Felt I was able to enjoy my food w confidence! Separate fryer for GF fries. Staff said they prepare food in separate area. Had the taco nachos, landshark burger and fries! Delish!!! #celiac
Our server Ernesto was great and the food was delicious! They were also very knowledgeable on celiac/gluten allergies and have a dedicated fryer and section of the kitchen!
Ordered delivery and was excited to try out their vegan tempah cheese steak. It did not disappoint. It was amazing. Ordering was a breeze, and delivery was on time even with high traffic in the area due to a music festival going on. It was awesome to find a place that had vegan and gluten-free options. A highlight of our trip to Myrtle Beach.
I called to place a take out order. I was told that they did not take orders over the phone and was instructed to use ChowNow app. When looking on the app, I did not see Gluten Free pancakes option. Asking asking the employee on the phone where to locate it on the app and letting her know I was not seeing the same thing she saw on the app, she hung up on me. When I tried to call back they would not answer. I have eaten at this location while in town at least 2-3 times a year for over the last 10 years. I've never had an issue. If a customer is having difficulty with the technology that the restaurant insist on the customer using, i would hope that hanging up on that customer is not the service they would continue to provide. So I ended up ordering at another breakfast restaurant and service there was excellent.
Excellent food and friendly staff. And if you need to be gluten free, this is the place! Almost there whole menu is gluten free, even crab cakes. And they have options for a lot of the other items to make it "gluten free friendly" if it's not gf already. The cocktails were delicious and had a nice variety. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Our server Rhonda was kind and helpful with both recommendations and my allergy needs. We will definitely be back.
Amazing! Service was terrific and food was absolutely delicious! Celiac friendly- extremely aware and the price was surprisingly very reasonable for the amount of food!! AAA+++
Unfortunately, we arrived in the middle of a poorly executed menu change. On day one, they had a diverse menu with many gluten free options and good portion sizes. On day two, they had a new menu, servers that had no idea what was happening, smaller portion sizes, and no flexibility to order anything from the previous menu - not even simple pancakes with white and semi sweet chocolate chips. The server was great but powerless to do anything. The reduction in gluten free options was an unwelcome change as well for a population that already struggles to find safe breakfast options.
I had an absolutely incredible experience at Hard Rock Café in Myrtle Beach! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken wings and the Southwestern Bowl with grilled chicken, and both were flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly.
What truly made this visit stand out was the exceptional service. A supervisor named Dianne stopped by my table to personally explain how certain items from the gluten-free menu were prepared. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable with how things were cooked and whether certain preparation methods would meet my needs. I’ve never had anyone at any restaurant go out of their way like that to make sure I felt safe, heard, and completely satisfied when ordering gluten-free. The care, attention, and genuine hospitality Dianne showed truly made this experience unforgettable. I left not only full but also genuinely impressed and appreciative. I will absolutely be back!
Great meal, excellent service and fair price. Everyone in our part of 6 LOVED their meals! 1 member is Gluten Free and said the stuffed cabbage with veggies and saurkraut was excellent and really appreciated on their extensive dessert menu there was a GF dessert :)
Mackenzie was hands down the best server! Everyone’s food came out piping hot and was delicious including the gluten free options. The Crave was the perfect ending to a great day in Myrtle Beach! We’ll be back!
I had eggs cheddar cheese and bacon in a gluten-free crepe. The waitress was very accommodating absolutely sweet they kept refilling my decaffeinated coffee it was wonderful best coffee I've had in a while. The greeting staff was just as kind I got to pick my own table while I waited for my sister-in-law. My sister-in-law treated me to lunch everything was just perfect. I forgot to take pictures.
Gluten-free cones and ice cream! Not only was the ice cream delicious, but I had a cone for the first time in years! And, the server was knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross-contamination. I can't recommend this shop highly enough!
What a wonderful restaurant! Food, staff and atmosphere are marvelous! Quaint, charming and very southern. Gluten free options and not too pricey.
Fried green tomatoes - 8/10
Brussel Sprouts - 7/10 - cooked with a little too much oil. The sauce has a little kick. Nice, but everyone should know.
BLT - so so so good. 9/10
Cobb Salad - 8/10: green, fresh and ripe in all the right ways. Right down to the avacado.
Aperol Spritz - 7/10: The sparkling wine or persecco is very dry.
Pineapple mimosa- 8/10: again, very dry sparkling.
We enjoyed the spectacular food of this restaurant today.
Everything on the menu is original and handmade, prepared with love and quality ingredients, With vegan and gluten-free options. We tried the hout bay salmon and the harbour road shrimp and it has been a great surprise. An explosion of delicious flavors.
The atmosphere in the place is very pleasant and quiet, with a decoration that relaxes body and mind. The people who attended us made us feel at home. Overall, a great experience. A must try.
We love stopping at Crazy Mason when we visit Myrtle Beach. I have Celiac and they even offer Gluten Free options. They do have Dairy Free as well. We took a friend a long with us last night to experience what this place is all about. Max, our server was very pleasant and answered any questions we had. Our friend said that she will definitely need to return. Keep up the good work!
