They have gluten free batter and bread crumbs for fish and chips. They have a separate fryer too! When you tell them you have Celiac disease they will take extra precautions to prepare the food as well. I highly recommend this place if you have celiac disease.

The vegan salad was delicious and didn't need the haloumi I added. It was healthy, satisfying, and would have been great on its own. The salted caramel almond slice was also good, and it was gluten-free, vegan, and refined sugar-free. The lemon honey was amazing, especially since I asked for a super strong one and got extra lemon honey ginger syrup and hot water. The staff was friendly. I also found a nice treat for myself at the crystal shop nearby that closes at 1pm.

We stopped at George's while passing through Raglan and loved our experience. They have a separate fryer and I had delicious fried chicken. After asking about their protocol for gluten free pizza I opted not to eat it. They do use a separate plate when they put it in the oven so it doesn't touch anything but they have an assembly line with the toppings so there is a risk. They offered to make mine first since we got there right when they opened so all the toppings were fresh and not contaminated but I opted for the fried chicken which was delicious and highly recommended.
