DoughBalls Pizza Place, near the beach, is the perfect spot for great pizza and must-try cheese and garlic dough balls. Friendly staff, chill vibe, and gluten-free options make it a winner!
Celebrated my nephew's baptism and the food was delicious. Great they were able to cater for those with coeliac's. The GF tiramisu is a must. Beautiful venue and atmosphere for a special day.
Happened across this place by chance and are glad we did! Food was 10/10, incredible flavours and yes, the fried chicken is gluten free - so many options for coeliacs!
The service was friendly and attentive. Shout out to Ollie and the rest of the team for taking care of us :)
Absolutely everything you could want in a small restaurant/ cafe. Food was extremely good. We visited 3 times with different friends each time whilst we were exploring KI and everyone was very satisfied with what they had from Millie Mae’s. I’m gluten and lactose intolerant and they had a very good range with above average flavours for my dietary requirements 🤠👍🏼

Deep Blue Cafe is a favourite of mine, with its cool coastal vibe and inviting atmosphere along with some of the best food in the South. Gluten free and vegan options are also available. Yummy desserts, great coffee or if you prefer, choose from a selection wines, spirits and freshly squeezed juices. All served by the friendliest competent staff. Indoor and outdoor seating is available with wheelchair access if required. Exciting new spaces will be opened up soon with brand new amenities. Walk in, or make a booking, especially for groups. No time, don't worry, the fabulous food is available for take away. 😋 😀
We were there with a group of 18 for a 40th birthday, the staff were very accommodating with the table set up. All the meals came out together (which I was not expecting with this number of people) all were piping hot and the food was great. The kitchen and wait staff were young, and did a fantastic job. The menu catered well for the gluten free, dairy free and vegans that we had in the group. The setting is lovely, the prices are very reasonable, and I would highly recommend .
Staff were extremely helpful in tailoring the set menu to accommodate our dietary requirements (pregnant and gluten-free) - more care taken than I have experienced at many venues. Thank you!
Visited on a Tuesday, tried their $25 curry & house wine deal.
Curry, roti and additional gluten free garlic bread was hot, fresh and delicious.
With a glass of Yalumba wine - good value for money (noting I paid extra for the garlic bread).
The curries were tasty and a good portion size. Could not fault the dishes.
Was quiet-ish, but is a Tuesday. Table felt and sounded sticky as you moved (booth table) but otherwise it was an ok dining atmosphere. Just a Tuesday pop in and out vibe.
Would definitely recommend going to try the curry night and am keen to see what else they do well.
So disappointed. The pancakes themselves were dry as a bone and tough. I thought they might've been gluten free - they were so tasteless.
And there were too many sweet toppings! It was simply a massively confused sugar hit - with no clear flavours, except for the ice cream. And as my partner said, who wants ice cream for breakfast.
We also ordered another breakfast (my breakfast) that never arrived. But, I was more worried about how bad the pancakes were tbh. Diabolical!
We didn't have to wait too long for the food, which was good. Service was polite. And unlike every other cafe on the strip - we were able to get a seat here, which was nice too.
Coffee was fine. No complaints.
Food was nice and tasty, came quite quickly, service was on and off, but the place was extremely busy so it was completely understandable. I don’t normally eat lamb as I don’t like the taste but the lamb rack was so tasty!
They also cater for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs. Curry so nice too and excellent wine list. Only complaint was it was noisy but if you want to avoid that, go during weeknights
Had the best gluten free burger here! It’s the first place I’ve been that has served a gluten free bun that is bigger than the ‘normal’ bun. This was a pleasant surprised as I am very used to paying extra for a smaller portion.
Everything was great, it certainly helped with beautiful weather. I had the gluten free base which was ok but would have been better if cooked longer. It seams universal to pay an additional $4 for it which makes me wonder, is it free to serve normal pizza bases? I find it a rip off, yet very happy you provide this option to celiacs
Let me tell you…..
we were looking for a place to have a coffee and my husband suggested this cafe, I was told not convinced after seeing the menu and not seeing anything gluten free, but as soon as we sat down the lovely waitress offered us the menu and I did mention that only my husband was to eat the crepes as I explained that I was coeliac to our surprise when she told us that they also had an option of gluten free
crepes !!!! I was overjoyed, and they were so delicious with home made rhubarb jam. Tomorrow morning we are going back for another selection of gluten free breakfast!!!!!
Food was good with many gluten free options. Cocktail list was inventive with many options using the distillery’s own gins. Plenty of large tables inside and out for groups. Staff generally pretty good and attentive. We had a new one who was clearly finding their way around. The big tip off was asking if we want cutlery to eat our food! Bless. I’m sure they’ll learn the ropes quick enough. :)
Amazing view, amazing food. FRESH smoothies! I loved the tutti fruitti. the gluten free (yes a GLUTEN FREE) crepe with fruit and maple syrup was amazing and filling. my partner got a beer and chicken burger- just as amazing. water glistens in the sun and the palm trees really give it that final touch.
