Love true foods ! Waitress was very accommodating for my daughter order who just wanted a gluten free pizza with red sauce and vegan cheese . Love the lavender matcha ! I always order that and so many vegan options. First time trying the vegan cookie and ice cream was delish !
This place is amazing! I have celiac disease and have a hard time finding safe places to eat. I had the gluten free chicken tender platter and chocolate chip cookies, which were both unbelievable. The wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive and explained that everything was prepared separately using a dedicated fryer. My gluten consuming family also loved their food. My husband said it was the best pastrami he’s ever had and my son had an “extra cheesy” grilled cheese. The owner visited our table and introduced himself. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Fresh, delicious food. Excellent service. Beautifully updated dining areas plus an outdoor seating option. Food not heavy or highly processed. Dedicated vegan menu and dedicated gluten free menu. What a gem!

Absolutely delicious food with a lot of gluten free options! The beef and broccoli was positively scrumptious and my fiance feasted on the honey chicken and was left craving more. It is definitely our new Christmas eve tradition
The entrees are very gluten-free friendly. All sandwiches and wraps can be made with gluten-free breads. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable - he told me their fryers aren’t dedicated to just French fries and gave me a salad on the side instead.

I'm surprised I liked it. Went here once for a book club meeting; we sat upstairs and I did not order anything. The others ordered what looked like tasty, greasy, cheesy, fatty bar food. (I think it was the patatas I saw and was on the fence about trying. It looked like it was too much, but they liked it).
Came back another time and tried a hot dog - it was pretty good, I like the gluten free bun option and that you can make your own. Very casual, odd location, but there is some parking.
I'm not a hot dog aficionado, I've probably only ever eaten one out at a food venue in NJ two other times: 1, at point pleasant beach, at that yellow stand in the middle of the boardwalk, where they have the best boardwalk fries - and the hot dog there is a footlong and we tried it once and split it 3 ways, but I had to eat it without the bun. And it was good. 2, the cider mill near hacklebarney state park, where the hot dogs and sauerkraut are cooked in the cider or something like that. Also ate it without the bun, and I do like it and try to get there once a year or once every two years.
Sometimes, it's those mediocre, just okay experiences that you may come back for, and it'll hit the spot.
I feel like I should add the health warning: hot dogs are not brain food and may take years off of your life ("Eating a hot dog takes away 36 minutes of healthy life"). Everything in moderation.

I absolutely love everything about this place. The food is incredible, especially if you have celiac disease - their fried calamari is better than most places and it's gluten free! They have a lot of other GF options that are hard to find elsewhere. I've eaten here three times and every host, waiter, and bartender has been incredibly professional, accommodating, and happy to help. The whole staff actually seems like they were professionally trained - a novel idea in 2024. It's also physically beautiful - colonial farmhouse look with some twists here and there. I love this place so much that I have it booked for my wedding next year.
Our first time for dinner today ! Obi was Our server and he was wonderful , very helpful and friendly. Our food was delicious - the gluten free pizza was THE BEST ! Hostess and mangers all very professional
Crystal, our server was a consumate professional. Great attention to detail and they were able to provide a Gluten-Free menu that made it easier to order. Really enjoyed our 1st visit there.
A must see if you’re in the area! Super cute atmosphere, excellent bakery/desserts, and the food was delicious. I requested a gluten free version of their short rib tacos and had them in corn tortillas! It was delish! Took a walk around, including the second floor dining room, which I was graciously told I could take a look ‘upstairs’ and what a treat to see all the old pictures, the woodwork and such beauty of this historic building. Highly recommend!

Best “chain” (there are like 18 nationwide) by far. Always fresh food, awesome young and helpful servers, and fun drinks! I love their chicken pineapple bowl. My mom has a gluten allergy and they’re accommodating and are always quick to get her a gluten free menu. Happy hour is so fun, I recommend the bahamarita. They also have Virgin specialty drinks, I would’ve loved them as a kid. Definitely worth trying at least once !!
Very disappointed as before making reservations we went on their website and it showed vegetarian menu, keto menu and gluten free menu. Being a vegetarian was happy to see they had these menu choices only to go there and find out they do not have that. There was only one pasta choice for me. My family eats meats so they were ok but was very disappointed. Also our server was too busy with many tables assigned to him and then at the end just disappeared on us and we waiting for him to take our dessert order. Was not a cheap meal and expected a better service and meal for $100 plus per person
I think I can say this is my favorite sushi spot in Hoboken now, and I have tried most of them. It’s been a year or two since I was last here, and I’m not sure why it took me so long to come back. The quality of fish is on par with many of the others, but the creativity of the menu is superior and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. Everything was great, but the rock shrimp roll was my favorite. They were also very accommodating for a gluten allergy in my group.
We were there last night, and Will behind the bar was absolutely amazing!! I have celiac, and the amount of care he gave was incredible. He made sure he checked with the chef on things I ordered “just to be safe.” I didn’t ask him to do that, he just did it because he cared. I always feel so bad when we go out to eat, because I know it’s probably very annoying for the servers and chefs (and trust me, it’s just as annoying for me… I miss foods made with flour so much! lol) I just expect that I may get some gluten in my food, and that’s on me, but he was on top of everything I ordered… even down to my salad dressing. Something I hadn’t even thought about. I can’t not put into words how fantastic he was. Top tier service! On top of that, our food was beyond delicious. We go out to eat often, and this was one of the best dinners we have ever had!!
The food is absolutely amazing! They also accommodate for allergies (celiac friendly!). The service we had for my friend's bridal shower was phenomenal. 10/10 will come back again 😌

