Patio was great. Food was excellent. Huge portions, the papusas are GIANT. Chips and salsa were top notch. Chose Monses due to the 100% gluten free kitchen to accommodate celiacs in our party.
Overall Rating 4.5
Urban Egg is that brunch spot if you're in Colorado Springs. The vibe is welcoming, the menu is stacked with unique options (including GF-friendly ones), and the staff? 10/10.
I ordered The Cure (it's a pineapple, vanilla, OJ, coconut water bev) and yes, it did cure me. Light, refreshing,, juicy, and not overly sweet. Also had the hazelnut cold brew, which was super tasty and gave me life.
For food, we went with the Denver Bot Chicken Benedict Bliss. Originally thought it could be made gluten-free and was sad it couldn’t be, but they baked it for me instead and it was still so good. The flavors were spot on, and now I’m just out here dreaming of a GF version with that crispy fried batter. Manifesting that for next time.
Also tried the Ultimate Breakfast Sando with turkey bacon + avo. Solid sandwich, but I’m a thick sourdough or croissant for breakfast sando kinda person, so the bread wasn't exactly my thing. Still tasty, just a personal preference.
Overall: amazing staff, thoughtful menu, and tons of great GF options. Which isn’t always easy to find. Would def come back (and next time I’m trying a pancake flight).
If I could give this place and the ladies that work there 10 ⭐ I would. We are gluten free and if you are to you understand Chinese Food is usually a no go zone... Nope not this place and it's not weird version of it either.
The egg roll takes longer but GET IT !!!! Trust me it's worth the wait I could have just eaten that.
Stop by give it a try you will fall in love like we did.
I really have liked this gluten free cinnamon raisin bread a lot…the texture has changed and seems to be more dried out and kind of crumbly. I have been buying this bread for many years , and hope i don’t have to change
If you’re looking for a JUICY gluten free fried chicken sandwich, this is the place! All their fried chicken is gluten free and they only fry gluten free items. They have some gluten in the restaurant (like gluten buns) but are careful with cross contact. My chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside, super juicy on the inside, and the gluten free bun was fluffy and held together well. The tater tots were super crispy and our food came out quickly. Will def be back!
They have a gluten free menu you can request that also indicates options for avoiding soy, corn and coconut and everything is dairy free and plant based. They have gluten free desserts from local gluten free bakeries and are happy to modify dishes as needed for additional allergens. Their cocktails are also AMAZING!

We worked with Sakeo for catering our wedding donuts, featuring a large donut wall, and it was an absolute hit! There were no leftover donuts at the end! The donuts were incredibly fresh and delicious. We loved having a unique dessert option that many of our guests were trying for the first time (on top of that, they were gluten-free). The donuts were not only tasty but also beautifully presented. We highly recommend booking Mochi Thai'm for your next event or wedding!
Really friendly and attentive service, food is good and fun to decide what your stir fry will be. Also great gluten free and low carb options. Kids love watching their creations get made. Great family place.

