I’m going to be the contrarian among these reviews. I’m GF and DF and can’t tolerate spicy either. I ate here reluctantly because my family was sooo eager to experience this famous London restaurant. They informed me of all the ingredients that might be an issue for me but would not modify anything. So my options were extremely limited. Very loud. The rest of my group loved it. I nibbled and got dinner elsewhere later.

We visited this beautiful restaurant on Sunday the 26th January. We were booked in for dinner and very much looking forward to a roast dinner after a soggy and cold day at the zoo. Upon arrival we were welcomed into the restaurant by the manager. Upon checking our booking the table was checked and we were shown to our seats. The restaurant had a lovely friendly and warming atmosphere, the rooms were lovely and warm. Shortly after sitting down , our drinks order was taken and they arrived shortly after. I myself am coeliac, I also cannot have dairy or soya . I mentioned this to the waitress , who checked straight away with the chef what they could cook for me to meet my dietary requirements. To my amazement I could have the roast beef dinner! There was a great selection on the menu for normal and for gluten free needs. I was very happy with the choices available to me, even with additional allergies. Also the children’s menu had plenty of options, we took 3 children with us. The food arrived in good time and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing! The beef was cooked to perfection and the dinner was to a very high standard. The children’s meals were good size portions and the kids loved them. We enjoyed the food so much that we had puddings also. Yes they even had a pudding that was gluten, dairy and soya free! I had a sticky toffee sponge with dairy free ice cream. It was amazing, I don’t usual go out for a meal where I can be catered for especially for pudding as well. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our meal out and will definitely be dining again. It was faultless and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. Thank you for being an inclusive restaurant and making our Sunday lunch an enjoyable one.

Delicious and delightful. It feels incredible to go to a restaurant and not have to worry about getting glutened. Charming atmosphere too. We had the vegan lasagna and the gnocchi. Both sublime. Even the vegan cheesecake was wonderful. Wish I lived closer!

We had a fantastic experience here, truly cannot fault it. We were looking for a quick pre theatre light dinner with gluten free options, and this was perfect. Between two, we had a selection of 4 gf dumpling flavours, cucumber salad, and noodles. Our server asked how hungry we were in order to recommend the right amount of food. She also highlighted that we would want to save room for dessert, and she was right! We had the dessert platter, which was incredible. If you are only choosing one, go for the apple pie. It was such a surprise treat! As it was happy hour, we also ordered two espresso martinis, which were also lovely. Service was quick and courteous. We were accidentally given one wrong flavour of dumpling, but it was swiftly replaced without fuss. The dumpling decorating was, of course, the cherry on the cake.

I've been here many times as my partner is a coeliac and the baked goods are delicious. It's a small cafe with nice decor and child-friendly services that liven it up. The owner is very nice, and their customer service via email is clear and appreciative. The staff and owner are friendly despite their directness and mannerisms seeming unfriendly to some. They've recently paused their Sunday brunch menu, which I hope returns soon!

Perfect place to grab gluten free fish and was really impressed on how the young lady who served us handled a tricky punter, who was very unreasonable(imagine getting annoyed with the chef for not giving you chips the way you like them even though she didn’t say anything when she ordered and the waitress was happy to bring her another portion).

Lovely cafe - really amazing range of treats, and the whole place is 100% gluten free, so as a Coeliac I can be super comfortable that it’s completely safe. They have a huge array of different food that frequently gets mixed up, far better than the typical single sad gluten free brownie you get at most places. My favourite so far has to be the pistachio stuffed cookie - absolutely amazing. They also do a delightful afternoon tea, which is absolutely HUGE!

This place was lovely!!!! arranged for a family birthday lunch as we had some people who were vegan/gluten free. The cafe actually put out a birthday banner, table decorations and a slice of cake with a candle in it!! even though I didn't ask (which got me lots of brownie points! THANK YOU!!!). The food was great and they were so lovely despite it being a sunny day and being super busy and training new staff. Really pleased with the choice and hope to come back soon!!

Vida Bakery is the original and best free from bakery! Their creations are delicious and we have used them for many birthdays and even our wedding. Most guests are not vegan, GF or have any requirements at all but they always comment it is best cake they’ve ever eaten. That’s all you need to know!! Dani’s flavour creations are out of this world. You must go there or order their postal service online. The cake tubs are amazing too!

After walking up and down the seafront, looking for something to eat, it was the last place we tried before giving up and going hungry again on a day out. It's the best vegan food I've ever had! So central, they do vegan, raw and gluten free. It's the only place my friend can visit. We have been here many times and love it. It's hidden just by the m n m store by China town. Recommended!

AMAZING! Great food, wonderful atmosphere, friendly and superbly knowledgeable about dietary requirements! Two coeliac diners! Our server, Tanya, was knowledgeable, friendly, pleasantly interactive and catered superbly to our two coeliac diners as well as accommodating a small appetite of our elderly dad. The food was superb, peppercorn sauce on the GF steak and the sauce with the seabass are off the scale. The smash burger went down a treat and the addition of the Baileys to the ice cream was quite luxurious! Wish there was one closer but will definitely be back! The decor and ambiance suited us well and, with one partially deaf diner, the atmosphere was perfect.

My wife and I were visiting Southwold and fancied a bit of lunch. We passed many promising looking eateries but didn't see anything suitable as we are both gluten intolerant. At the end of town, we happened across Jakery Bakery and were pleasantly surprised to see that everything they offered was gluten-free. It is a small place and we had the dog with us but there was a table outside where we could sit. I was going to have a toastie, but greed got the better of me, so I ordered that plus a cheese scone and a sausage roll! All were excellent, as was the service from the very welcoming staff, and we both left with full bellies. We'll definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Southwold again.

Best gluten free restaurant we've found in Yorkshire. It was great being able to enjoy 95% of the menu, rather than 5% of the menu. My wife and I had an excellent meal and the service from the staff was superb.

Went with a friend for a late lunch. Had the gluten-free tapas deal (6 plates for £27) with a couple of drinks - just over £33 for the two of us. Nice atmosphere and food very good, although some of the dishes may be a touch fiery for some tastes. Nice to find another decent eatery...

Another solo meal……there’s an art to solo eating. Go high end or drop to lower end quieter. Go mainstream and you’re gonna to feel uncomfortable. Casa is a simple but quality eating (and South American dance club if that’s your thing) venue. Halfway down Leeds’ Grand Arcade it offers an interesting array of South American foods. Offering a completely Gluten Free menu it’s niche. I ordered a glass of Pino Grigio while I looked at the menu. Not good. Sent it back. Got a Super Bock beer - superb. Ordered three dishes from their tapas menu. Lamb chops - delicious but lack of meat meant I felt shortchanged. Beef tacos - good but needed a little more spice/flavour, fried plantain with guacamole - delicious. Something of a curate’s egg. I’m inclined to say I like it. But it needs to sharpen up in a couple of areas.
