The BEST Gluten-Free Pizza I’ve Ever Had!
This place is an absolute gem! As someone who eats both vegan and gluten-free, finding great pizza can be a challenge—but this spot blew me away. The gluten-free crust was hands down the best I’ve ever had: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. The vegan cheese was incredible—creamy, melty, and made in-house like everything else on the menu.
The owners were so warm and welcoming, and even gave us some fantastic local tips for diving in the area. I really appreciated how seriously they took my dietary needs—they were extra careful with my gluten-free order to avoid any cross-contamination, which gave me so much peace of mind.
Even my husband, who’s not usually into vegan pizza, devoured his and couldn’t stop raving about how good it was. We’ll absolutely be back to try the empanadas and brownies—this spot is a must-visit!
Such a good vibe, very calm even though it’s close from the main streets and board walk. The owner and staff are so kind. And the food, wow so so good. We tried the pizza, it was like an authentic Italian pizza. **they have pizza and pasta that are gluten free !!
We had a lovely breakfast here with delicious gluten free options and Jugo verde and were served by the lovely Anthonia. We loved it so much we came again for dinner and was served by Antandio Quiroz who was so lovely ! I would 100% reccomend
Santa Iguanas had such a fun, chill vibe with a bright and lively atmosphere. The live music really brought the energy and made the experience feel extra special. We loved the margaritas and sangrias! They were perfectly made and super refreshing. The food was absolutely delicious, and the bruschetta was a standout. They even brought out one gluten-free and one regular version so we could both enjoy it, which was such a thoughtful touch. Tons of gluten-free options overall, which was a big plus. Definitely a memorable spot—we’ll be back!
This business made my wedding cake. It was the best cake my husband and I had ever had. I can’t rave enough about the taste and texture of this cake. No one would ever know it was gluten free.
Best place to eat in Oaxaca for people with food allergies. I’m gluten free and dairy free and was able to enjoy a lovely breakfast and dinner with no problems. They also have dairy free and gluten free pastry options.
I ordered the passion fruit and pear cake, and what a disappointment! First of all, it's not cheap. I ordered it for my mom's birthday. She has celiac disease. It's sad to see that I wasted my money, my time, and the opportunity for my mom to celebrate her birthday with something delicious. The filling is extremely sour and chewy, and the crust is more like cardboard than cake! Terrible!
I ate there in person 2 weeks ago it was fantastic!!!! I just received my rappi delivery the chicken sandwich has so much salt I can’t eat it. It’s an overwhelming amount. :( the food was so great the first time as a celiac person I was really excited.
Gluten-free pasta and pizza. A chic atmosphere and the service is of a high standard👌 Even the chef came to ask how it tasted. Beautiful, authentic atmosphere. It looked like a movie.
Delicious gluten-free pizzas. The place is small to eat there. There are two to three tables. But the pizzas are delicious, and can be ordered to go. I recommend the Campo Pizza and the wild mushroom pizza. Super rich!
Very nice Italian restaurant! Friendly and efficient service. I think the owner knows how to set the mood in the evening! The place is pleasant outdoors. They make gluten-free pasta, so that's nice. The salads, however, aren't amazing.
Really delicious food in a great setting and atmosphere! I’m coeliac and they were great for communicating with me what dishes were gluten free. Menu clearly labelled with gluten free options and everything I had was incredible! So good we came back a second time to try more of the menu!
Gorgeous restaurant and amazing food! Ate here on my birthday while visiting Playa del Carmen and was so magical and delicious! I have celiac (gluten allergy) and the team was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable on allergies - Highly recommend the tuna steak - it was so delicious! And the restaurant is actually built around a cenote - super cool experience and some of the best food I ate in Mexico!

To all my gluten free and Celiac friends, yesterday we went to Mezcal and Sal and it was delicious. As soon you sit and tell them you have a gluten free allergy they ask if you are celiac. Mara and Leo were our amazing waiters and they made sure i was well taken care of too. I had the vegan cheese quesadilla and it was delicious I also had the shrimp gluten free tisadito. Thank you Mara and Leo I would definitely go back :)

