had everyone clambering for a piece. It looked so beautiful and tasted so incredible. We went with the gluten free lemon curd and some gluten free vegan cupcakes. It was fudgy delicious-ness. Thank you so much Dani and the team xx

Fantastic venue with a great cosy interior. Attentive staff and great service around gluten intolerance. Most of the menu is gf with a gf roti as well. Incredible is an apt name for the restaurant. The food was delicious full of flavour and the meat was so tender and moist. 5 star 🌟

My boyfriend & I had a lovely dining experience here recently. Our waitress Hannah was so attentive to our dietary restrictions (Coeliac) and it was clear she genuinely cared. The same goes for the talented chefs in the kitchen, who were super patient and understanding and took the Coeliacs/gluten allergy very seriously. Thank you team for such a wonderful dinner tonight! You catered for our two families, including young children. Everything was perfect! Delicious food and huge portions! Kids food was fantastic and was brought out first (so kind) We sat outside and the kids could run around and play on the grass area and even play with a game set you lent them. Two of us were celiacs and you catered perfectly for us. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back 🥰

Incredibly well-managed and very good service at a locally-owned restaurant that truly knows their stuff with keto, coeliac-safe, low FODMAP and other nutritional needs. What a great experience! It was our first time at Kisa and appreciated our friendly server explaining everything to us, the special care taken with my gluten-free requirement, and truly delicious food. The smacked cucumber was my (surprising) favourite on the menu, and everything was made to perfection, fragrant and tasty. We were a large group at a long table, and even so, we could share conversations across the length of the table - a total plus. We will definitely return to sample the rest of the menu. An absolute highlight of the weekend!
