Quality food, quality service, great communication.
We had a party of 40 people coming on a Thursday night, and the owner Mike made sure we had everything we needed. He helped us arrange the evening to make it perfect, and he made everything smooth and easy with great service and clear & timely communication regarding our group reservation beforehand.
The decorative cherry trees are really pretty.
The food was superior. I eat Vietnamese and Thai food regularly, so I knew it was a cut above. People in our party who didn't know the food were pleasantly surprised and left happy with satisfied bellies and rave reviews. Vegetarians like me and folks looking for halal or gluten-free dishes were all happy that night.
Highly recommend!
I recently visited The Keg on Airport Road, Mississauga, near the airport, and it was quite an experience. The ambiance was lovely, and the location was easy to get to with ample parking at the back.
We were greeted pleasantly at the door, which set the tone for the evening. While waiting for our table, there was plenty of space to stand around comfortably, and the cucumber water available was a nice touch. Although I wasn’t initially pleased with the area we were to be seated, the staff kindly prepared a booth for us without any fuss, which I appreciated.
As for the food, I decided to try the new menu item: duck. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The outside was crispy, but the inside was dry. The server was understanding and had it removed from the bill, but the accompanying sauce didn’t help either. The lobster tail was also overcooked and too salty, so I don’t plan to order it again.
On a positive note, the steak was excellent, which is what The Keg is known for. Pair it with the twice-baked potato for a great meal.
The garlic Mashed potatoes was also very good.
The wings to start was very good. If you can handle a little spice go for it.
The bathrooms could use some upgrades, , and touchless faucets would be a good improvement.
Despite some drawbacks, I enjoyed the ambiance and overall vibes. They offer a lot of gluten-free options for main courses, and I’d definitely return for another dining experience.
My wife and I had a fantastic experience here on October 26. All staff, including our server Destiny and a manager that was on duty that night, were SUPER attentive and were patient and diligent with my wife's peanut allergy and gluten intolerance.
Destiny was AMAZING and was totally on the ball for the entire length of our visit. What friendly staff they have here. Please give Destiny a raise, it's well deserved! Lol.
I had the Blackened Maki Maki which was VERY tasty, and made even more so by the flavourful chorizo and delish mashed potatoes. My wife had the Mango Chipotle Chicken which was a nice big serving size and had just the right amount of kick/spice to it. Super impressive food overall!
Literally the only complaint I have about that night is that the restaurant was pretty chilly, but this is a minor gripe and we were a bit close to the front door anyways. We will absolutely be back! 5 stars from us. :)
Such lovely staff. They have a dedicated gluten free menu and they brought out my food separately with a red pick in it so they were sure my food was prepared for celiac consumption. The blood orange margarita was delicious!! I had the blackened salmon with mango salsa and coconut rice and started with a house salad. Both were good. I really enjoyed the setting too. Nicer than I would have imagined. A good spot if you’re staying in a neighbouring hotel.
My first time at Chop/Dixon Road - met a friend arriving from UK for a stop over en route to the Islands - both the food and service were just outstanding! Our server Dieter could not have been more attentive and accommodating (as were all the staff there - just lovely warm folks) and the manager (sorry I think it was Brian/Ryan) was so kind in acknowledging my diet restriction by a sampling of gluten free amuse- bouche - just a wonderful dining experience and evening - thank you to all at Chop/Dixon Road (including the kitchen perfect steak/salmon/ yummy salads and the truffle mash is to die for!!) I hope to return again even though I live downtown - SO GOOD!!! Guess I'll have to visit the Downtown and Burlington locations now - CHOP DIXON ROCKS on all counts - highly recommend for any occasion- SO GOOD - okay I said that already lol - and the Agave non alcoholic herb cocktail is so refreshingly tasty KUDOS to all - my palate thanks you!
A group of us came to have lunch at this location. They were very accommodating for a group of 9. One of our group members has a gluten allergy and our waitress Jinan was diligent and ensured the kitchen staff was well informed. Overall this location was great and our server Jinan was excellent. Thank you.
Absolutely phenomenal. Exceptional staff make this a must see if you're nearby! Great gluten free options too:) We had stopped by to celebrate a Jiu-jitsu tournament win in style and they made our 13 year old champion feel awesome too.
Creme brulee is to die for!
Fantastic for celiacs - almost everything has a gluten free option; pasta, burger buns, dessert. Only issue is not having a dedicated gluten free fryer, so be careful of that! 4/5 stars due to this, as well as the very long wait times between ordering and receiving your meal. Definitely worth the wait however, best burger I've had in a looooong time!
My 7 yr. old is Celiac. Ordered her a gluten free desert option. Waiter serves her one not gluten free. Waiter messed up pizza toppings. Language barrier with the server. I speak English...sorry. Manager completely indifferent. Been to other locations'...no problems. Do urself a favor and stay away from Boston Pizza near Pearson Airport. Morons!!!!
This was my first visit to the Stella Terrace at Woodbine, and we enjoyed a pleasant lunch with a great view of the race. Food was good, with both vegetarian and gluten-free options available. The gluten-free bread was excellent. Drinks were average but the overall experience was enjoyable.

Chef Kimura prepared an omakase dinner of incredible tastes and textures. He even prepared a vegan gluten free dinner for two of my guests. We all sat in the tatami room and our server even wore a kimono. The entire evening turned out to be an incredible experience.
Great little place for excellent sushi. Staff is gluten free aware and made my partner and I a special GF platter of tasty sushi together with GF soy sauce. Definitely going back if we're near Toronto airport again.
