I have celiac disease and my partner has a nut allergy. Our server Olivia was absolutely incredible about communicating with us and the kitchen about what to order and how to prep it. It was the best gluten free meal I've had in New Jersey. The atmosphere was incredible with beautiful decor and lighting. I will definitely be back
GF chocolate cupcake with chocolate covered strawberry was really good. My celiac hubby had that. He said it didn't taste gluten free. It definitely was. Pricy but a treat.
There are many things to admire about Beanie’s: the friend staff, the clean environs, the great name. But I really appreciate it because it has so many varieties of Oreo flavors: golden Oreo, mint Oreo, gluten-free Oreo. Mallomar is a rare pleasure to find as an ice cream, and Dr. Darkness (chocolate ice cream with chocolate specks) is a genius name and flavor. Seconds, please!
We came here for a lunch as a walk-in and were immediately seated. The interior is nicely decorated, and the food was fresh. We both had the lunch special for an app and entree. A healthy option with gluten-free and dairy-free options.
This is a welcoming environment, with farmhouse chic decor, friendly service, and phenomenal food. There are lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. A splendid find.
I visited the Morristown Diner on Saturday, December 2nd, 2024, at around 11:30 for Brunch. I ordered a coffee and a signature omelet, which cost around 18 before tipping. The diner is in a very accessible location and had a big parking lot so finding parking was easy even though it was busy. Once I entered, I was immediately greeted by a friendly waitress called Emily. Emily sat us down at a table. Since it was my first time at that diner, I asked Emily what are some recommendations and she recommended me the "garden state omelet". Since I just came from the gym, the omelet was perfect as it was packed with healthy vegetables and protein from the egg. I waited for about 15 minutes before I was served my food. During this time I took a look around the diner and it was very clean with a class diner decor. There were chrome accents, bright red booths, and a retro vibe. There were gluten-free items at the diner as well as vegetarian dishes. There were no student discounts but the portion sizes were very good for the price. Overall, I had a really good experience. The atmosphere was very nostalgic of the "Diner Reimagined". The food was flavorful with very good portion sizes. I look forward to returning.
Just in town for a wedding and stopped in here for lunch. Lots of veggie and gluten free options. The food was delicious and the employees were friendly and helpful. They were nice enough to let me do a custom giant order of the dessert nachos to go. They were a big hit with hungry groomsmen!
Starting with the phone call to make a reservation for 15 all the way to paying the bill it was an awesome experience. The man on the phone asked about allergies and if we were
Celebrating anything. They put us in the wine room which seems like it would be an awesome private party room.
There were 3 other tables in their as well as us, it was nice cause we could hear each other in this room. Our server Thomas, paid special attention to my brother who has a gluten allergy. And gave my sister whose birthday it was, a free glass of champagne and dessert. He was beyond kind and attentive and was ok with us being a loud and sarcastic group of people. To top it off, the food was delicious!! And good size portions. The atmosphere was fun, minus the table that complained to the manger that we were too loud and gave us a little bit of trouble. But that does not reflect on the establishment at all. LOVE IT! And will be back for sure
My favorite Chinese restaurant. They are able to make food gluten free without compromising flavor and texture. I’ve been ordering from them for years and it’s one of the only Chinese restaurants I’ve wanted to go back to. The general tso’s chicken is my go to with a gluten free sauce.
Best gluten-free pastries I’ve ever had! You honestly can’t tell if things are gluten-free or not I would recommend 1000%. I haven’t had anything here. I didn’t like they also have gluten-free tea parties available, which is amazing! highly highly highly recommend.
This place is fantastic. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming to all customers. The food is good, authentic, and made with passion. They are gluten-free friendly. I always recommend stopping by this place to get the best Turkish-style coffee. It's fresh and soothing to the pallet.
Love this place! Very inviting, clean and everything I have tried thus far is really good. Wholesome and healthy ingredients. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. My fabs so far are immunity and energy juices; the avocado and hummus toasts on gluten-free bread. @CleanJuice: Keep up the great work in providing healthy food choices.
Great food! Henry was a great server. Christmas decorations were also very nice. Great ambiance. The porterhouse for 2, veal chop and chicken were very good. The tin can cake was a perfect shareable dessert. We had someone who is gluten & dairy free and they were able to accommodate. Very pricey place. The moontini was also very good.