My husband and an our 2 friends had dinner here. I am celiac, and I was so pleased to see such a large gluten free menu. They even made me gf bread to enjoy while the others had regular bread. I had the chicken and sausage visuvio, and my husband had chicken Marsala. We both loved our dishes; great flavor, good portions, good presentation. Our server Josh was very good, he did a great job of checking in. I will say the food and drinks were slow to get to us, but it was worth the wait, so I still feel good about my 5 stars. The restaurant was clean, and the rest of the staff were all polite and pleasant. Thanks for offering such a robust GF menu!
They have a gluten free menu and will serve gluten free orders on different plates, which makes me feel safer. I usually get the gf ginger chicken and broccoli but also love the spicy chicken!
We have been very fortunate to have Jennifer h. As our server. We don't frequent urban egg a lot . However the last 3 visits we have had our food served by Jennifer. She remembers my gluten allergy and my husband's spicy tastes. She is always helpful and patient even in a rush in the very busy morning . She is a bright spot in the midst of the noise of the cafe. She is an asset to.the restaurant and company. I gave a 3 for atmosphere due to the noise of customers which I understand is because the food is so delicious !
Came here with my wife for the first time to try gluten free chicken and was pleseantly surprised! I Can definetely tell the difference in regular fried chicken vs this crispy korean fried chicken. Our server Lesly was great and walked us through the menu With any questions we had. Smoothies were also delicious. Will definetely be back!
If you’re looking for a quick, convenient bite while exploring downtown Colorado Springs, this is a great spot to stop for breakfast or lunch. Most of the menu can be made gluten free and they have which options can be gluten free marked on the menu. They also indicate when gluten & dairy free is not possible. It is a shared kitchen but they are careful with cross contact, including making the gluten free baked goods with fresh equipment and ingredients and baking at a different time.
Wow, what a gem!!! The food was absolutely incredible. Chef Ingrid is so gifted and brilliant! Loved getting to hear her wisdom and approach. We had the best time! I highly recommend trying her OG Panang curry, street food Pad Thai, and chicken lollipops. The matcha strawberry tiramisu was super wonderful. Awesome spot for anyone with gluten allergy too! Can't wait to go back!
Deliciousness!! We tried all the gf sweet treats, and all were excellent! Eclairs were my favorite! They were so beautifully made and presented. Culinary perfection, and the coffees and lattes are all wonderful too!
If you look at the world through a child's eyes, you will be full of wonder and joy, especially entering into this spot. The Rabbit Hole transports you into Alice in Wonderland incredible experience. Now we have more reason to return to Colorado Springs.
The entrance itself will beckon you to explore and enjoy lingering a bit longer than expected. Situated in downtown, you'll find the telephone booth with stairs leading to an unforgettable adventurous experience. There is whimsical renditions of Alice in Wonderland decor and art work. With little nooks and corners tucked with great views of the restaurant, atop, main floor, back room, there isn't any bad seat. Gets really happening around happy hour so I recommend reservations.
I simply couldn't resist the White Rabbit Martini. Who doesn't want their drink on fire with a toasted marshmallow awaiting at the end of the concoction? The babe had the Cherry Limeade which has a gummy slice as the garnish (not your childhood limeade). Also big fan of the T Party margarita that blends tequila and coconut rum for a drink bound to leave you smiling nonstop.
Big fan of their numerous gluten free entree choices. WOW, I am speechless. The duck confit is so filling, rich with flavor and a fattiness my belly loved. The babe had their chicken cordon bleu and couldn't stop raving about it. Our other choice would be the bison short ribs. Was disappointed didn't get to have dessert because there wasn't gluten free option other than gelato.
They say if you are just a little playful with life, every moment is a celebration. Celebrate the small wins. Big wins. Every win.

If you’re looking for a higher-end spot to eat in downtown Colorado Springs, this market is a yummy spot. Their menu indicates what dishes can be made gluten free and the staff seemed aware of cross contact. They also have many grab and go options, some of which are gluten free.
Cannot recommend this place enough for anyone with celiac. It is pricy, but the food is amazing and they have some of the softest gluten free buns. They also have dedicated fryers, TATER TOTS, and all their sauces are gluten free. Ordering the salmon burger with no glaze, gf bun, tater tot’s and the aioli for dipping is my fave!
We went here because they offer gluten free options. The pizza was just ok — didn’t live the crust. The Reuben was quite good - I like mine with mustard instead of thousand island, so got it like that.
We went around lunch time, not busy at all. We only ordered dessert, as we don’t like cheese or the entree offerings. This was our first time visiting The Melting Pot in over 7 years, I was surprised that they offer gluten free items—this was a good surprised. I appreciated the care and attention to make sure everything was gluten free.

