Our daughter has Celiac Disease and we had a great experience at the Mall of America location, so we wanted to go to this location when visiting Universal Studios. With it being our first time here, we wanted to double-check that everything ran the same. Kelly B. reassured us that there was a dedicated fryer for fries, gluten-free hamburger buns, and that our daughter would be taken care of. After we paid, we verbally said thank you and explained why Kelly B. did an exceptional job, and she put my daughter and us at ease. She went into further explanation of how the head chef or manager brings out the food for allergies. I had no idea. We will continue to go to a Margaritaville when available. THANK YOU, Kelly B. For the other six of us, our food was great, and service was excellent. Clean establishment and rest rooms. Walk-up bar is available on the side of the building. Sign said 1 drink per person. Management - please give Kelly B. the recognition she deserves.

Lots of seating here and even without a reservation we were seated pretty quickly. The service was great. We sat on the patio and got to enjoy characters dancing to music. The food was great! The menu is marked with vegan, gluten sensitive, and vegetarian items.

Currently staying in the Wilderness Lodge and thought we would try the Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner the other night. I told the server that I would need gluten free meal as I'm celiac, they assured me that's fine. An hour after my meal I became extremely unwell due to my food being contaminated with gluten, I spent the following day in bed unwell. The food did taste nice and had spoke about going back until we realised the food was not safe for me to eat. The staff are extremely fun and friendly in the restaurant.

Not a character experience. Arrived early for our reservations but were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. The service was good and our waiter was attentive. Like most of Disney, they were very careful with allergies and gluten. Hard to say if my celiac partner got sick from here or earlier - she seems to think it was safe for celiac disease people. The beast comes out, walks down the main corridors with a little wave and a bow, and that’s it. No Belle, no table side experience, you get perhaps 45-60 seconds seeing the beast. I’m not sure why we thought this was a character experience but it definitely isn’t. To be fair to Disney, it’s not labeled as a character experience. The environment is pretty cool as always. The food is highly average. Normal/gluten baguette was dry and stale. Beef short rib was dry. French onion soup was good though. Dessert was average. The price point is aggressive, even for Disney. USD $70 prix fixe menu without alcohol. Ultimately, the meal is completely forgettable. Perhaps if you’re a super fan of the beauty and the beast ballroom scene, you might appreciate it, but for average Disney fans I wouldn’t expect anything special here. Suggest skipping this and going to Cinderella’s Royal table for a much better experience (see separate review). Won’t return to Be Our Guest.

Set in a Marvel-inspired ambiance, it's an exciting experience but reviews warn about high prices.

I went to place my order and informed the cashier that someone in my party had a gluten allergy. she responded “oh god” as she rolled her eyes and walked off. i heard so many amazing things about the willingness to accomodate for allergies at universal studios, but i can tell you we experienced the exact opposite. we were treated as a burden and felt very disrespected. the service was slow (im assuming because of understaffing) but it took me 40 minutes to get my food, at which point they hadnt even let us get our drinks. i would not recommend at all.

The menu doesn't label items as gluten-free, but there are plenty of naturally gluten-free options available. The staff is knowledgeable about celiac disease and can help guide you on what to avoid. The food is always tasty and fresh. I've been a regular customer for years and have never been disappointed. The drinks and coffee may not be to everyone's liking, but my husband enjoys them. The guacamole is amazing, tacos are great, and the sides are delicious. They also offer entrees and salads. The location is cute but small, so plan accordingly. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Great Gluten Free experience. So many choices that they label the gluten items instead because there are so few. Very interesting menue of unique takes on traditional food and fusion items.
