Today we traveled 160 km to eat at Germany's first 100% gluten-free restaurant.
It was an unforgettable experience for our family, and especially for our son who has celiac disease.
The menu is very varied, the ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are freshly cooked and prepared in-house.
We sampled everything and shared everything. It was incredibly delicious. The price for the four of us wasn't any more than we would have paid at a traditional Italian restaurant.
The excellent service and the friendliness of the entire staff were also particularly noteworthy!
We'll be back, thank you very much!
Went as a family with our two young children. We were promptly helped and provided a high chair. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pizza was great how delightful to find a gluten free dinner option! Celiac sufferers in Kassel rejoice!
Great restaurant, incredibly friendly service, and everything gluten and lactose-free! The taste is truly amazing! If you have celiac disease or any food intolerances, you can eat here without worry! Brilliant!
I order gluten-free pizza very often. It's simply the best around here. The price is also perfectly reasonable. The owner is very nice, and the staff is also very friendly.
As an Italian I can assure you that the pizza is excellent. Of course, some combinations here would not even come to mind after a troubled night (pizza with chicken or avocado.. my god)
However, by choosing a classic base and adding one or two ingredients, you will have a pizza that has nothing to envy of those at home. Congratulations.
Also gluten free
Superb, fresh, modern, healthy food – deliciously and creatively cooked. And completely gluten-free. The landlady is extremely nice. I'd go back anytime.
Economical really hits the nail on the head. €13.50 for a veggie pizza topped with canned mushrooms and zucchini isn't exactly what you'd call a steal. Ordering took a long time, whether for food or drinks. Waiters argued over their assigned tables in front of the customers.
The €3.50 surcharge for gluten-free is discriminatory against all those with the disease.
Rather inconspicuous from the outside and unfortunately doesn't look inviting, but the restaurant is actually quite nice and tidy. The food was great and freshly prepared. There is an extra gluten-free kitchen and an extra gluten-free menu. You don't have to give up anything. The best thing was the homemade gf bread for the bruschetta. The non-Celus were also enthusiastic.
Always friendly, great cake with a large gluten-free selection, the boiled beef is very good and the green sauce is wonderful.
We always enjoy coming and are happy about the uncomplicated, free and calm atmosphere.
There are always smiles and we feel invited to come.
Everyone from small to large is welcome here.
After our New Year's walk in the Karlsaue, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch here today.
In addition to the dog-friendliness (a bowl of water and a treat bag with high-quality treats were brought to us without asking!) and exemplary hospitality, I would like to emphasize that the pancake dough is generally lactose-free and even GLUTEN-FREE upon request!
You really look for it for a long time in Kassel, and the pancakes are simply sensationally delicious and worth recommending!
The "Pancake" is beautifully located between Fulda and Karlsaue, the furnishings are homely and cozy (with a fireplace), the toilets are very clean and the menu leaves nothing to be desired, even for hearty connoisseurs!
Kind regards from Ahnatal,
Melanie and Volker with Joy
Great gluten-free pizza, very friendly service, and the Negroni was also excellent. We had a table reserved for late afternoon (Friday). Thank you for the lovely evening.
We'd love to come back.
Gluten-free cheesecake paradise and mostly every breakfast variation can be made gluten-free as well like the homemade granola in the acai or the replacement of the bread when you want a Benedict badly. The service shows lots of attitude. But the cheesecakes are really all worth to smile and sip a matcha.
I've gotten pizza there several times. Every time I am amazed by the taste and the dough.
The gluten-free pizzas taste incredibly good. Not many pizzerias can compete with that.

The most INCREDIBLE gluten free desserts I’ve ever had!!! Delicious chocolate cake and mango crumble and wonderful gluten free quiche! The matcha latte I got was so tasty as well! HIGHLY recommend this place, especially if you are gluten free! 😍💖
We were very disappointed. We know Vapiano well and have been to different branches frequently. The payment system was impersonal.
The chosen parmesan was forgotten, the pasta was mushy and the food was lukewarm at best. The gluten-free pinsa was very rich, but only lukewarm and the vegetables were extremely oily. 22€ for the Pinsa is completely exaggerated!
It's a shame there's no gluten-free pasta anymore. We don't want to go back here.
A lovely café with delicious cakes and very pleasant service. You can order from outside using a QR code, and everything will be served to you. If you're looking to avoid refined sugar and gluten, this is the place for you.
Small pizzeria that is only open for lunch. Pizza comes in two sizes; The small pizza is really small though. Gluten-free pizza is offered (plus 3 euros and there is only one size here). Overall quite good, quite good average I would say espresso at a fair price (1.90 euros). I would give it three stars plus. Service was good and friendly. You can go there once. But I don't want to talk about the best pizza in town.
We felt very comfortable, service was very warm and courteous. The food is brilliant, everything is really very tasty. I would particularly like to highlight the fact that the restaurant is very good for people who rely on gluten-free food. Everything can be ordered gluten-free, the support and advice is very good, so you really feel safe when you order gluten-free. That was really absolutely great! Happy to come back! Ambiance can be a bit noisy when it's busy, but was still ok.