I have celiac and am very sensitive to gluten therefore I get nervous when it comes to eating out. The waiter was very nice and asked about any allergies. I told him I was celiac and he told me that there were several item on the bar that were gluten free or I could just order off the menu and they would prepare it in the back. He gave me an allergy card and told me I could look around the bar and someone would point out the GF items or, there was a QR code on the allergy card that depending on my allergy, it would list what I could and couldn’t have on the bar. Personally, I was nervous about the bar situation and chose play it safe and order food from the menu. I ordered a steak, loaded baked potato, and side salad. Everything was delicious. I will comment that I eventually broke down and did eat the (GF) rice pudding from the bar and it was perfect. I am almost 24 hours out and have not had a reaction so I was very impressed.
Great place for breakfast or brunch or lunch! The juice was good, not overly sweet or sour tasting. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfect. Coffee was acceptable. No non dairy creamers available. Gluten Free also limited to a white bread slice. My friends Ruben was on the dry side. It was okay but nothing special since the meat was dried out. Maybe another sandwich next time. I was very happy with my eggs. Our waiter was pleasant.
We spent our anniversary dinner here. The food and staff were great! They were very knowledgeable about the menu and offered alternatives for my gluten free and dairy free diet.
The best pancake house on the Grand Strand! As locals, we choose Theo's over all others for great food (gluten-free options is a plus for us!) and incredible service from the staff!
We decided to come Tuesday night for date night. We accidentally made our reservation for the week after, and they were more than accommodating to switch it around so we could dine that day. We had Ace as our server and from the start he was incredibly kind and very passionate about his job. He did so well explaining the menu to us, giving us advice on menu items, and helping to keep our night special with a signature plate and regular check ins at our table. The food was incredibly fresh and elegantly displayed. We informed him of our gluten allergy and he was able to provide us with which items were gluten free and substitutions for each portion of the meal. A beautiful atmosphere for a simple date night or a treasured anniversary! Will come again for sure!
We tried this place during a soccer tournament nearby. We ended up eating there both days. My daughter got the avocado toast both days and loved it. I got an Acai bowl the first day and a gluten-free avocado toast the second day. So so so good. I also got a gluten free key lime dessert to go and it was also delicious.
CROSS CONTAMINATION WARNING!!
When asked if there was a separate pizza sauce for gluten free crust, they looked dumbfounded. I had to explain that it cannot be the same sauce they used for regular pizza. If you have celiac you need to inform them to use new sauce, pizza cutter, pans etc.
Service was good, Gluten friendly crust tasted good but was hard (very crunchy). They should work on that as the pizza toppings and taste was very good.
Got the gluten free pasta with meat sauce and salad with the dressing and without croutons and it was 100% gluten free (no reaction). Oh and the Andes chocolates are also gluten free 🤤
LOVE me some chick-fil-A! Grilled nuggets and a kale crunch salad are my go-to, but their regular salad or grilled chicken sandwich can both be made gluten free.
Love, love, love Mr Fish! Staff is knowledgeable and helpful and always have great recommendations from their market items. And for lunch or dinner, this is a hidden gem. Awesome menu items, and even better specials. When accommodating a request for gluten free items, they were helpful and knowledgeable (get the hibachi shrimp, GF, with no sauce toppings). Our go-to every time we visit MB!
This restaurant is NOT celiac safe. Unfortunately there is a lot of cross contamination when the “gluten friendly” pizzas are made. Pizza Trays not washed between use, not switching gloves, pizza cutters, spatulas etc. I was not able to eat pizza here. However my family members that were able to eat regular pizza had a great meal. Some allergy training and accommodation would be needed if MOD would like to expand their customer base to those of us with dietary restrictions.
This restaurant is a very well maintained restaurant. The owner is nice and so are the staff. Love how the menu lets us know what food is gluten free and peanut free. Jay was my waiter and he was very nice and made sure we got everything we needed. Would recommend!!
Service was excellent, without being too attentive. Our servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free options.
We were brought complementary salad (the dressing is gluten-free) and breadsticks for 2 (bestie said they were tasty, not gluten-free of course).
Bestie chose a sizzlin 14oz NY strip, cooked rare. I went with a sizzlin 14oz rib eye, rare. We both ordered loaded baked potatoes as our sides. Everything was perfectly cooked. The steaks were INCREDIBLE, tender, extremely flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed a glass of the Ravenswood zinfandel with mine and it complemented my steak perfectly. *IF* I had a complaint, it would have been that the food needed more salt, but that was easily rectified and in no way detracted from our meal. We both like more salt than your average person.
We skipped dessert as we were stuffed and couldn't finish our steaks. There are no gluten-free dessert options, although they all look incredible, but bestie ordered a few cannoli and a slice of cake to go.
If you remember to take your receipt with you, the beach souvenir shop next door (unattached) offers a 10% discount on purchases, presumably to get diners to stop in.