Are you looking for a flavorful food experience surrounded by beautiful art and pictures all served with love and care? Yes, you will find it here! The seasonings perfectly complement the healthy foods. The service from the owner is genuine care and concern for you and your meal. Most of the foods are also gluten free! Try this hidden gem!
My husband and I usually order takeout, but their food is delicious! 🤤 You will not be disappointed. My husband is all celiac and cannot eat gluten, and he’s never had any exposure or problems after eating here.
Very glad to have tried this restaurant for the first time. Extensive Vegan, Gluten Free, and Vegetarian options. We ordered 5 dishes, everything was amazing, also staff was very friendly and our take-out order was ready promptly. Will absolutely return and highly recommend.
Love that they have gluten free soy sauce and lots of gluten free options. They are pricier than some sushi places nearby but do have higher quality ingredients imo.
Truly exceptional, the gluten-free menu has many choices, and everything was so fresh and seasoned just right. I would have loved to try dessert, but I was too full to order any. Proportions are definitely filling. The wait staff are very friendly, although we did have to ask for refills a couple of times.
Alright alright! I am just gonna say it. This is the absolute best BBQ chain out there. If you know of something better, please let me know. We had the wet brisket, pulled pork, half chicken, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, fries, and cornbread. If there was a place that makes me angry about my human limits to eat, it's this food. Plus, the majority of their food is gluten free friendly, which is absolutely amazing!
The food is great and they are very careful when I tell them I am celiac. I just wish the delicious bbq was chopped up more instead of being mostly a glob and not chopped up as mych most places . All in all it was excellent though.
Mom has celiacs disease where she can’t have gluten and it is severe enough where her food can’t touch bread. Told the cashier, young kid who looked new, that one of the burgers is an allergy and stated protein style. He only entered protein style without notating allergen. Lettuce burger came in same bag as my regular burger and they were touching. Manager offered to remake it . The only issue is that the remake took 10 more minutes as they were slinging orders out the door. In my mind remakes should jump the line and be the next thing made. Overall I’ll be back, but consider not having your customers wait for a wrong order and then wait again for a remake on a busy Saturday night.
Pricy but delicious place for breakfast or lunch! We got the gluten free French toast flight which they make with canyon bakehouse white bread + their breakfast bowls that are naturally gluten free. They cook gluten free orders in a different area of the griddle, change gloves and modify dishes as needed to ensure they are gluten free.
We came in from out of town and stopped in. They have a gluten free sub on the menu. After beginning to eat it, we were told by the server that our order was mixed up and we should stop eating it as it was not gluten free.
Management refused to give us a refund on the food that they messed up as well as food that makes people sick. If you have a gluten allergy, stay away. They do not care about your health of you or your loved ones.
Used to be a great place. I'll never be back. Management was not in and they had to be called by workers. They told us their manager said they wouldnt refund because "they swapped it." Complete joke. What a fall from grace by horrible management!
Update: no call from manager. They really do not care about your buinsess here.
We had a fabulous dinner here from start to finish. All 6 in our party had bison either burgers or on salad. House made chips and sauces also delicious. Separate gluten free menu with plenty of options and fully aware of necessary precautions. Highly recommend!
They have gluten free and/or dairy free ice cream flavors clearly marked on the main menu and keep sealed pints of each flavor for allergy orders that they use a clean scooper for. The employee was super educated on allergens & happy to take the extra couple minutes to get my ice cream from the separate pint. We loved my gluten & dairy free pb chocolate ice cream & my bf’s salted peanut butter ice cream!
On May 26 2024, we had the pleasure to stop in for a amazing dinner, the Manager(red vest) was very nice. But we almost never write restaurant reviews, but we met a waiter there who had to be recognized publicly. Nick was his name and he was phenomenal. He catered to the both of us equally. The other gluten sensitive issues, He was prompt, smart, and knowledgable about the food. And he just had this friendly demeanor about him that made us both happy. By the end of our dinner, two of us said, "He's the best waiter we've had in a very long time.

We had the egg rolls as a starter. They were delicious and enough to share between 4 adults. Then we had the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Fried Rice for dinner. It tasted so fresh and yummy! Then we had the chocolate cake for dessert. It was the perfect ending to an amazing dinner. Everything we had was gluten free! The owners are so knowledgeable and nice. They source their foods locally when possible and also buy fresh meats locally. We will certainly go back!
I can't say enough about this place. I'm vegetarian and I recently found out that I'm gluten sensitive. I thought I was out of luck when it came to Mexican food. Then, I found this place. I left full, happy, and I doesn't even have to break the bank. Even better, my whole family loved the food. We will definitely be back.
Mark is absolutely AMAZING! We struggle eating out with our daughter because of her celiac disease. He has a whole menu for gluten free! Highly recommend giving this a try!
I have eaten here a number of times. But, oh, how it seems to have gone downhill. I ordered the "pork medallions " which I've had before. But tonight, the sauce was out of question, as it now has gluten. In the past, it did not. So, not only was the pork dry, but it wasn't even close to medallions. If it were another commodity, I'd call it stems and seeds. Nothing but some off ends and rejects from decent cuts, full of gissle and over-cookex to boot. The vegetables -- supposedly "fresh" -- were miserable and sloppily overcooked as well. The cabernet was overpriced, given its humble origin. If not for good service, I would rate this restaurant with 1-star today.