The 100% gluten-free offering is really good... so good that you can't tell that the baguette rolls and nut rolls are gluten-free. And that goes for more things like the almond biscuits... It's also great that there are vegan options!
And all without any risk of contamination. A dream for people with celiac disease.
THANKS!
This was a very accommodating place that provided excellent service and carefully avoided cross-contamination with gluten. The gluten-free burger buns were delicious, and the burgers were quite good. They also have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, so the fries were also excellent. I highly recommend it for those with celiac disease, like myself.

The food was very good.
Service was friendly and competent.
Our drinks could have been refilled more often - unfortunately a problem in many restaurants.
Gluten-free pizza possible.
The "LaPiazza" is worth a visit!
Super nice staff who also know a lot about celiac disease. Had a gluten free banana bread that was delicious and the coffee was wonderful too. Great recommendation!! 😊
Super tasty pizza and the owner did everything he could to ensure that we didn't get wet outside while it was raining. Everything also available gluten-free! Highly recommended!
The Autumn Apple is one of my favorite vegan restaurants! The staff is wonderfully friendly and the food tastes very good. There are many vegan, partly vegan and also gluten-free dishes.
For people who get cold easily: take something to wear over the top. I find it a bit cold most of the time.
Modernly designed ice cream parlor with a takeaway counter.
They offer both fruit and dairy ice cream flavors; all varieties are gluten-free, and vegan options are indicated.
The ice cream tasted good; the melon ice cream could have been a bit fruitier, but it still wasn't bad.
The restrooms are clean.
Incredibly great café with nice people and delicious food. And virtually everything is possible in gluten-free form, thank you very much for the delicious breakfast!
The pizzeria is decorated in a very nice Italian style. We ate pasta and pizza and were very happy with it.
The restaurant offers gluten-free pizza and pasta, which is unfortunately not shown on the menu. The gluten free pizza is really delicious!
Simply gluten-free burgers (with mixed cuisine). With appropriate communication until the plate "safely" landed on my plate. A great treat! Interesting burgers to boot...
I primarily eat gluten-free pizza here, which I always like very much. I have celiac disease and so far food has never upset my stomach, this is evidence of careful separation of gluten and gluten-free products. I've also often gotten drinks on the house.
Really good breakfast, especially things you never make yourself, like poached eggs etc! The price is upper middle class, but you don't go every week! Gluten-free bread was no problem and apparently contamination-free, otherwise I would have noticed it straight away.
The burgers were very tasty. The gluten-free bun offered was also available. The location, right next to the train station, is good. Absolutely recommended, especially because of the top burgers.
Our visit to the restaurant was a complete success. The service was really top and very accommodating. We were particularly impressed by how attentively any intolerances were addressed - we even asked again just to be sure.
Gluten-free pizza and pasta is possible.
The food was very tasty and rounded off the evening perfectly. All in all a great experience, we'll definitely be back!
My group and I went out of our way to try this place, specifically because I am a vegetarian and my wife has celiac (can’t eat gluten), and their menu seemed to offer nice options for us all.
The counter person was pleasant and helpful, but not knowledgeable at all when we asked what options were safely gluten free. Only the cook had this information, and instead of speaking to us directly, the cashier had to run back and ask things several times, despite us being the only customers in the restaurant. We eventually learned that none of the sauces are gluten free, nor are any of the sides because they are prepared in a shared fryer with glutenous items. None of this information was made available online, only in person when asked.
As for the vegetarian burger I ordered, it was a terrible disappointment. The falafel patty had no seasoning, and worst of all was soft and mushy, similar to mashed potatoes.
Those of us who don’t have dietary restrictions thought the food was good enough, but it should be noted that the wraps aren’t closed, only covered in foil, so when you hold it properly everything leaks out the bottom, making a real mess (which was especially difficult because no napkins were packed with our order for six people.
Not a place I would ever recommend to a vegetarian or gluten free person, and definitely not someplace I’d return to.
Absolutely recommended. In addition to the very tasty food, there are homemade lemonades that are also great to try.
The prices are extremely low and not just for Frankfurt/Main.
NATURAL: Gluten-free food, suitable for celiac disease possible.
We will travel the extra 120 km for this restaurant again soon.
It's worth it. The “service team”, consisting of the owner couple, is top.
In dry weather you can also eat outside.
Absolutely recommended!
Today I relied on the Google reviews and stars and ate here for the first time.
Extremely friendly welcome, ate gluten-free, tried a fantastic dessert.
I'm impressed. Service staff very friendly.
Even a lightning-fast delivery service is offered.
Come again
Very tasty stone oven pizza. What's particularly great is that there is also very good gluten-free pizza and pasta for people with celiac disease.
Super customer oriented.
When the gluten-free pizza that my wife was really looking forward to was finally sold out, the chef created a special pasta delicacy for her with asparagus and prawns.
Totally recommended.