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! I really appreciated that they clearly marked the gluten-free options on the menu. The quinoa and squash dish was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it! The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very enjoyable.
Great view. Expensive (little side salad $5). Great drinks. decent portions. If you don't like (or can't eat) garlic don't go here. EVERYTHING is loaded with garlic. Garlic mashed with almost every entree (no substitutions), garlic on the chef's vegetables, garlic in the stuffed seafood. Why so much garlic? Dinner was overall good, but it was because our server Ally went above and beyond for me. I have a garlic allergy (yes I know, awful) and I'm gluten free. She went to the other restaurant side and got me a potato herself after the kitchen couldn't accommodate a substitution. Filet mignon was good. I was hoping for seafood but seemed everything had gluten in it. breaded this, stuffed that, etc. I don't recommend going here if you have dietary restrictions because without the fantastic service from Ally I would've not been able to eat much.
Grilled fish were dry and kids menu was boring with only fried food and plain pasta. They do not have any gluten free options apart from salad and grilled fish. Waiter was not able to offer any accommodations on the menu even for dietary restrictions.
Sun Tavern has something for everyone. My daughter loves the Mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers, being gluten free I enjoy their salads, and my vegan friend was over the moon with their Veggie burger and sweet potato fries. Servers are attentive and the home vibe makes this a great place to keep going back to.

Tell your server about your gluten allergy and they do an amazing job helping you. If you like sushi they have good gf sushi. I have celiac and I am perfectly fine and enjoy the food.
Blu in the Hudson: A Five-Star Feast with a View!
From the moment you step into Blu in the Hudson in Weehawken, NJ, you know you’re in for something special. The stunning décor is a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm, making it the kind of place where you feel instantly welcome—whether you’re on a romantic date or just treating yourself to a great meal (because, honestly, you deserve it).
Service? Absolutely 5-Star!
The staff here aren’t just servers; they’re culinary matchmakers. Their expert recommendations led us to some of the best choices on the menu, and they made sure our drinks were always full and our experience was top-notch.
Speaking of Drinks…
The cocktails are next-level. Think fun, modern, and a little bit of magic in every sip. Whether you’re into something bold and adventurous or smooth and refreshing, Blu has a drink with your name on it.
Save Room for Dessert—Trust Me!
If you leave without trying the Flourless Chocolate S’mores, you’re doing it wrong. This masterpiece—featuring gluten-free graham cracker, chocolate mousse, and marshmallow—is basically a campfire experience on a plate, but make it luxury. It’s so good, I considered ordering a second one… for research purposes, of course.
Final Verdict? GO. IMMEDIATELY.
With gorgeous ambiance, incredible service, creative cocktails, and mind-blowing desserts, Blu in the Hudson is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommend—just don’t forget to invite me next time!
👀👀Looking for the perfect spot in Asbury Park to enjoy great food and vibes? Look no further than 📍Pascal & Sabine! This cozy gem offers a fantastic dining experience for all occasions.
As a gluten-free diner, I’m always on the lookout for places that cater to my needs without sacrificing taste. Pascal & Sabine’s escargot is simply to die for, and the occasional gluten-free bread is a delightful bonus. 🥹
I make the drive from NYC just to indulge in their delicious offerings. Thanks, Pascal & Sabine, for always keeping things exciting. Can’t wait to try their new experiences in 2024! Oui, oui! 😎
We have been coming for brunch for years and have always had a great meal with exceptional service. We prefer to sit at the bar. The high tops in the bar area have stools with no backs to them, which are not comfortable to us. Bartenders are always so nice and provide excellent service. This week, we tried the kimchi fried rice, pretzel bites, and hot wings. The kimchi rice had a nice spice to it with a runny fried egg on top. For $10 you get a huge bowl of crispy pretzel bites with everything but the bagel seasoning on top. Their wings are not breaded, but crispy and meaty with the perfect amount of sauce. All of our food came out hot and quickly. There are a few gluten free and vegetarian options on the menu. We have tried the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and burger on previous trips and have loved all of them. There is a separate dining area away from the bar, which can be noisy. On nice days you can sit outside in outside bar area and table seating.
Very good food and service! Chef made a grilled chicken breast for gluten free people...great time. Grandson loved getting candy from their ship! You will find everything here! So eclectic and fun!
Really nice spot. Semi limited gluten free options and nothing is clearly marked GF on the menu (however vegan is marked). Food was good but not amazing, prices are a tad high for the food I feel. Great atmosphere though, nice place. The waitress was very sweet (Erika) she was great