Food was excellent & service was awesome! I’m gluten free and they were so accommodating. Honestly no complaints what so ever. Appetizer: calamari was beyond delicious. I had the salmon for dinner and it was so good
I wish I can give them negativity review. I was there yesterday and food has no taste . Also force to get more food and say they have a rule.. I can get better food than this from NYC cart guy. Also miss leading about gluten free food…
First time dining here yesterday. The wedge salad was on point. The sides are very large and shareable. Dry aged strip was delicious and cooked perfectly. My friend enjoyed his swordfish too. Our server Ryan was terrific as well and made sure my friends fish was non gluten, non dairy. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. 🤌🏽
I had the most amazing meal at Red Sea Cafe a couple weeks back, and am still thinking about it! My friend and I did the Traditional Sharing Plate and were blown away by the quality of the ingredients, balance of flavors and textures, and heart and thought put into creating our meal.
We met Amleset, who shared how happy it makes her to serve Eritrean food that she would be proud to share with her family, friends, and the community in Morristown.
She’s definitely earned a new customer in me! Thank you for an amazing meal and sharing your passion for this amazing food, Amleset.
** the Teff is gluten free, has a great texture and tang, and is so fun to eat! I loved the experience of eating my plate 😋
Malay in Morristown, NJ is a delightful restaurant that serves authentic Malaysian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. The decor is simple yet elegant, with beautiful wooden furniture and traditional artwork adorning the walls.
The menu at Malay is extensive and offers a range of delicious dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Some of the standout dishes include the Beef Rendang, a rich and flavorful curry made with slow-cooked beef in a blend of spices, and the Char Kway Teow, a stir-fried noodle dish with shrimp, egg, and bean sprouts.
One of the unique features of Malay is the rotating specials menu, which features seasonal dishes and new creations from the chef. This adds an element of excitement to each visit and keeps the menu fresh and interesting.
The portions at Malay are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service. The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, making it a great choice for diners with dietary restrictions.
Overall, Malay in Morristown, NJ is a must-visit for anyone who loves Malaysian cuisine or is looking to try something new. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and inviting atmosphere makes for an unforgettable dining experience.
Next level service. Owner come to table to explain the menu and answer any questions. Helped with ordering since one of us had a gluten allergy. Passionate and very friendly. Plus the sushi was delicious. Definitely coming back.
pizza really doesn't get any better than the A Legna charred vegetable/chicken pie. It's like a work of art. We had a party over the weekend two people with gluten allergies succumbed to the incredible smell and felt that a taste was worth a weekend of suffering. honorable mention to the classico & vodka pies, which are also fantastic. There is something about the thick, smoky crust that gets me every time.
I went to this place because I am very gluten intolerant and it said salad and gluten-free options. I got what we call ‘glutened’ from this place nonetheless. I was with my wife at St. Barnabas Hospital where she had been in the ER which is why I had no food with me. There also was no atmosphere and I hoped I could eat there to take a break from the hospital but it just didn’t feel right to me. So if you have food issues this place is not for you.
Excellent food and service..The Gluten Free pizza was so yummy and the Strawberry salad a must!!!!! Definitely highly recommended and a comeback very soon❤️❤️🍕
RAUL'S IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
I had not been here for a hot minute because a.) the pandemic and b). I don't live near here. But I stopped in here and got my GLUTEN FREE Colombian empanadas, the "rock" (beef and cheese, old favorite) and shrimp (new favorite) and everything was *chef's kiss!* Also, yuca frita was amazing :-).
Best place ever.
I had braised chicken noodle soup-it was amazing! The chicken was tender and flavorful, the noodles soaked up the rich broth perfectly, and the cabbage and bok choy added a nice crunch. The scallion oil on top took it to another level. Plus, the owner made it gluten-free for me. I even had enough left over to enjoy for dinner!
This place is very unique. The staff is young and friendly. They care and are pleased to have you there. The surroundings are clean and bright. The tables and menu's are clean and scrubbed. The management thinks these things are important and the staff works hard in maintaining this level.
There was a young girl who tirelessly wiped each page of each menu off while she waited to greet new customers. She never stopped cleaning after she seated these customers...a rare find if you watch some of the staff at other places. Not every other place, I'm just making an observation about this place. Kudos to this young girl. If they clean their menus this well, how clean do you think the kitchen is?
Spotless I'm sure and scrubbed clean every night.
C'mon, the food here was delicious. There were 6 of us there for dinner..ribs, burger, pork all excellent. Barbecue sauce was excellent also. Important to know that they had the absolute best coconut cream pie I've ever had. Gluten free desserts also excellent tasting here.