I recently dined at Layla and had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, with options to suit every dietary need, including being Celiac friendly. The staff was wonderful, creating a welcoming atmosphere with their great service and friendly demeanor. The vibe of the restaurant was awesome, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommend!
I have celiac (strictly gluten-free), and I'm vegetarian. I came here because of multiple reviews that were positive for those with celiac disease, and the restaurant overall had good reviews in general. Unfortunately, I had a pretty poor experience. As vegetarian/gluten-free, the waiter recommended a salad or a warm cauliflower dish in a mole sauce. There was some complimentary pickled vegetables with various sauces and fried tortillas/chips that came out, and the waiter assured me the chips were also gluten-free. I began to eat them, and then they came rushing back later to notify me the chips/fried tortillas were in fact NOT gluten-free. At that point, the dinner was mostly ruined. I ate my main course cauliflower dish which was pretty good, though left the restaurant quickly afterwards. Unfortunately, I did get sick soon afterwards from the food, so I can't give a positive review of the restaurant. The restaurant also just handled it by having the waiter apologize, and then still got charged full price for all the items, and also pressured into giving a tip despite all this. Anyway, definitely not going again.
A good option for those looking for a different experience than the usual restaurant experience. The kitchen team pays attention to the ingredients, along with a wellness experience and an explanation of each food and the reasons for a certain process. Try their desserts, which, in addition to being gluten-free and healthy, are an unforgettable explosion of flavor. I would go back without hesitation. Let yourself be swept away by the experience and ask if you have any questions.

Great! Build your own pizza, they have many options and the combinations are delicious.
They have a gluten-free base, and although it costs a little more, it's really delicious.
One of my favorite places to go.

This place is incredible and they have options for celiacs. I went on vacation to Holbox and it was recommended to me, I wanted to try more things. Put a branch in Playa del Carmen🙏🏻🙏🏻🥹 haha. The quality of food, service and space 10/10. Thank you👏🏻
A pretty garden in the shade of the jungle, smiling and welcoming staff and impeccable service.
A healthy and tasty breakfast...
and even a delicious gluten free chocolate tart.
I recommend 200%
We came around 1pm and the place was almost empty. They accommodate glutenfree (Pasta Option and a couple of meats). Service was okay but the food took forever and was mediocre. Wouldn’t come back.

Terrible quality service, the girl at the morning counter wins, with a long face, slow service and not good quality. It's a shame because it was one of the few gluten free stores.
Gluten Free Baked Goods are the best. This is a bit of an unusual review. I have to eat Gluten Free. I had one of the cupcakes at Flora Farms and was impressed by how good it was. We have a home in Pescadero up the coast an hour and usually are in Baja for my birthday. I decided to order a cake from Flora Farms. We had to pick it up 3 days early after an airport pick-up. I was a bit worried about transporting the cake but we brought a portable refrigerator and managed with only a little damage that was later covered by flowers. I ordered Gluten Free Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting. The cake held up beautifully for 3 days - I froze it and thawed the day of serving. It honestly was one of the best cakes any of us - gluten free and not alike - had ever had. The frosting has tons of vanilla bean and the texture of the cake outstanding. There is the tiniest hint in the texture that it is gf that only I would pick up since I worry sometimes whether things are truly gf - that slight difference is reassuring. Enjoying leftovers for breakfast. Glad I only have cake on my birthday as it would be too easy to over indulge.
I imagine Flora Farms makes good cakes because of the wedding activity on site but very few manage a gluten free version this amazing.

Great place, lots of vegan and gluten free options, really recommend the empanadas they are amazing. A word of warning, the coffee wasn’t great, couldn’t drink it, it was really bad !
Charming and cozy place with 100% food as well as vegan and gluten free pizza. I love the menu. I only took a photo of half the menu but they have baguettes, pizzas, soups, nachos, salads, flautas, tostadas, hamburgers, nachos and more. They have beer and wine for sale. The staff is very friendly. The place is clean and well ventilated. The garden is beautiful and they grow their own herbs for cooking. Inside the place there is also an area selling clothing and bags as well as crafts. I come to visit Ajijic and it is the second time I come to the restaurant and it will definitely not be the last. I loved everything! I wish they were also open for breakfast. I highly recommend this place 💚
I came here for the Gluten Free pancakes and they didn’t disappoint. They are very buttery and sweet. Best ones I’ve tasted in Tulum. Andres was my waiter and he was very attentive and welcoming. Really great place to work remote and spend the day.
Celiac friendly & delicious. Everyone loves their dishes. I had the shrimp tacos and I’d definitely go there again. The server was super helpful, friendly & knowledgeable.
