As someone with celiac disease, finding safe and delicious gluten-free options can be a challenge, but Pondicheri absolutely delivers! Their menu has so many naturally gluten-free dishes, and the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions. It’s such a relief to enjoy incredible Indian-inspired food without worrying about cross-contamination.
Everything I’ve tried has been packed with flavor, fresh, and so thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is also warm and inviting, making it a great spot for anything from a casual lunch to a special night out. If you’re gluten-free (or just love amazing food), this place is a must-visit!

The food is delicious and the portions are generous, with plenty of gluten-free options available. However, be prepared for a wait, as there's usually a line and parking can be quite difficult.
We arrived Saturday around noon and didn't have to wait. Food is always fabulous and the staff are friendly and attentive. They have lots of gluten free and vegan options. Love this place!
Food is good but pretty loud inside to have a conversation however we went on a Sunday morning and it was very busy. I like the gluten free options for the pancakes.

Our experience at this Italian restaurant in Houston was nothing short of excellent! We chose this upscale gem specifically for its extensive gluten-free options, and my wife couldn’t have been happier with her meal. Our server, Alejandro, was fantastic—crafting the perfect cocktails and providing attentive service throughout our visit. He even surprised my wife with a special gelato, which made her evening extra special!
The kitchen did a remarkable job with every dish we ordered—each plate was not only delicious but beautifully presented. We were truly impressed and can’t wait to return every time we’re in Houston. This place is definitely a keeper! Highly recommend!

This is definitely the BEST Filipino restaurant in Houston, probably Texas too. Their food is super tasty and doesn't look like a pile of slop like typical Filipino food does. They are also super accommodating to food allergies which I have yet to encounter another Filipino restaurant that does, especially gluten. Highly recommend the fried rice, lechon, cola adobo, wings, bistek, bbq skewers, any of their cocktails, and of course their Halo Halo!
Okay, very unique place. Yes, safe Gluten-free The owners are incredible, very knowledgeable, and two people who will give you positive energy—fantastic! Ask for Mary, the owner, and you will be taken care of. Lastly, Houston has a lot of bars, but a handful of cocktail bars. This place is top-notch for drinks. Five stars! Go now!
Crisp is super yummmmy !! I really enjoy their gluten free pizzas and I’m gluten free .
Love the drinks as well.
Parking isn’t bad which is good, solid three stalls in the bathroom . The music isn’t super loud , The outside is nice on a good weather day. Happy hour is the way to go as the GF crust is an extra
$6 which is steep tbh.
Snooze never disappoints. Food is always on point. The service is excellent. The only thing I would say is the inside seating area is usually very loud and busy. If it’s a comfortable weather day I recommend sitting outside. If you like pancakes a side order of the pancake of the month is always a treat! See pictures below of this months do it pancake. On our last visit I accidentally forgot to ask for the gluten free version of my food because of my celiac. I only realized when my food was brought out to the table. Our waitress was very kind and had my meal remade and did not add anything to our bill. One of the best places for brunch!
I ate at dish society in this place but theres tons of options from indian,Mediterranean to Mexican and burgers. Dish society is amazing, local and healthy. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Great spot
brian our server was great!
i have a gluten and shellfish allergy and he was very knowledgeable about the options i had!
he also made great suggestions for my date to have the prime rib.
don’t pass up on the pad thai too!!
thanks brian for enhancing our experience :)
We have been to this Snooze location multiple times. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. However, today's food experience has ruined my desire to return. I ordered egg whites with my entree and found a hair cooked right in the middle when I sliced it open. They ended up replacing the egg whites. I also ordered a gluten-free blueberry pancake. As I was finishing the pancake while our tab was being closed out (in a rush to leave as we were the last customers), I commented to my husband that the taste and texture were different from past gluten-free pancakes at Snooze, so we printed out our ticket to confirm our order. It clearly stated that it was a GF pancake, so I assumed it was just made "extra fluffy" today. I returned home and started feeling sick; now suffering all the tell-tale signs of an allergic reaction to gluten. I was willing to overlook the hair but serving the wrong non-allergy order is unacceptable. The kitchen staff needs proper training and improvement. Customers shouldn't have to reconfirm their order with their server before eating, but highly recommend those with allergies do so before eating here and at their own risk.
Many flavorful dishes to try. Gluten-free items were clearly marked. Taking your time to eat is encouraged here - and we learned the hard way that their hearty dishes should be eaten at a slow, European pace.
Food, service and atmosphere were all just okay. Nothing was extraordinary. I was told that the quesadilla and chimichanga couldn’t be made gluten-free. I ended up ordering the las enchiladas and chile con queso. If I was already in the area, I’d stop by and try different versions of the gf corn taco but I definitely would not drive back solely to eat at this restaurant.
Very cute place! I love the fresh organic food that is easily accommodating to allergies, like gluten and dairy, the clean vibes inside and relaxed outdoor patio. Good space for the kids to run around. The patio has accessible ordering remotely from your tables with quick service. I enjoyed their mocktails, but they have tasty looking cocktails as well! Will definitely be back!
Our 1st revisit since they opened. The menu and drinks have changed drastically and for the better. Had a good time at the bar. My sister can't have gluten and they really went the extra mile to modify a dish so she could enjoy it. Totally awesome.
Lots of gluten free options. Food was amazing! Service could be better... I waited 30 minutes to get my check and then had to track down the waiter to pay.
The food at Ambriza is pretty good, and my family really liked it. If you have celiac, like me, however, finding something safe to eat is very tricky. Although the menu labels many things as “gluten free,” most of these items are NOT celiac safe because fried items go into a shared fryer and their homemade corn tortillas are made on the same equipment as the flour tortillas. Not even the tortilla chips are safe, unfortunately. I was very lucky to get a very well informed waitress who was able point out the only safe things on the menu: the crema poblana and caldo azteca soups and the grilled chipotle chicken (although the yuca fries will need to be substituted with something else like rice and beans due to CC). Maybe bring your own tortillas if you want more options.
My favorite part of my Moxie experience was Alexa my waitress" she was polite and tried to accommodate my gluten allergy needs. Had the steak salad..the steak was pretty good.. there were 1 or 2 pieces of meat that had a little more fat than I would care for..some of the greens in the salad could have been fresher..besides that I will try it again..I've also been to the one in Dallas it seems my experience there was a little better.
This was a really special meal, excellent flavours, service and ambience. Anita was particularly careful re gluten free and some dishes were cooked specially to be gf.

Drinks: Alright I will say in the past I wasn't really a huge fan of the matcha. But ordering it again I do believe they've improved.
Food: The cream inside of the croissant roll was unexpected but not bad. The olive oil lemon bread is really good but dry which is expected for being gluten free. (I'd like to try more of the food next time)
The atmosphere is great. Even better now that they've opened up the bar area. Service is fast, and there's a condiment* area to help yourself.
I would definitely recommend coming here.
(*It has sparkling and regular water. Extra tops straws and mini cups. Along with sugar packets and napkins)

Great whiskey bar with an elevated menu of comfort food. Went for brunch and was not disappointed by a single thing. Service was outstanding. Drinks were perfect and well matched to the menu. Food was amazingly good - rustic, flavorful, creative and perfectly prepared. The Smokehouse Benedict was a star, but the short rib chiliquiles and gluten free flapjacks were also really really good.
Made an 8pm reservation and had to wait 40 min for our table. Unacceptable honestly. Food was good and lots of gluten free options, our service was whatever, atmosphere was great!
