Chimney Rock takes food sensitivities very seriously. As a parent of a child with celiac disease, Chimney Rock provides a safe place for my child to eat and feel like any other kid. When we originally called to talk to them about how they handle food, the first person we spoke to answered confidently that they properly separate food prep areas for people with celiac or other gluten sensitive conditions. This told me they train their staff on this subject. They have a ton of gluten free meals, including pizza. The first time we ate here after my child's diagnosis we had so many questions. Our waitress was patient, wrote down everything, double checked with the kitchen and management, and came back to our table multiple times to make sure everything we asked was answered to our satisfaction. Honestly I can't say enough good things about Chimney Rock Inn. We ate here a bunch of times before celiac and it's been good food and service consistently over the years. Eat here. Bring your family. You'll not regret it.

Almost killed our friend with celiac. Got there at 6:30, didn’t receive food until 8:00. Food received was cold and not appetizing. Never came over to tell us what the issue was and left us hungry.

I’ve eaten here safely 4 times with celiac (very sensitive to cc) I love the wings, fries, and fried Brussels! Can be a longer wait for a table but worth it for the extensive gf menu and safe prep.

A very pleasant shop. There is a lot packed into the space, but in a good way. Excellent use of shelving and floor space. If you are looking for gluten-free cake mixes, dips, snacks, honey, and other foods, Nola B's has got you covered. There is also a selection of chilled items and baked goods. They also have some fun knicknacks like small creamer pitchers, quirky signs & hand towels, and candles. Whether you are searching for gluten-free or not, it's worthwhile to stop by Nola B's.

For celiacs specifically. Very pleased. Called in advance if accommodations for those with celiac (gluten free) are made. YES! So booked a luncheon. Waitress was attentive and well educated...didn't have to explain preparation to be separate from cross contamination..... They have a designated fryer too. Felt "safe" eating there and not getting sick. Food came out seperate from rest of my guests, was very tasty and nice ambiance. So grateful for this option!

Omg this place was so Good! I love the food especially the chicken sandwich. I came from Maryland with my mom and I really enjoyed it. I am gluten free sensitive and the fries were fresh too with my sandwich. Very good service by my server! And Bree came and was very friendly as well with good conversation and recommendations about other things to try on the menu. I will be back! If you are in NJ come check it out you won’t regret! I felt comfortable coming to BJs because they advertise items that are specifically gluten sensitive on their menu. I ordered a salad off of the “gluten sensitive” menu. It came with croutons on it (gluten). I let our waiter know I had celiac disease, which is a severe allergy to gluten, and asked if they could remake it without croutons. 5 minutes later they proceeded to bring out what was clearly the same salad because there were croutons still in it and breadcrumbs all over where they had picked off the croutons. Not cool. I hate being a jerk but allergies are a serious thing. If you can’t accommodate them, please don’t advertise that you do. People can get very sick from this.

I absolutely love everything about this place. The food is incredible, especially if you have celiac disease - their fried calamari is better than most places and it's gluten free! They have a lot of other GF options that are hard to find elsewhere. I've eaten here three times and every host, waiter, and bartender has been incredibly professional, accommodating, and happy to help. The whole staff actually seems like they were professionally trained - a novel idea in 2024. It's also physically beautiful - colonial farmhouse look with some twists here and there. I love this place so much that I have it booked for my wedding next year.

**Updating my review! Thanks Ryan for giving us another opportunity to try the food. I had stopped by multiple times and even order food to go. They have great gluten free options as well. The food was delicious especially the crab dip. They do have a pet-friendly patio seating as well which is awesome!! ***Last review Had visited here twice for some drinks and some good appetizers which was great. However recently when I ordered a take out for bbq ribs they were so dry as though it was frozen. Never ordering food from here but I might stop by for some drinks.

I was excited to see the transformation from its previous life as a bank is astonishing; there’s no trace of its former identity. The decor is thoughtfully curated, with unique accents and an inviting ambiance. The standout feature is the large, central bar that serves as the restaurant’s focal point. Upstairs, the additional seating area is ideal for hosting a larger group. offering a more private and cozy experience. As for the food, there were clear winners and a few misses. The Brussels sprouts were a standout dish—perfectly crisp and full of flavor and the squid ink pasta was another highlight. However, the meatballs didn’t quite meet my expectations and are something I’d skip next time. For those with gluten sensitivities, Wood Stack is accommodating, offering substitutions throughout much of the menu. I’m looking forward to returning and exploring more of their offerings.

Gluten friendly menu!! Literally the best gluten free bun and burger I've had in my life. It was soft and not dry or crumbly at all. Burger was well done the way I like it, rice was good and salad was great with the chipotle ranch sauce! Great service and friendly helpful staff

Met some friends there for the first time. It has a really interesting menu. I saw that they offered a wood-fired gluten free pizza and I had to give it a shot. I have to say that it was probably the best gluten free pizza that I have had outside of home. Thin crust, very crispy and flavorful. It wasn't cheap, but I would buy it again in a heartbeat..

Delicious cider and mead. Great selection of sweet and dry flavors and they have quite a seasonal selection so can't wait to go back to try the upcoming offerings. Bartender was very friendly and welcoming. Great place to go if you want to go out for a drink and cannot havr gluten. Just be aware, when you arrive, you might not even know you're there. The sign is tiny and we almost left the parking lot.

We dined at the Black Sheep (connected to the Red Hen), and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was beautiful and ethereal, the staff couldn’t have been more polite and accommodating, and the food was so good you’ll have to go yourself. The owner herself came to ask us how everything was. Not only this, but her and her staff created a special plate of their delicious Chocolate Ganache Tart with special message for a celebration. They were incredibly accommodating and all of the food was incredible. Lastly, it wouldn’t be doing the place justice to forget to mention their vast vegan and gluten free options.
